S02.E06: All Wrong/S02.E07 The Turnover Day
Shrek replied to TexasGal's topic in Below Deck Down Under
As you say Kevin Spacey is an innocent man so why shouldn't he be making movies now? Luke isn't an innocent man as what he did is on film & seen by however many people have watched it, as such it will certainly follow him in the yachting world where he will no doubt find it hard getting employment. He won't be remembered anywhere else as he will probably go back to the obscurity from which he came & deservedly so. There's a saying in the UK that today's frontpage news is tomorrow's chip wrapper so whatever the modern equivalent is will apply here. -

Then it would be a scripted show & not a reality show. It would certainly surprise me if it was scripted & even more so given what transpired. Manipulative maybe and in some cases highly likely but that is a long way from your previous statement of scripted. Although most of the people on these shows are highly likely to be easily manipulated I don't think Luke was manipulated in any way to do what he did. -
100% it looks that way. And the stupidverse or whatever it is gives them the ability to change things up if she is on the block to help her stick around.
-
And it's a much better show than hot bench ever was. Her son seems like a switched on guy when it comes to smelling bullshit & he doesn't hold back on pointing things out.

S06.E10: Sex, Lies, and Videotape

Judging by the accounts she follows on social media she is taken in by any old bullshit that comes her way so the fact that she is sticking with him is no surprise as ignoring red flags and being unable to admit she made a mistake is in her DNA. -
There's good & bad in all heath care systems but at least she wouldn't have the added worry of having to pay for it as well as recovering, if she is close to any sort of health care of course.

Yeah it was very strange. Made me wonder how people who have these destination weddings in Mexico manage because both the US & UK governments would just laugh at you if you asked for a "new" birth certificate with a use by date on it so that it was still valid. I guess I'm just dense because I don't understand how anyone ever gets married there that doesn't live there or was born there.
-
I just saw last week's episode yesterday. What are they on about with her birth certificate being out of date according to Mexican authorities? Surely everyone everywhere only gets one birth certificate & it's only out of date once the person who's certificate it is expires.
-
Not yet but it's on my watch list, hoping it's half as funny as "The Righteous Gemstones".
-
Reminds me of the first time I saw the Trumpy Bear commercial and thought "okay that's a funny skit" only to find out it was real, the same with Pooph. Looks like fun for sure.

I think he would benefit immensely from a good hard kick in the nuts. -
Yes on Mondays or anytime on the A&E ap.

Yes but that happened yesterday (your spoiler) while the ad pictured was from before then. And it wasn't just a random woman it was her "friend" & we've all seen how she treats friends previously so it's not like this would have been the reason. There's a link on the Angela & Michael thread about it so you're not spoiling anything. Hopefully TLC are now done with this awful excuse for a human being. -
Have you tried the A&E streaming ap ? That's where I watch it but I'm not sure if you need a cable tv account or have to pay if not.

S02.E05: Everyone Everywhere All at Once
Shrek replied to Tanukisan's topic in Below Deck Down Under
Loved that show but it never came back here in the USA. I know there is a British version as well as an Australian version and probably a few other countries as it started somewhere in Europe like a lot of US shows. Probably something to do with the shows network not wanting their shows dissed & not allowing their shows to be disparaged in any way despite the fact that it works both ways and not everyone likes the same thing. There were shows discussed on the show that I wouldn't have even considered watching had it not been for The People's Couch. -
I'm enjoying the second season & maybe the problem you're having is that you only just binge watched the first season and are suffering from SOP burnout. As for doubting some of the stories, I'm sure that the truth is out there somewhere between what the mother & daughter are saying but there have been plenty of reasons to doubt that either one is the whole truth rather just their truth as they see it. It does appear that Sondra bounced from one extreme to the other with her second marriage being to a controlling strict religious type and she no doubt suffers from some sort of trauma from that.

S05.E04: Mad About What You Said
Shrek replied to Scarlett45's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way
I'm guessing she shops for clothes at Forever 21 or as a coworker termed it "Sluts R Us", which was a joke after seeing some of the clothes that they sell & is not a comment on Holly. -

In fairness to @Tango64 he/she did say normal person which would automatically count out anyone on 90 day anything and especially the short, huge assed coconut kicker that is Daniele. -
I've thought the US version should follow the Australian model for a few years now, the US show is now a shadow of its original self and if it's drama they really want then change it up.
-
Because it's more of a slow burn set across centuries than a wham bang explosion of action to grab your attention.

The pants are awful, they just look like grubby white jeans that have been worn for too long & could do with a good wash. -

I don't think it matters when they were taken or when she became a teacher, pearl clutchers are going to clutch their pearls regardless of the timelines.
