That house was in the city proper, but couldn't place exactly where, my guess is Northside, near Edison or Jefferson Park. The giveaway is the street signs, green with white lettering means Chicago. The collar suburbs around Chicago will have different distinctly colored street signs. Lots of pockets within the city which are more residential and less congested, not to mention more affordable, than downtown. Houses with front and back yards and are within walking distance of schools and parks. Most areas will have districts with restaurants, bars, and shopping that are walkable as well.

I caught this doc on demand last night. At first I was conflicted by their close friends sharing something they both went to great lengths to keep private. However, I found it really lovely. It was clearly a special event and the love on that porch during the rehearsal and in the chapel was palpable. I find myself haunted by the image of their dance and the poem Senator Kennedy shared at the wedding. Truly a tragic story. May they rest in peace.

Does anyone else think its part El? The piece of the Mind Flayer that was stuck in her leg ran off without being caught or killed right? Might also explain her loss of powers.

I think she as wearing a flipper. They didn't look right and then in the reveal scene, there was a close up shot and you could see the where the flipper met her normal teeth on the side. Beautiful house though. I would have picked it too.

We built a similar playhouse under our basement stairs in our previous house. At the time we moved, our kids were 8 & 11, They moved in some old yoga mats and a bunch of blankets and pillows and would crawl in to read books or play on an iPad. We converted the house to a rental and that playhouse sold the couple who were moving in with a two year old.

I do love Juicy Joe, but this is so true. I feel like he was operating under the assumption that if he wasn't a US citizen he couldn't/wouldn't be prosecuted under US laws, or that he could just flee to Italy, but then reality hit (in more ways than one). My husband is a naturalized citizen and as such, we have close ties to his immigrant culture in our city. There are many, many cases of individuals who's green cards have lapsed or have not been renewed for far less than what Juicy has under his belt. These are people with American kids and wives too. Its awful to see families torn apart but Joe had a long time to secure his status and his family.

I watched last night and then barely slept. Honestly, its harsh but I don't know how her parents live with themselves. Absolutely they were manipulated but my goodness, they were complaisant. I get it was a different time but there were those who did get an understanding that they were dealing with a dangerous man, thinking of the man who went on the boat trip and the other unnamed families who cut off access to their children. Jan is amazing for coming through this "okay" and it seems , maintaining a relationship with her parents. I was sobbing as she described how she would focus on the leaves and then her realization on her 16th birthday at how she had been manipulated.

She's usually just "there", but the other Erica's reactions to meeting Evan Dando were hysterical!
