  1. They really go over the top trying to make Iris the best person in the world. It's like they cant come up with value-added storylines that just has Iris being a great person so instead they do what Arrow did w/my girl Laurel. "The worlds ending and you're putting others above you" "Iris did a great job picking you as leader in her absence" Like....just stop. Allow Iris to be human, be scared, think of herself.
  2. Just from what we've seen on the show...if we got rid of Erika then we'd get rid of Rinna, Porsha, Marlo, Ramona, Bethenny, a lot of wives for being not the greatest. Erika has bored me more than she has entertained me so if she left it wouldnt be that big of a loss to me but from what we see on the show do I think she has to be fired? no.
  3. I dont think anyone is saying that Erika behaved in a flattering manner. But (and this is a BUT) if she didn't know, why should she be fired for the sins of her husband? Yes there are a million ways to be a bad person. Majority of Bravolebs/Stars in general wouldn't be around if networks got rid of them but of course there will always be things that trump other bad behaviors.
  4. The show is decent and produces decent episodes but will they ever get past the decent stage? They spent all of 5 seconds on Maggie's "incarceration" and RIGHT OFF TO THE SPA WE GO.....like huh? This show has a very hard time of finding a balance because now everything is magical. The sisters cant do anything that isnt run by magic and it just lessons the stories. Kaelas powers are already advancing 4 episodes in. First her drawings left the page but now they don't need to leave the page to manifest. I dont think they have written any real rules surrounding her powers.
  5. This whle Iris-time sickness thing is...tiring. It only pops up when they want to address it instead of sprinkling things in there. They should've had her forget things this entire time. Why does Allegra think that meta-humans don't move? Her asking Sue how there are meta humans in Coast City was so weird. There is nothing in Particle Accelerator metas that would keep them in Central City, in fact I dont know why more don't move out considering that Flash is pretty localized. We've been playing with actual meta humans since S3 of Arrow...the fact that the Arrowverse has ignored it this long is pretty amazing. If this woman isnt a PA-Meta then how does she have dark matter? Is Iris's company ONLY focusing on metahumans? This whole thing is just weird. Why does she think that this random meta...out of ALL THE METAs that she's encountered can be or should be a superhero?
  6. Bravo doesnt let someone go based off of allegations though. Erika hasnt been found guilty of anything so getting rid of her when she finally brings conflict to the show wouldn't make sense.
  7. Decent episode, so far S4 is definitely stronger than S2/3 but sadly the writers havent learned enough from the mistakes they were part of S1-3. We still arent a show about The Charmed Ones. We are a show about 3 "witches"/Harry/Jordan. That is part that is missing and keeping the show from truly thriving. And Charmed One power usage in this episode? 0. I'm not even gonna count that little flashback "power" Mel experienced.... The writers are trying to force Maggie/Mel apart to serve these "she's angry" "she's yearning" storylines that feel disingenuous and forced for these two characters. The writers say "they are grieving in their own ways" but....it doesnt land for me. They really had to have Maggie so in the dark about Mel/Rubys relationship? They live in the same house, they dont talk anymore? Console each other over the past 6 months? Macy died and 5 seconds later a flip switched and they became strangers? Jordan is more involved in the Talleyman storyline than Mel/Kaela are, he's even doing the primary research. The SISTERS should be the ones doing these things. Apart from all of that though...I do enjoy Kaela. She's refreshing and the way they write her seems to be more well rounded than our OG characters. The Talleyman of it all seems interesting enough but I am tired of these switcheroos where the "bad guy" of the week isnt the bad guy and/or gets taken out by an outside influence. I think thats exactly it. They want Jordan to be the new and improved Whitelighter but arent willing to get rid of Harry so they're trying to send him on yet another journey to find himself.
  8. Lol that really is a teaser. a 38sec clip with only 10secs of actual characters. If they end up renewing this show, Im going to be real annoyed that they didnt just renew it during the hiatus to jump start work on S5 and cut down the hiatus between seasons.
  9. It was an ok episode but the way they set it up you could tell how it was going to go from the start. I never once doubted that whatshisname was guilty of murder and knew he'd get his happy ending. With everything Team Flash has encountered and having de-fanged Frost on their team who was also set up for a crime she didnt commit....the fact that everyone sans Barry was so "he's guilty, duh!" was....lazy writing. Imagine how easy it would've been for Iris and co. to be doing a story on meta rehabilitation or bad guys gone good and encounter this plot with one of Iris's employees doing the story and Allegra having to tag along to ensure nothing leads back to the Barry being The Flash or whatever...
  10. She might've told him that before she knew she was being killed off but he was still the one to have her utter those words on her deathbed so....she wasnt responsible for LLs last lines lol.
  11. Koche did a brand new interview with a producer on the show for their exclusive Complete series (that I love, it's so nice, even if its in German apart from the episodes lol ) His most interesting part of the interview: "Shannen was nice to almost everyday, she had script problems, always nice to the cast, she was the HEART AND SOUL OF CHARMED" That really says it all doesn't it? She viewed Charmed as her baby.
  12. Season 7 in general also sadly starts the downward spiral of the shows overall budget. Imo...once a show is forced to stop shooting on location, it's time to wrap it up. The Paramount lot is fine to use every now and then but it becomes the main place to film when out in public and no amount of redressing the street makes it look anyless cheap. Ordinary Witches really keeps playing with an annoying aspect of the show that started happening around late S5/early S6...Piper/Phoebe are switching powers and it takes its time going into one another, Zankou appears and causes their powers to run away into 2 random people nearby. It started happening with whitelighters where they are in mid orb but are still able to be harmed even though S1-4 when Leo or Paige orbs its pretty instant and objects just go straight through the orbs. Phoebe and Piper also freeze when blonde neighbor gets Pipers powers...their still witches, they cant freeze but of course the writers just forget that very important aspect. This isnt a 70s episode where they go to the past basically null and voiding everything magical about themselves. It's also interesting to note that the guy who gets premonitions is getting more premintions then Phoebe gets in an entire season lol and it's what he wants to see. It also makes zero sense as to why Phoebe is able to share the possible future Krya shared with her. It's a cool advancement to her prems but thats literally all they use it for, she can't even show it to Piper. Between Chris and the Avatars, I'm not sure how there are any pseudo-important demons left lol. They send TCO after demons left and right off screen with a tiny little potions, its just a simple throw and onto the next one. It's like a drive thru vanquish service S6-8.
  13. Im pretty sure they want to avoid all that and she wont be Marisols daughter.
  14. They have 3 new showrunners who have been vocal about how horrible they believe the show has been and how they want to change things now that they have the power to.
  15. I think it's more to do with Ana being the only planned person actually being there lol. Whoopi's supposed to be off, Eboni ran down the street when she got the call last minute. Which is hilarious because she was just on WWHL talking about how she hopes to be on The View again.
  16. While I think this episode was better than the premiere, the writers really took the easiest ways out of everything. The way they write Mickaela with her friends is how I want them to write the sisters as whole lol. In these two episodes, I got a stronger sense of "family" and friendship than I have the 3 seasons of the M-sisters time together. We have a scary Mary Poppins who hides one of Ursulas tentacles in her purse...interesting enough idea...the whole "you get punished for revealing magic" is good enough but where was this woman S1-3? They could've simply wrote it away with "the elders kept things in line and witches safe from that type of magical create (who came up with these rules anyway?) and without them, it's game on w/witches" but they went with cop out #1 Mel read about her in the OG BOS from 3 years ago (impressive memory) so she knows exactly what Mary Poppins is about...and how do the sisters defeat her? They don't. As usual with the shows, the sisters very rarely get to save the day by themselves. Cop out # 2...For some odd reason, this tentacle thing who apparently has a mind of its own, accidently HARMS a mortal and eats Mary Poppins as punishment. Mary Poppins didnt attack the friend. She didnt direct the thing towards the friend. It went towards a witch and the witch stepped out of the way...that doesn't make sense. Cop out #3 involves some friendship beads. This show really makes things way to easy with magic. You can do anything with it and there are no limitations. So now we have some enchanted beads that can locate anyone who wears it. Whatever happened to some good ol'scrying? Harry/Jordan have their entirely own adventure (sorry a sister should be leading this adventure #1) but it ends up at a cabin where Maggie and Kaela find them. The boys are in trouble...great. What happens next though? Harry has to save them by making Kaela believe in herself. Even when the girls are able to save the boys, its because the boys give a pep talk. With how long it took Kaela to draw something useful, she would be dead. The writers didn't think this power through...if anything she should manifest things accidently from will and advance it to drawings later on...and those things should have a time limit as to how long they last in the real world. Because now she can essentially create life with no consequence. Cop out #4...Kaelas friend is injured and dying. Maggie and Kaela are taking their sweet time "saving" Henry and Jordan but they get back to the command center just in time. Jordan is attempting to heal Kaelas friend but he isnt enough. THANK THE GODS they have another whitelighter in the room who can give the two for 1 healing special...why are their healing colors different? I think they should've killed the friend off tbh. At the end of the episode Kaela is finally ready to join the sisters but now Maggie isnt ready to have Kaela around...but if we rewind to the premiere...Maggie is inviting Kaela to move in with them and all 3 are sitting together. So....what gives? I will say it was SUPER NICE to see Mel use her powers in an effective way and it would've been nice to see Kaela use hers against Mary Poppins as well. I'm already tired of Maggie and her stick though. Enchanted weapons are so boring. Phoebe was a great and interesting sister in S1-4.5, she had very realistic fight scenes w/hand to hand combat but it was always a temporary measure until the 3 could get together to save the day.
  17. I never thought of it until reading your version of events but I'd have Prue unintentionally astral project to the underworld. She'd warn Leo of what just happened. Leo orbs back to the manor and is able to heal Prue & Piper but....Prue isnt waking up. Flash to Prue/Phoebe/Cole in the underworld fighting off demons trying to escape but failing endlessly. Flash to Leo/Piper, Piper freaking out about what just happened, dead doctor, unconscious Prue. Darryl calls her warning her that the cops are on the way due to all of the commotion which is stopping Piper from getting to her sisters. Prue w.out her TK, Phoebe w/no real active powers, and Cole are having a hard time fending off demons so Cole must give into his Belthazor mode to help them gain the upper advantage. They run across The Oracle which helps Phoebe get a premonition boost for mysterious reasons and she is able to get quick flashes to the future which helps them gain the upperhand. The Oracle under threat of being vanquished helps Phoebe/Cole get out of the underworld. But Prue is stuck. We come to find out that Prues astral form is stuck in the underworld as Prue isn't strong enough to Astral to that kind of location but her will to get help as she/Piper were dying got her to Leo. Prue's physical body is essentially in a coma and of course after everything that just went down 911/Cops have taken her to the hospital . This would be a 2 part Premiere. 2nd part is back to the underworld to try and get Prue back to her body with an active investigation going on throughout the season.
  18. Is this your first time watching the two? Either way you'll definitely have to keep us up to date with your thoughts. Really wish the show could get a decent remaster though I would never give up my dvds, probably some of the best produced special features of any series. I was always a little sad that her OG suit never made it to her solo series
  19. Who knows, they make it up as they go along like the OG.
  20. Which is fine but 5 days straight when she isnt even defending her past gets old real fast.
  21. Season 7 is an improvement over S6 but..the Avatar storyline is kind of weak. Ever since Leo became an Elder he essentially has gone against everything he ever believed in S1-5. Whitelighters and thus Elders are supposed to be pacifists so how the hell does Leo have a power that can kill people. There's Something About Leo is a decent episode up until The Avatars come at the end and have him rewind time because no one is able to understanding the truth. How can an Avatar save themselves when they already been hit with an Avatar killing potion? Going back wont save said Avatar or else they'd never have anything to be afraid of. Leo killing Brody was once again way out of character and the writers/Piper forget that Piper has this little power that freezes time. She easily could've frozen Brody when he was distracted by Leo. It was such a waste of an episode for Leo to reveal himself as an Avatar and reverse ALL OF IT only for THE VERY NEXT EPISODE to reveal that he's an Avatar...and the Avatars don't care. Paige went 2 seasons without any type of long term love interest to a love interest in S6 that was largely off screen to Agent Brody. The girl seems to like guys with issues lol. Brody overall is an ok character but it's a shame that the writers didnt find a better way to pair him with Darryl. Kyra was the best recurring character to happen to the show in a long time and they ruin it by killing her off. It's funny that she has info on how to kill upper level demons....what upper level demons? The ones that are dirty and look homeless? Those are what we call upper level demons nowadays?
  22. ....yeah I doubt it has to do with her being trans. They wouldnt have created the character at all if they had issues with that. Just the same reason as to why Batwoman didnt make Sophie into Batwoman and created a brand new black character to take up the mantle...Charmed is following suite. When will Maggie/Mel ever be thes one with the most knowledge in the room?
  23. I usually don't grow tired of this show but this week....has been the toughest week for me as a viewer. Normally I love Sunny but she has been full throttle this week in just about every topic. It's like she's a shark that smelled republican blood in the water and she is very hungry.
  24. While I still like Heather, I think the dynamics are really thrown off this season and she knows she was brought in to kind of Queen B it up. When she was initially brought in the show wasnt broke, it wasnt on a lifeline, they had very established HWs that held their own and she was the new girl in town. It's kind of the opposite now. Shannen is tenured but she's "poor" now and cant challenge Heather the way she did in their OG seasons together. Gina/Emily cant hold a season together and are glorified sidekicks. Heather needs someone who can challenge her wealth wise and has an actual foot on the show.
