  1. I also agree about Rory's brain when guys were involved. She would regress to believing their ideas or situations without question. Their influence on Rory was like she had no free will of her own and that was something that really drove me nuts with all of her boyfriends or men in her life. From Richard to her own father. It isn't the process of constantly projecting their thought process onto Rory where she was worn down and decided to just agree to it. With Jess it was his "whatever" attitude that made Rory not think. Or Dean's: "Poor me" attitude or Logan's: "Live dangerously while you are young" attitude. Did Jess do something stupid telling Rory to hold the wheel? Oh yes, however the accident was so routine that it could have happened to everyone. There was Lorelai's reaction that made sense and then there was SH acting like Jess killed someone in broad daylight. That was way over the top and I agree that was a major strike in S2 or that Chris magically got another woman pregnant and all the craziness that happened at Sookie and Jackson's wedding. Those are my main strikes on an almost perfect season.
  2. Sadly, even in situations like this, it takes awhile to get the courts to fix the situation. Similar to Sarah's former abusive boyfriend who got let out of rehab and they warned her that he was coming. No fact that maybe he shouldn't have been released if he was still a danger to her and others. Hopefully, she can have someone of a normal life now with it over.
  3. I got Maggie's point, why wouldn't she be broken up by it or be angry on them at the same time. However, I agree her parents deciding to stay together for 11 years because their adoptive child lived close by while she was a resident and fresh out of medical school. I could understand a year or two but after that, no sorry. The only parents of any of the other characters who seem to have a healthy marriage at any point were Arizona's and Miranda's parents. Everyone else either died, cheated on or were major jerks. Bailey's dad almost went there until he realized his daughter was right. He almost went in that territory years ago because he felt that Bailey chose to help nobody's over trying to save her own marriage to Fletcher. Which in the long run, I sided with Miranda because she tried. Arizona's dad was a close second since he didn't even went to have a moment of silence for his son who died in the line of duty at his daughter's own wedding. What was that about? Remember in the Grey's universe happy family's do no exist.
  4. That's how I always saw it. Lane did you know, have independent thoughts, she was going to like things her mother never was going to. I just hated the fact when it was revealed that Mrs. Kim had been doing the same for over 20 years to her own mother and Lane and Zach seeing it were in shock. It made her mother come off a the biggest hypocrite. I never felt sorry for her I wanted to go: "So, you didn't want to be like your mother, yet you did the same to your own child." "Yeah, that really made sense." *rolls eyes*
  5. I know, especially when shows do forced cliffhangers. I know Dallas started the trend, Star Trek: The Next Generation took them to a new level but they are now tired. There is leaving things open and then there is just giving a big middle finger to the fans and audience of the show.

That's exactly it, especially in his last two appearances it was just to use him for whatever reason and Jared was free for filming and he wanted a paycheck. There are many show runners who do that even if the character being in the episode makes no sense what so ever and yet they do it. The actor doesn't have a problem, it's a paycheck.
  7. Yeah, I've heard that too and many schools go: "It's their last year and month in high school, let them have a day." I remember mine too, really enjoyed it but I still had to mow the lawn but I went out with some friends, saw an early movie, did a bike ride across the long trails in my town. It was a lot of fun but one classmate of mine didn't because he has no car or anything. He was put on TA duty in the office and he hated it, said he could have just stayed home and watched TV.
  8. I see that Maggie's adoptive parents weren't invincible to the spouse cheats and the couple stays together for a very petty reason that has been rampant through Grey's and even Private Practice for the last 11 years. Her argument that she was a grown woman and if it was 11 years and given Maggie being the super puzzle whisper genius, it means that she was done with med school and as resident when it was going on. Hence, no reason to separate since: "It was for the kids" excuse. Especially when she was out on her own but she lived in the same area, hence they had to keep it going. That is right up there with Addison's parents who stayed together because her dad loved her mother but he could go sleep with whoever he wanted but he would never leave her and vice versa. Even more it was going on since they were kids and both Addy and her brother knew it. Yet the truth comes out when the kids were in their late 30s but oh no, blame dad. Here it is the reversal with Maggie's mom and the fact it went on for 11 YEARS! I was very happy with Baily laying the smack down on Steph, she was right, this is her job and she can't ignore it, Yang did that and look what happened that first year because she cared more about surgery than teaching. Christina learned in the end but I do get sick of these stories. Not everyone is a great teacher or mentor but you can't just yell at your interns and hope they learn. You have to show them, you have to talk to them even in a crisis. That's what a teacher does. I still think the intern messing up the collar brace was still a moron. He is a surgical intern, he still had to do an internship in the medical field before he graduated, he would know that you don't remove a collar brace until you know for a fact it is safe to do it. He came off like a kid wanting to play baseball and didn't know you had to catch the ball. He is still a doctor! Duh! The rest, it was ok, soft reboot and yes Jackson and April, she just doesn't want to deal with the death of Sam so her plan is just busy with work. Never mind how it is killing your husband because it was: HIS KID TOO!
  9. Something they really have to do after this is have Haley drop the entire: "Nerds have no life" attitude. Its old, her younger sister is going away to college on a scholarship while she works for a complete jerk and lives in her parents basement. She needs to lose the HS attitude, if she wants to think life is still like that, then she can go with Luke back to HS along with Manny and see how fast that lasts. I loved Manny calling out Gloria why he is thought he is a momma's boy not to mention his outlook on life. Gloria really hasn't learned.
  10. Really enjoyed the episode especially the shadows in the theatre, that was cracking my family up. I completely saw Phil's point, there are many people who go: "Well, I've been very blessed and successful but this is very meaningful to me." I remember a few years ago, I was taking a walk and I passed by this park which stands where this beautiful church stood for decades. Their furnace ignited and turned the place down. I remember going by a few weeks later and seeing the destruction and remembering all my bike rides past it growing up and remembering how peaceful it was in the area. While still a peaceful place, when I see the memorial playground where the church once was, it still gets me. You truly miss things when they are gone when you had good memories of it. I also think Alex going to college will be the best for them both. I really enjoyed all the stories tonight, they all hit the mark.
  11. We did meet their dad and found out Murray's bad habits like his losing of his pants and eating habits came from him. I really be interested in finding out where Murray's mom went, we know she walked out on them all when they weren't even teens yet. Be a great story if she all of a sudden decided to come back and see her grandchildren who are basically grown up now.
  12. Great finale but I agree, you could tell they didn't know if it was coming back or not but now that its been revealed to be the #4 comedy on air, I think we are good. Too bad for Repeat After Me. Take that over another season of Grey's any day.
  13. I agree and they want to try out yet another new series as a result. LMS hasn't had a series last past season 1 while their ratings have dropped each season even though season 2 was a big drop due to the cast change with Kristin/Boyd/Ryan and changing it from Tuesday to Friday nights (still a very stupid decision). Many critics have said though it came down to money most likely. The show returns around October, goes straight into sweeps, celebrates 100 episodes, syndication money comes in and then Tim Allen still works with Disney for Toy Story 4 or related films. Season 3 was such a great improvement over season 2 by cutting down screen time with the NU cast but then here this season several episodes have no conclusion. They just finish with everything in the air such as: anti-vaccine, the wedding, Eve's friend, Mandy's business, Kyle being a doormat. Or the story lines come from out of nowhere and look like a good set up but then they just abandon them because they can't right it such as: Ed's girlfriend's miscarriage, Eve's sports and feeling she hates having to fill in the boy role in the family, Vanessa quitting her job to be a teacher saying it was "her dream" because Ryan had to be a moron. Add in Ryan being a bigger idiot, Boyd can't act, NuKristin is an even bigger idiot who is better showing off her boobs than having a story line. Mandy and Kyle get dumber and dumber by the episode. Add in Mike's constant political views that would have gotten him arrested. The neighbors border line racial or people destroying the Baxter's property and they get blamed for it. Season 5 is going to be be an uphill watch this year.
  14. Its amazing the egos of some show runners like Marlowe, Lorre, Hampton or Rhymes. They come off thinking they know better than anyone and then either don't admit that things didn't work out as they planned or they just don't want to try and write "good stories" or character development. I mean it was like with Espo in the finale, he still was doubting Castle after working together for 7 years. Having a body double that broke into police HQ. Impersonated his then girlfriend, tried to kill Castle and his long time friend. Yet he still goes: "Come on, Castle is a moron!" Its call not caring because you know you are in charge and the fans can go jump in the lake. It gets old but it will continue to play with whatever show Marlowe and those like him are running. I'm happy Stanna is back but I agree, season 8 should be it for everyone.
  15. I completely agree, say what you will but many people get divorced in office and then rerun or run in a new position and get elected all the time. Eli (The Kings) can say whatever he wants. There is no reason for JM to be the "Good Wife" anymore. Even the kids are tired of it. Alicia's mom said it best: "Just divorce and move on. It be better for you both in the long run." Most likely next year will be the final year for the show and really, they should divorce at the end and move on.
  16. I really enjoyed it but yes, I felt that we needed more set up for the crazy serial killer doctor. I like when Espo and Ryan said how the doctor was a family man and nothing really at all. Yeah, because over the course of how many decades have people like that turned out to crazy killers. Never change boys. I will say that scene in the office was very chilling when he explained about masks. I would have enjoyed this as a two parter and gotten a bit more explanation on his motivation, especially feeling he had to put crosses on these women's faces. Not to mention that in 30 years he slipped up now with one of the women getting away. The death scene and the shattering of the mask was great. Reminded me of when Tyson got shot and he turns to Castle and realizes that he lost in that moment. I really enjoyed the symbolism but yes, more like a series finale than season. Happy with no stupid cliffhanger.

Yep and I could even seeing that be a better story line because it would have seen Dean come off as trapped and if you wanted to go further. Show Lorelai reflecting on what happened with her and Chris. That she felt trapped and did what she did but also knew that right there was why Chris and her didn't work. She felt he wasn't ready because said it best to Lorelai: "I guess this means we have to get married now." I still am shocked that they didn't force them to get married when Lorelai was still pregnang with Rory instead of waiting until after. In fact even when Lorelai took off with Rory it seemed that the idea of marriage between the two was an after thought.
  18. That was what I was trying to make the point. The show continues to stereo type "nerds" and school administrators and that goes right here. Just like the principal is basically trying to avoid being bullied by their parents to make this so only one and just one of them can be the VC. I took PE fitness my senior year but I was working on weight training and I had finished my foreign language requirements during my sophomore year so I had the open credit. I could have just passed on on PE my senior year but I was really getting into health training and boy I did look good as a result and guess what? I was horrible at sports but I could bench press 250 lbs by the end of my senior year and run the mile in 12 minutes. Yet, here we are once again told, if you are smart you can't be athletic and grades just magically have a hole in them. With Alex and Sanjay's overachievement? Please.
  19. Also the timelines don't work well either. If Peter had gone next season as governor and then decided for president, that would have been fine. However, he is one year of elections, one year in office and then he's off campaigning/election the next season and then in the seat again. SA to governor was more fitting since SA's are only in office usually 2 years. Because you know Eli, he has to have one person running for a high end office so he has something to do with his life. Like I said, I rather both Zach and Grace tell Peter and Alicia to just end the crap and get divorce and be done with it. They aren't little kids anymore and basically they've lived as children of a divorce couple for almost four years now.
  20. Its like with ABC deciding last minute to renew Last Man Standing. They did it over getting syndication since the show is just 5 episodes away from 100 and making sure Disney keeps Tim Allen in their good graces. Because this past season has been just like Good Wife. Story lines that went on forever with no resolution or quick tie up and characters being written to fit the plots. I know actors are people just trying to make a living like everyone else but sometimes the networks have to say to themselves: "Can't we do better?"
  21. I was also angry with how the police situation went. That should have gone back to what happened with Cary's arrest because that was basically what happened to him. The dirty detective denied him his phone calls, put him in the system without a second thought and his excuse: "You guys think you know the law? You don't and we are sick of it." These cops do the same, keep changing their stories and also denied the judge not once but twice. They were screwed from the beginning and it came down to: "We were doing our jobs." Oh please! I know it was based on a situation that happened in Boston a couple of years ago but they got caught because a new cop did allow a person to make his phone call and outed the entire cover up as a result after it had been happening for years. Which was what happened here with the younger cop conflicted that what his staff sergeant and staff were doing was wrong. That what has really made me want to stop watching the last couple of years. The lawyers from Castro to Geneva to the police detective to even Keating. These guys would have all been disbarred or stripped of their badge years ago. They keep getting caught and shown to do illegal things. Yet an episode later they are right back doing the underhanded stuff come on they aren't super villains escaping from prison all the time. They are suppose to be people who do the wrong thing because they think its for the right reasons.
  22. I wanted that to be Lorelai and Emily and Richard's wake up call with Rory in those last two seasons. You can't force your child to be what you want them to be but at the same time, you can't be their best friend and not say: "This isn't a good thing to do." Especially when you watch the series as a whole from beginning to end. Everything was there and sadly the characters didn't grow or learn from it. Same goes with the supporting cast members. Taylor got more and more with his way or hte highway even when could have gotten people killed. Luke was turned into a doormat who was too afraid to speak about what was bothering him. Kirk did things that could have gotten himself arrested. Sookie became more and more demanding of everything when it didn't meet her view of things. Emily felt she had to control the world with her view or it would fall apart. Don't get me started on Dean, Paris and Christopher. I could be here all day.
  23. What a mess of a season finale. I have seen some bad seasons on TV but this one really was horrible. Not just the lack of how the storylines weren't complete but right up to Archie's departure from the show and this horrible split screen CGI. I am glad that Finn is gone too, in theory and early work, it clicked but now... its just bad and now Keating being Alicia's new partner to stick it to Cary and Co. I'm sorry, I'm done. I have always loved Michael J. Fox but really, Keating should be dead by now and the only people who love using him are the Kings because they don't want the story to die. I also want to knock Peter and upside the head. Grace said it best: "Are you going to still pretend you are married?" They aren't little kids anymore and Zach knows who is father is. I can deal with Peter being governor and the Kings want to now move away since Rouner is now in charge of IL (God helps us all). There is no way you can convince us with the history of the show that Keating's wife wasn't a mole or something. I'm on Cary and David's side, they are tired of it just like Diane was tired of the entire Lemon Bishop. I got a kick out of them trying to have it where we think we would have a scene with Kalinda and Bishop. He is way too busy filming A.K.A Jessica Jones and then after a month break he will be filming the Luke Cage series that will run during the fall season. Plus, he will be on Iron Fist and the Defenders series, he's a busy guy for the next two years with only the summers off. Even if next season is the last for TGW, he probably be in just one episode or two for his trial or to end up dead or they will pull a Will and have him played by another actor with the shadows covering his face all the time. JM, I always wanted to be in acting when I was younger and many of my former classmates have worked with you but seeing how everything went down since you were made a producer. I'm happy I never got into the business. You are like the assistant manager who wants things their way and can do no wrong even though you get other people fired or want to quit because of creating a hostile work space but you are the star of the show. So, everyone kisses your butt and the show suffers as result.
  24. The show finally reached a deal for a 5th season. I figured, since after this season it will make the syndication schedule as a result. However, there is going to be a change in executive producers. Hopefully, the change will mean episodes need to have conclusions. Because from the way this season ended, we will either have Ryan and Kristin now married or not.
  25. Because she existed and threw Christopher's life out of balance the way Straube and Francine wanted him to be. That's what everyone always did, gave Chris and excuse instead of: "It takes two to make a baby and then you didn't even bother trying to be more in her life." "That's all on you." But nope, Rory's fault which was how Straube went to his grave. It was everyone else's fault but Chris.
