  1. Just finished rewatching Hulkus Pocus (its taking me FOREVER to finish S8) and Phoebes premonition as we know became rather useless but it advances to the point where she can literally talk with her future self...talk about missed storyline. In fact it would've made more sense for her to survive the big fight in Forever Charmed and use her powers to force one on Patty when she's still pregnant with Phoebe and somehow time travel or do whatever, same with other versions of herself. Of course it also can work into Morality Bites where she is able to channel her premintions through others forcing them to relive the most traumatic parts of their lives or others lives.
  2. I think having Phoebe betray her sisters out of love was a good storyline imo. Even Buffy couldnt bring herself to kill Angelus at first and kept it hidden when Angel returned. It happens to the best of us. Powers yes, I pretty much believe that they gave Phoebe levitation as a gift to Alyssa and it made zero sense as opposed to how they were already discussing Prues 2nd power in s1. I went from loving Pipers 2nd power to wishing it had never become a thing with how it was used to easily solve countless demonic problems. And her constantly threatning to blow up innocents was....not a good look and something that they never even tried out. Constance put in a false safe with her original power not affecting witches, Im sure she would've done the same with the 2nd power. Paige went from a unique hybrid to just another whitelighter which pissed me off to no end. TKO/Orbing, Im cool with and then she should've gained a power that was strictly on the witch side.
  3. ...this is the end. I was expecting a stronger finale from the general hype by whatshisname since they knew it was a 50/50 chance they'd get renewed. Unfortunately this was a weak episode that was VERY rushed. We had no powers being used outside of Maggies premonition that FINALLY remembers it supposed to help them? No Power of 3 spell. Nothing that showcased how powerful they are as a unite compared to the First Charmed Ones....and did we even see their BoS one last time? The team totally throws out their own writing about the First Charmed Ones just to have them reunite as if it is this easy thing that could've been done whenever. They were cursed and those curses suddenly dont matter A DAMN. How does a demon get to the Tree Charmed One? She's in a magical tree locked away in a place that only Charmed Ones have access to. How could she be kidnapped? And then she stays around because she has a lot of anger to work out which is fine but...its a TOTALLY different change from literally all of her former appearances. Why did the traveling Charmed One leave the deserts on the road? And how long were Macy/Kaela walking on the road in the middle of nowhere before they get to a bowling alley? We go from this threat of the "evil" Charmed One to "Oh no! There's a MAGICAL BOMB thats going to go off that we knew NOTHING ABOUT in the original timeline!" Maggie/Mel/Kaela are ready to sacrifice themselves to stop this bomb but the OGs are like "we are going to do our duty and sacrifice ourselves like we were supposed to" because working out your issues in 5 mins over a 10,000 year absence really works. 90% of Maggie/Jordans relationship has happened off screen and for some reason we skip ahead some months to them ready to move in together? The sisters were already glorified roommates and now the plan was to split them up even more? Just destroy the house cause it has zero sentimental value tbh. The video store is suddenly all glitchy for no apparent reason and VHS lady's storyline is wrapped up off screen where she just leaves a note on a new door that leads to the OG-verse. How did she get home? Why didnt they have her bring them to the OG-verse, get a jingle from the Elders and Orb away in the classic Orbs? Thats an easy callback. Them being on the steps of Halliwell manor was cool, it was nice and the series ending the OG way was a good send off for the most part. But they easily could've had SOMEONE open the door. TCO ended up having a million off-spring. Use one of them lol. Sadly, I was disappointed as a finale/series finale. It was true to itself because the "sisters" didn't do much to actually save the entire universe or beat anyone.
  4. I think its better than S3 but why only 1 couple gets a semi well rounded story compared to everyone else? well..
  5. The YJ finale....Was it a bad episode? No. But the battle....annoyed and bored me. You mean to me that we have ALL these heroes and they all show up at the end? Everything was to convenient and im tired of Miss M being able to take down anyone. It's played out by now. The group manages to send most to the phantom zone but they ultimately get bested by the villains again? Hated that reveal. If we get another season i hope that SuperMartian take a back seat as a couple as they've dominated it since s1 with plenty of relationship drama. The end reveal was great. Hopefully if we get a s5 it doesn't play out like i think it will.
  6. How did I know that Allegra would once again get a new power upgrade in order to survive this episode? So many repeated bits of dialogue, it felt like I was watching a basic childs show.
  7. This was a very rushed episode and it'll be interesting to see how they wrap up everything next week. The last 15min or so were the best part of the episode and some of the best 15mins of the season with the 3 CO working together. While I'm not sure why Mels final act couldn't be sending Maggie/Kaela back to the past....Maggie having to take her dying sisters power was dramatic enough. The promo for the finale...I see they are visiting Halliwell manor. Now if they get ANYONE from the OG show, we will see.
  8. How many times has she had to deal with him messing up time though for his own selfish needs?
  9. Didn't he mainly work with the future gang in s7?
  10. Grant probably gave his number but that doesnt mean CW will give them that amount.
  11. Yeah. Her Charmed One has the power the premonition and saw what will happen. It's definitely Phoebe since the showrunner has been liking tweets about it being her.
  12. Madeline warned them she was leaving what? 6-8 episodes before they were to film the finale? And they ignored it until the very end. They just suck at taking notices.
  13. Well as usual, its a decent episode by the shows standard but one that is yet again played out the wrong way imo. In their need to make us accept Kaela as a Charmed One when she isnt related to the Vaughns, they went one step forward and made the OG Charmed Ones just 3 random witches. It totally lessons being Charmed and very generic imo. It makes it zero reason as to why the Vaughns were Charmed. They never had a sisterhood, Any 3 witches could've become the new Charmed Ones by this shows standard. They say that Kaela is their sister because of Macys stem cells but she isnt. They say that Kaela is 'Charmed' because of a destiny but that doesn't make things any better for their explanation as to why anyone else receiving Macys stem cells wouldn't become a witch and be Charmed. As always, this is an episode that didnt need 4 plots. Mel didn't need to go all Phoebe on us and go "my romantic life trumps the end of the world". They teased a connection to the OG series and that might as well be the tease lol. This episode should've had TCO going to the past and encountering other Charmed Ones in various time periods leading them to the revelation that the big bad is one of the first Charmed Ones while Harry deals with this multiverse of Charmed VHS. TCO at the end was very corny and reminded me of The Evil Queen from Snow White lol. The preview showing SHOCKER...TCO have lost their powers AGAIN. Wow. The 9 magical tribes came together to defeat the big evil, made the bowl which helped create TCO who in turn banished the evil. Then one of them wanted to basically give everyone the power? And the other 2 friends were like "no...that wont work out" so they banished her and she became bitter over time and decided "why does everyone need power when I can just have all of it to myself!" TheCW warned all of their shows about possible cancellation and advised them to gear towards series finales so this finale should wrap things up enough for a series finale while leaving things open enough for a S5 if they had gotten one.
  14. It was a great episode and definitely had me on the edge of my seat. But im kind over Martians...they are just SO DAMN POWERFUL that it makes it hard to keep things exciting when they show up.
  15. Barry comes into Caitlins lab and goes ALL LIGHTNING on the place and leaves Caitlin with the mess? He could've just sped everything out of there and left it empty. Dramatic.
  16. Did we seriously just spend an episode on "the bad guy of the week WANTS TO MAKE EVERYONE OLD!!" ?
  17. US Blu-ray coming. No new packaging through
  18. Srry Ava but you just made the wrong decisions imo with this series.
  19. As long as Conner is brought back where there is a Yellow Sun, he should be able to survive and regroup pretty quickly. Not sure why we have to bring in the Infinity group this late in the game or Halo. The Outsiders are just being ignored and I rather get more of them.
  20. This was a pretty bad episode. Probably the worst of the season. The writers played fast and loose with it and did not go deep enough on what should've been the main plot...the big insurrection. This is not the episode where give Roxie her own subplot about her lover that we've already learned about and moved on from. Especially when you are wanting to pair her up with Mel but you just gotta plant seeds for the drama that is there for ZERO reason. This is not the episode where you have Harry on his own subplot in the land of the dead with another whitelighter. This is the big episode before the finale where bad things happen and TCO are front and center fighting for their lives. But we didnt get that. Its a subplot within the episode. Their powers are taken away (shocker) and they have like 2 scenes of some type of actual struggle. And thats just Macy/Mel who need to get a message to Kaela/Dev for assistance. Dev is the 2nd best character they introduced behind Kaela this seasons of course they end that romance by killing him...off screen but not right before he is able to essentially save TCOs by giving them their powers back (because once again..the sisters are never given the autonomy to truly save themselves) The end was even more of a jumbled mess. Are we supposed to really believe that: Dev is dead and our Whitelighter Jr. just stands there and tries NOTHING to heal him? See if there's any semblance of life? Mel regains her powers, sees Dev is dead and doesnt think about using her powers to go warn her sisters of the upcoming doom and gloom or save Dev? That the Book of Shadows is so UNESSETIONAL that they dont notice that it is even gone? That somehow Dev is dead, they leave Kaela to weep and what seems to be the same exact night...Mel goes to have sex with Roxie and Maggie w/Jordan (or a cuddle) and then they are both fully dressed and finally consoling her? I still cant get over how bland the fight was. But I will give them a point for actually ending the episode on the 3 of them which is something that very rarely happens.
  21. Why is Flash re-playing the Laurel of it all? It was a bad storyline then and its a bad storyline now. This whole Iris thing is tiresome and the show is playing it wrong. Dont bring Barry into the boring Still-Force. He should be traveling to different time periods once an episode, teaming up with heroes looking for Iris. Make it actually exciting and a true mini arc/comic arc.
  22. Yes, actually one of the more interesting minor storylines on the OG surprisingly lol. The doctor injected himself with all 3s powers and ended up going crazy.
  23. It 100% has to do with the future of the CW being under new ownership
  24. While its sad it got cancelled...Ava did not do right by the property imo. Her changes make the first season very bland. The last scene of Naomi flying was straight out 2005.
  25. The writers weren't sure of a s5 so they wrote their own Something Wicca This Way Goes type ending. Wraps up some things while leaving the door open for more stories.
