Marina running out into the audience to give the woman a hug just makes the entire experience for me.

Apparently holograms and androids age?

S01.E01: In Throes Of Increasing Wonder
starri replied to Mr. Sparkle's topic in Interview With The Vampire
It's not even really innuendo. I mean, Louis flat-out said to Father Matthias "I have laid with a man." I did like the blink-and-you'll-miss-it namedrop of the Mayfair Witches, as a reminder of the building of the Anne Rice Cinematic Universe. -

At the Daystrom Institute no less. Home to the Federation's most advanced tech. -
Hadn't realized this had premiered, so noted it when flipping around Peacock this afternoon. Wasn't a perfect pilot by any stretch of the imagination, but it was intriguing enough to check back in. I'm not super crazy about Addison, but I liked the rest of the cast quite a bit. Anyone else disappointed that Ziggy didn't talk?

If it's from ScreenRant, it's 85% likely to be bullshit.

The producers of the show have said that their internal chronology is different from Memory Alpha. The first two seasons and the first half of this current one were in 2380, this is the first in 2381.

YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS! I'll have more cogent thoughts later, but really, the episode made me "I want to do backflips" happy.

M. Night Shyamalan presents Drax the Destroyer and Ron Weasley menacing George III and his husband and daughter.

Didn't they show it in the trailer?

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - General Discussion
starri replied to Aethera's topic in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
There's a reason that when it came time for Bajor to negotiate with the Dominion, it was the Kai and not the First Minister who represented the former. Plus, her scene with Kira, where she points out that the Resistance fighters were arrogant in thinking they were the only ones who fought back, when she had been imprisoned and beaten for teaching about the Prophets. It's just a great scene between two good actors, and it's made even better because honestly, Winn is right. -

Louise Fletcher has gone to the Celestial Temple. -
I love Shaxs. "I wasn't going to race without my friends." D'awwwwww.

I was just impressed that they gave him a husband in with the wives. I knew when they didn't announce a character for Renee Elise Goldsberry that she was going to be playing Mallory, and I knew she'd be great at it, but I had no idea how great.

I mean, the most interesting thing they showed off at the D23 Lucasfilm panel was Willow.

S01.E05: Mean, Green, and Straight Poured into These Jeans
starri replied to tkc's topic in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
I don’t really have a life, so it’s very rare that they make a reference that’s so obscure that even I don’t know it. Hats off. And I agree, I hope they can find a way to work him into the actual Marvel universe. -
Same species, the Edosians.

I loved Freeman's log, where she indicated that this wasn't the first time the Cerritos had been turned into a temple.

I have really found this show funny, but nothing made me laugh as hard as “It says ‘Avongers.’” -
I’m glad I managed to give a listen before Mickey’s lawyers swooped in. Halle Bailey sounds a lot like Whitney Houston, and that’s one of the highest compliments I can give.

Meh. According to a few people I follow on social media who were there, the audience got to see the entirety of "Part of Your World" which was described as leaving people in tears.

But they already adapted Born Again for the Netflix series. Unless they're just using the title.

He might be the exception (and frankly, that's why I find that a little of him goes a long way), but compare that against T'Ana, who has negative bedside manner but is still a great doctor or Ransom, who's an egotistical blowhard but is still a pretty good first officer. I've always thought the Cerritos should steal its slogan from Legends of Tomorrow: "We screw things up for the better." I hope Mariner and Jennifer DTR soon.

I can't imagine they'd skip a theatrical release for a movie as big as Little Mermaid.
