  1. Today, on The View, Sherri used the word "conundrum".
  2. Theresa has been stupid from the get-go. She was going after loser Dr. Dan, when Brady was ripe for the pickings. Finally she figured out he has money, and he's hot, so she pursued Brady, and got him. And she even managed to marry him. Instead of doing as you say, and playing it all to her advantage, she tries to get John to pay her off (stupid) and then imo she overreacts when she finds out she was recorded by John. But it does tell us something more about her. Up until now she has been a vindictive immature brat, and now she is displaying some serious violent tendencies. To bash John in the head like that takes a lot of rage and anger. But what did he do that was so rage-inspiring? Yes, John is a complete asshole, but she should have just ignored him altogether. He shoved her and she fell, which is an assault, so she could have called the cops on him if she wanted to. She bashed him in the head because of the recording, which I didn't see, but I am assuming she took or deleted? This makes her about as smart as Sami and co by tossing Nick in the river. I always thought Abby was a stupid twit, but today she displayed that she has mental health issues. You are correct, she should be laying low, eating ice cream and watching TCM until the worst blows over. Instead she goes to the HTS and gets into a loud fight about something which she knows next to nothing about, and with an opponent she has no clue about. And then she physically assaults her! Let's hope one of those nosy Salemites tweeted a photo of that.
  3. I was thinking this the other day. Except that now they have linked Silas to Lauren, and potentially to Nina if Lauren is hers. But it would be great if Sam and Silas fizzled out and one day McBain just showed up.
  4. This is a good point, Ava is her own version of BSC and he was drawn to that. I guess he just can't tell.
  5. I think its interesting that Silas didn't realize he was married to a sociopath that seems to be remarkably like her mother, a woman he loathed.
  6. Yeah, I just don't get what reaction Bitsy thought she would get for her "this is so important I have to call in from vacay to trash Rosie" tactic. Did she think the world would say, hey, Bitsy, you are correct, she is evil and was mean to you and the network and of course she is anti-military. She is the last person that should get that gig on The View. You were right to halt your vacay and let us know about that. It does sound like sour grapes, even if you ignore the inaccuracy of her statements. And it does sound mean-spirited. No win for her, though I am pretty sure they will find a way to spin this on Faux and Friends tomorrow.
  7. I too am confused by the timeline on when Sami knew, based on what she said. Am really looking forward to that reveal, how did she find out, and when.
  8. All of this is getting great buzz for the View--they are making sparks (Joy, Bitsy, Ro) and they aren't even on the show! Bitsy's idiotic pink "on my mind" note that she tweeted is a perfect example of how ridiculous she is. She is disingenuous but pretends to be sincere and heartfelt. Which is not a surprise for someone in a public role but she does it so badly that it is comical. She is the caricature.
  9. It was a good show today, and even KM did a good job and seemed like a real person in her conversations with B/B. I liked the scenes with DB/RS/SC. However, there were a few troubling things. If anyone has ever had a family member with mental illness, you would know it is probably not a good idea to let Quinn roam free after attempted murder etc. I feel for Wyatt, and understand what he went through as a kid but his mother is a true danger to society and herself and needs to get treatment. So Liam saying "let her go"--as much as that meant something else, they really should have had her reported and picked up. They cannot know who she might hurt next. I was surprised that Liam didn't at least try to punch Quinn or defend himself--not sure if that is because she is a woman, or he was just in shock. But if Wyatt hadn't shown up, Liam would have been stabbed. I don't find it too believable that he would just lay there and try to talk her out of it.
  10. Jenny's fake-out was stupid, but I did enjoy her baring her fangs and getting her bitch on. Sherri definitely connects to the audience, and that was what she was doing in her remarks. I think she is usually ill-informed and somewhat gross, but her approach today is why people like her, she seemed genuine (for her). Hopefully hair and wardrobe did get fired, because that clip of her is going to be all over the internet and she looked like she just got out of the shower and threw on a tube dress to lounge around the house. They couldn't have done a better job on this day, of all? The whole thing was mighty awkward for Whoopi, but she soldiered on, and Sherri even managed to thank her for having her back even when she didn't want her to (which we witnessed countless times). Since they are staying on for the end of this season, I guess this means they will actually get a good-bye show, well, at least Sherri will and Jenny might get a few seconds.
  11. Liam could have called the cops on Quinn a few times now, the steam room, the sword poke, the death threats, the breaking and entering. Aly also could have reported the threats Quinn made toward her on the rooftop/bridge. At least if Liam had reported her, it would make it more difficult for her to just show and not have any consequences. Plus, $Bill is is his father, he could just hire a security team. The whole thing is kind of implausible, but I guess we need him to be wimpy/not want to report Wyatt's mother for whatever reason in order for Quinn to literally stalk and threaten him.
  12. I knew I would find soulmates in here, equally as appalled at Jenn's get-up for 4th of July. The funny thing is I have always though that only thin people could wear those baggy outfits and look good, but Jenn continues to prove me wrong. And why does she look so bad? Forget the tablecloth she was wearing, her hair and makeup are simply atrocious, washing her out and making her look severe. They need to soften her look.
  13. If Tammy Sue is so terrified of her father, then it probably wasn't a good idea to steal his money and give him a reason to look for her. This is what makes me crazy about this storyline. If we assume that Eve is not a con and lying about the deal, then Jenn should be completely blase about it as it has nothing to do with her. It is a legal matter. But she is determined to take it personally. Blech. I guess we should assume though that it will ultimately come out that Eve is lying about this. It would be more fun if she isn't.
  14. So, half-watching this Canada Day (it is glorious here in Calgary) and I think I heard Kelly say that she revealed to Jenna whatever badness Ben did, because she was grieving and wanted his life to crash just like hers was. That's pretty mean-spirited and makes me wonder why Ben is even speaking to her. However, since I don't like Ben, it is okay with me. I still think his secret had better be something better than a mercy killing, for all of this angst we are having to suffer through. And, I am so sick of Nikki who is pushing 60 at least, acting like Summer's age with her baby girl talk and anxieties. Grow the fuck up. It doesn't help that Victor uses baby talk when he speaks with her and her own grown children treat her like a child. And how exactly did she miss the part where Paul could be the father? Today she marvelled at how it simply hadn't occurred to her, and how if she had just considered it, she could have kept the baby and Paul could have know his son. WTF?
  15. Yes, we don't know what really happened, but we do know what didn't...HHK did not press charges, nor did CBS/Y&R. MM should be considered viable especially since he has such a loyal fan base. I know no one wants to rehash this stuff, but in the context of MM coming to GH, it makes perfect sense they would want him (ratings/publicity) and it makes sense he would want it--since he is probably having trouble getting work. I think MM would make a decent Jason. I don't think BM would be ideal as Jason, but I am sure he could pull it off. And which one seems better matched to Kelly Monaco? I think MM.
  16. So we know that Stitch supposedly killed a man (or someone? I think I remember it was a man). Jenna left him not because he cheated on her but because of something far worse. Didn't she imply it would be better if Stitch was dead (like Adam)? Kelly is the one who told Jenna, which wrecked Jenna/Stitch's marriage. She did this because she wanted someone to hurt as much as she was over losing her son. But Stitch didn't kill her son. I still think Kelly and Stitch are sibs. So let's say that Stitch killed someone while drunk driving. Would this really cause a wife to move to Australia? It seems like it has to be worse. So then it would be Murder One. But no, then he would be in jail. Maybe he killed Jenna's brother or father? And why didn't Billy just say that Stitch is banging his wife, probably got her pregnant, and Billy wants to know what kind of a guy he is? Wouldn't Jenna have been happy to tell him what an asshole he is? Summer should be charged with a crime of some sort but they don't seem to be arresting her. MTS/Nikki looked truly awful in that sausage dress dress with diamond dog collar. When they show the flashbacks it makes me think, WTH happened? Then other days she looks fab. Very up and down. I happen to remember that scene they keep showing between Paul and NIkki and I don't understand why anyone would be surprised that Paul got her pregnant way back then.
  17. I think that Jen's outfit was more "dusty rose" than taupe, and yes, it made sense it would match the house and the decor. But then the makeup was all sort of one-tone, and she becomes this person like in those art exhibits where the naked people are painted and look like they are part of the room. I will say that she has a cute ass in those dusty rose pants, and I am not even fond of girls, but for some reason my eye was drawn there. My big fashion highlight of the week so far is Marlena wearing another one of her neon jackets, but this time, while supposedly stealthily stalking and eavesdropping on Kami. How could they not see her? When Kate finally did see her, you could tell she was blinded in her peripheral vision.
  18. This show is painfully bad. I am so bored I barely watch when I play it back. However, I am seriously getting annoyed because I want to know who the fuck Stitch killed! And is Kelly his sister? Sister in law? I couldn't even watch the Avery/Austin/Dylan plot, so stupid. I did, for some reason, enjoy Chelsea and Billy. Shocker.
  19. I am a wee bit confused. It sounds like Nina woke up some time ago, because she told Silas that when he went to see her and her room was empty, that she had woken up and been moved to some other place where she was rehabbing her muscles etc. Maddie would have known where she was, because how could she have arranged that otherwise. So before Maddie is outed as the criminal she is, she has moved Nina to some place to recuperate. Then suddenly Maddie would have been gone, to PC, and then really gone, to jail. Nina wouldn't have seen her for weeks or mos. Let's say Nina told her to get lost--that would be odd because she didn't yet know that Maddie was totes e-vul. But let's say she did. Then we have to assume that Nina never once looked at the new fangled internets to check up on her family's life while she was gone, or even read her own life story. Also, none of Nina's caregivers or hospital staff read the papers or the internets either, or they did, but they are so professional they don't gossip and they certainly don't mention a thing to her. Suddenly, she announces she wants to travel to PC to find Silas (no concern for her long lost bro though). Her caregivers say, sure, let's go! That means somehow some lawyer or someone must have visited her to give her access to her financial resources, but didn't tell her about her murderous mother. Doesn't make any sense to me.
  20. BaWa is back! Not on the View, but she is coming out of retirement to interview the father of Elliot Rodger (at least that is what is being reported on HuffPo). That only took three weeks...
  21. Show is pissing me off, because I completely agree with Jen, and I really want to smack Nicole. And it is so obvi that they are setting up a Jen/Eric pairing....
  22. AS on Latifah today teased that Sami pushes the boundaries this summer like she hasn't for a long time.
  23. There was a time period during YandR several years ago where Phyllis got together with Nick and her personality changed from Phyllis, to sickeningly sweet and syrupy, with a big grin on her face and those coy flirtatious glances. It looks like that is the character MS is channelling for returned from a coma Nina. However, Nina also seems to be frighteningly crazy and needy. She is barely out of the coma and she is setting up scenarios for her to be hugging Silas on the couch. I just don't think this is the Nina Silas described to us before of course MS was cast. Any second now Nina is going to develop a penchant for triple-repeating words and phrases--we could blame the coma but YandR watchers know better.
  24. Re Quinn's culpability, I do not think she is responsible for Ridge flying to UAE nor for dragging Brooke down the beach and onto the helicopter. That is all Ridge. All he had to to do was email the photo to Brooke or call her. Or nothing at all, which is probably the best option he didn't even consider. However, Quinn's blatant attempt to disrupt the wedding and to try to compel Ridge to do something makes her responsible for her own fate, which is her sorry ass is going to get booted out. She seemed to care so much about he work with Forrester and everything has been to hang onto that, yet she has pulled some bonehead moves, and this latest one should seal the deal. People already see her as manipulative and troublesome, now she is giving them proof. The one who should be angry at Quinn is Wyatt. And Bill is an idiot because now that Quinn showed her hand, she has nothing on him anymore, but now he has his own mess to clean up. I did enjoy Bill and Justing like two little kids in the schoolyard, trying to blame each other for the trouble they are in.
  25. I don't get why they didn't photoshop the 20 year-old photo of Silas and Nina, so that they actually looked young. I don't get Nina emerging from a coma and materializing in a wheel chair in Port Charles. I don't get why Gabriel existed--having him live creates way more conflict for Patrick. If Levi is Mac's son, then Mac did it with a really ugly chick all those years ago. I prefer that he be a zen hitman working for Puke. Michelle Stafford is too Phyllis to me. It would be like Jane Elliott going to another show and playing a naive, saint-like woman. Oh wait. JE can act, so that is actually plausible. I am just waiting for MS to turn into Philly. She doesn't look at all like the Nina that was described to us way back when by Silas. I envisioned Nina to be a petite, fragile/frail blonde, who is tormented.
