  1. I noticed it the other episode when Greg went snooping in Angela's purse. I thought it was weird Angela would leave her purse on her own couch. Usually women have an out of the way spot at home where they keep those things. Angela, I think keeps hers in the closet so right then I figured they might have been in Greg's apt.
  2. Let me just say that I love that Terrelle Pryor (Sr.) is finally getting some love. I thought he got a raw deal based off of some bs college stuff. But his perseverance and willingness to do whatever it takes to stay on the field especially switching positions from QB to WR is commendable (looking at you Tim Tebow). The guy did damn near everything yesterday. I hope he continues to do well...I mean, as much as he can playing for the Browns, and can get a big contract next season somewhere.
  3. Where do I start? I guess I'd go for the most shocking scene for me....which was when that dummy (since there were so many dummies in this episode, I'll specify by saying Tariq) got "caught" trying to sell guns and Jukebox was in the cop car. I was like ooohh shit. Question though....where did she get an NYPD cop car? She's a cop in DC isn't she? Whatever, that was a minor plot distraction. A part of me wishes Kanaan really did set Tariq up, because that boy needs to be straightened out. And it goes to show, he really has no idea how privileged he is, when Jukebox and the other goon were asking him about his living situation and he was like "naw we don't have a door, we have an elevator". It was just the way he said it, like it was nothing. Dummy #2. Greg. Greg Greg Greg. I mean, why the fuck would you let Mike know you knew he was the leak.....without your gun, with no other witnesses or anyone else knowing. I thought at the very least, when he reached out his hand he was gonna try to scratch Mike so he could get Mike's dna on him and/or get his dna on Mike. That would have redeemed him a little bit after getting himself killed. But nope, he went out like a dummy. Tsk. Dummy #3. Ghost. This guy has been soo fucking sloppy for so long now. Why the hell would he take off his glove, leave the window unlocked AND touch the window with his bare hands. It's very fitting that he looks to be going down for a murder he didn't commit after he's gotten away with killing so many people before. Oh and I'm sure he left some dna on Lobos while they were tussling in the woods too. One good thing..Milan is dead. I was waiting for Ghost and Tommy to finally take his ass out. People talk too damn much when they're about to kill somebody. Geeez. All in all this was a good season. It kills me that the seasons are so short. But I guess it allows for every episode to pack a big punch.
  4. Saw this the other day. Great movie. I was surprised to see how much of a hard time the NTSB gave to Sully. I mean, the man performed a successful water-landing and saved everybody. The fact that it took those simulator pilots 17 tries to get it right should have been enough "facts" to prove Sully made the right decision. My friend and I were saying how the stars pretty much aligned for those passengers. Like who better to be your pilot in such a crisis than Sully? So many years of experience, calm cool and collected. Having taken off from LaGuardia with the Hudson at your disposal so to speak. If this had happened in some other state, how many would have such a large area (obviously not populated) for the plane to land? And then of course as the poster above said, that day the water was pretty calm giving them a better chance to land safely. One thing that I wanted to know was how did the NTSB figure out how the left engine was damaged (there was some thought that maybe the engine was still operable, but because it had separated from the plane they weren't able to find out quick enough.) Well when they did find it, how could they decifer if the damage came from the bird strike or the landing?
  5. Well we probably would be 0-3 right now....at the very best 1-2....so yeah. This game was entirely on the players. The center....the freaking center gets tossed for 2 unsportsmanlike penalities. Beckham gets a costly penalty to negate a big gain. Bad bad bad Eli showed up today...what did he end up with 2 or 3 interceptions?...the last one which ended the game. And I haven't even gotten into Vereen's fumble; another bone headed penalty from a guy on special teams....I dont even know the player's name....it negated a blocked punt which would have had us with 1st and Goal inside the 10. Instead the Redskins got to replay 4th down and kick away. Soo many penalties and stupid decisions by the players. If anything I guess I can blame the coach for not having the team more mentally prepared, but at the end of the day it's like come on. They're grown men...and not to quote Belicheck...but do your freaking job! If we end up losing the division by a game this will be the one.
  6. Exactly. As soon as I saw Meredith cooking up lies to cover for Alex, I said "sooo, are they planning to kill DeLuca?" Maybe disconnect some wires or something, because otherwise whats the point in lying? This! I'm seeing a lot of "well other characters have done terrible things and been forgiven so let's do the same for Alex". No, fuck Alex. Out of 13 seasons I've probably only liked him for 3. He's a douche who has always been mad at the world because of his rough childhood and has taken it out on anyone who was in his line of sight. I had to laugh at him playing psychologist with Jo when they finally met up at the hospital, telling her it's not her fault, it's the way she was raised and its easy for her to throw people away or whatever. Like dude, how about you get YOUR issues straightened out before you go around doling out life advice to people who didn't even ask for it. Asshole. My first question as a prosecutor would be, "if you thought you were protecting your girlfriend, why did it take you X amount of time to go talk to the police?" And assuming the police investigated the matter thoroughly and spoke to the other doctors about Karev's demeanor that night (and his overall personality and whatever else they might ask)....another question would be why did he tell Ben that the injuries to his hand were sustained in a fall? (I highly doubt Ben would lie to the cops for Karev, considering they're not that close and Ben just came off of being in his own messy situation.) Oh, how soon we forget Callie and Amelia. Lmaoo. Maggie is at worst 3rd on the list. And thats if we're only counting people who are still alive. On the ALL-TIME self-centered list, Maggie doesn't even crack top 5. I'm not even sure why Maggie is getting so much flack. I saw the comments here before watching the episode and assumed Maggie had flown into a rage in the middle of the hospital as everything was going down. Imagine my surprise when the conversation occurred at home and it was Meredith who approached Maggie. They had a pretty calm discussion....no yelling or irrational thoughts. Maggie was simply expressing her feelings and how she felt hurt by Meredith lying. And clearly (surprisingly) Meredith knew she was wrong and apologized. Said she wouldnt do it again (even though she did like 5 minutes later...but whatever.). I actually liked the scene with Meredith and Maggie...it was very adult of both of them. It's not soapy at all. There are dozens of real life cases where people have died from being punched only once. One documentary I saw was about a high school kid who got into a fight. He punched another kid and the boy fell to the ground. He hit his head so hard on the concrete the medical examiner assumed the boy had taken blows to the head from a baseball bat or something similar. So had the writers gone this route, it would have actually been very realistic.
  7. Right. Until he actually crosses it. I actually picked Houston to win this game and I don't want to believe I did so *just* because I loathe everything about the Patriots. Because really, if you're a team poised to go deep into the playoffs then you should be able to beat a team who's using their THIRD string QB, and with a couple other key pieces not healthy or even starting. At the very least the game should be competitive. The fact that it wasn't speaks more on Houston (and Arizona in Game 1). The Pats are in the other teams heads. The whole league is choking! I guess maybe I should be hoping for another undefeated season by the Pats so they can lose in the Superbowl again. That would be really nice.
  8. The way Tariq shoplifted those kicks makes me think it wasnt his first time. He was just too cool about it. I'm sure he and his other rich friends have probably done it on a dare or something. I did wonder though why the Jimmy Jazz helper brought 2 pairs of sneakers out? Tariq only asked for one size. I guess it was just a way to move the scene along much like Greg finding Angela's business card in Mama Tommy's trash can even though it was days later. Speaking of Angela. What a dummy. I mean really. The only thing i'll give her credit for is that she recorded her meetup with Ghost when he gave her the phone, so she can prove that she wasn't the mole. But still walking around with the burner phone and then bringing it to Greg's apt? Stupid. I was cheering him on. Like thats right Greg, play the shit out of her. I cant imagine Angela was really believing what Greg was saying like.... "Oh yeah, I believe James had nothing to do with Lobos murder....its only me and you together now" blah blah blah. I'm just thrilled Greg saw Mike slipping out of that apartment. Oh and Tasha getting her some of that good D and then kicking him out after she got hers. Lmaoo. James is slipping up all over the place. Whatever hold he had on everyone is gone. Angela can't stand him, Tasha just barely tolerates him and Tommy wants him dead. I'm convinced Tommy will not make it to the end of this series. He is too volatile and insecure to last. I am really losing resepct for Dre. He should have BEEN told Ghost that Kanan was alive and messing with Tariq. He is puthing more faith in Kanaan who will probably kill him no matter what when he gets done with Ghost, than in Ghost who has actually shown he cares about Dre. I dont think Keisha is dead. This show has never shied away from actually showing us a dead body. Sean, Lobos, Ruiz, etc. The scene with Keisha was very ambiguous. Tommy probably told that chick she better take the money and run.
  9. Woohhoooo....great win by the Giants today. I thought after last year's shootout I was being conservative by saying the game would 'only' be in the 30s. Pshhh. Total combined score didn't even make 30. Victor Cruz once again making a huge late game catch. The rookie Shepard (so glad I picked him up in fantasy this week) was doing work! The Giants are really showing themselves to be a more complete team. I know its only 2 games in but these were games we'd be losing under Coughlin the last couple of years. Great clock management by Mcadoo today.
  10. I think Phillip Rivers is seriously overrated. I dont understand the slurping that goes on for him. Usually I think about what would have happened if Eli and co. didn't bully their way out of San Diego.....would Rivers have 2 Superbowl rings....and i just dont think so.
  11. So many close games this week. Great win by the Giants. That was certainly a game we would have lost last year. I'm really happy to see Victor Cruz back and getting into the mix of things (even got a salsa dance from him after a TD score). With that said, Prescott was pretty good IMO. I'm happy we got this win, because I don't think we'll be so lucky the next time we play Dallas later on in the season. His receivers (Dez included) dropped the ball (pun intended).
  12. As commissioner I would ban the names of Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow from ever being spoken again. I would ban the word "elite" from being used. I would boot the entire Patriots franchise from the league (hey Goddell already abuses and misuses his power...so why can't I??). On a more serious note....I would bring in a panel of former Hall of Fame receivers and maybe a few qbs so they can finally properly define what a "catch" is.
  13. Loved the intro for the Broncos. When Von handed the trophy off, I was like "who's this schmuck (with the great swag walk) bringing the trophy out. I was pleasantly surprised to see Peyton. I figured he would be a part of the ceremony but I knew he wasn't the Superbowl MVP...so that was a nice way to have him be included. I actually fell asleep during the first half and woke up in the middle of Peyton's interview with Al and Chris....talking about how he's spending his time. Something about taking the kids to kindergarten. I didnt know his kids were so young still. He really does have his (and their) lives ahead of him. I dont see him being an analyst though....at least not full time. He seems more like a front office type like John Elway. I'm sure whatever he does do, he'll be successful. Now as for the game. I dont doubt that Cam is getting hit illegally and some of those hits should have been called but I'm so annoyed with his attitude, the pouting and complaining. There was one moment during the first half where the play ended and a Denver player,(I think Ware) was simply trying to hype the crowd up by waving his arms up and down....Cam walked by and shoved him. Like come on dude. It doesnt make sense for me to say someone who's won a national title and has been to the Superbowl is mentally weak, but to me its clear the Broncos and maybe certain players specifically have gotten in Cam's head. The other QB from last night was pretty impressive considering it was his first game. He looked poised and like the moment wasn't too big for him. I did laugh though when talking about his poise, Chris said something about how the kid has been under the bright lights before and mentioned some college game against Norte Dame. I was thinking, well was it a bowl game? Was it played at the Bears stadium? Like what made that game even remotely comparable to an NFL game (albeit regular season)? I think Siemian sitting behind Peyton did more for him than whatever game he played in college.
  14. Just for the sake of accuracy....that case was in South Carolina. And to add to your list, the guy in Minnesota who was shot and killed, while sitting in his car (seat belt still buckled), and his girlfriend recorded the last part of the police encounter on facebook. According to her (and from what I know, nothing she said was refuted or disproved by the PD) all that man was doing was reaching for his registration and whatever information in order to comply with the officer's commands. One of the reasons why these encounters with police become so sensationalized IS because most DON'T involve a chase or physical altercation. And you know what? Even if they did, that STILL wouldn't give these trigger happy cops the right to shoot. Deadly force is supposed to be used ONLY when that cop's life or someone else's life is in imminent danger. It's not to be used to subdue someone or stop them from running away (a la the South Carolina cop). What bothers me most about that particular case is that there didn't need to be a good Samaritan to record the whole thing to prove the cop was lying about what happened. If somebody...anybody in that department gave a shit, they would have known that cop was lying based on the forensics! It was obvious the man was shot in his back from a fair distance away. How could the man still be reaching for the cop's weapon and thus making the cop "fear for his life"? Makes me wonder how many more incidents have been swept under the rug under the guise of a cop "fearing for his life." Colin Kaepernick did more for the cause in a few days than most of his colleagues have done all year. He at least started a conversation (which went off on a ridiculous tangent about how to honor an inanimate object) but whatever...once several media outlets, people on social media, etc. cant stop talking about you, AND the POTUS comments on what you're doing then its really up to the rest of us to keep the fires burning on the topic. Kaepernick can't control what the media chooses to focus on, or what people want to twist his actions into. All he can do is, do what's best for his conscious (stand, sit, kneel) and use his voice to at least try keep the conversation on track. I think if/when other players start kneeling or whatever they do, it's going to keep the story alive, if only in the background.
  15. Yes...I've felt the same way all series long, and my thoughts were solidified when Greg only got some scrapes a small bruises during the Lobos escape. Greg is going to be very useful in moving the story along at the office. I am glad however, that the other guy (the one who helped Greg track down Ruiz) is pissed that Greg skirted some rules while he was suspended. Speaking of Ruiz. Did the Feds just let him go because Lobos is dead? Or is he acting as an informant? I wasn't paying close enough attention, but I find it odd that Ghost didn't really ask how Ruiz got out from under the Feds. I was cursing so much during that scene. I was like Greg you a real dummy... because that bitch got him suspended off some bullshit. I was so happy it turns out he's playing her. With that said, could Angela have looked any more bored while she and Greg were fucking? I fell off the couch laughing when she looked up and stared longingly at the picture of Ghost on Greg's wall. Smh. For all of Keisha's complaining, bitch sure did take the 500 Gs though! Lmao. Not that I blame her. I mean what Tasha did was fucked up and Imma be sooo pissed if Tommy kills her, but hey $500k is not a bad "I'm sorry" for turning your business into a money laundering place. But I wonder where Tasha got that money from? No way has she saved up $500k in this short amount of time hiding money from Ghost. And she can't touch the kids trust without Ghost's signature. So where she get that kinda money from? I'm so done with Tariq. That boy is just really really dumb. I mean, he just gets in Kanaan's car, hardly any questions asked? Smh. Luckily he got a big mouth because that shit saved him from getting his head blown off...literally.
  16. But if Kaep wanted to use activism as a way to get out of San Francisco, wouldn't he have done something more outspoken than just sitting down for the Anthem? The only reason people are talking about this is because a reporter asked Kaep about it. Secondly, if Kaep is so desperate to get out of San Fran that he'd go to such lengths which apparently is only serving to alienate other players and annoy executives, why not just take the pay cut and sign with the Broncos when they were interested? As it is now, if Chip does cut him, he's labelled a distraction and will probably have to sign with a team on a discounted rate anyway. At least if he had signed with the Broncos, he'd be on a championship level team.
  17. Uggg....I dont usually go on twitter to tweet things to people unless it's like a Mike&Mike question or something, but I was compelled to say something to Rodney Harrison because that was one of the most ignorant statements I've heard so far this week, of which there were many. How the hell would Rodney Harrison know what Kaepernick has been through? On what planet is Kaepernick not black? I don't know his background exactly...I think he was adopted by a white family or something? But Kaepernick's skin tone (which ironically is pretty close to Rodney's, IMO) makes him just as susceptible to the struggles and outright DANGERS of being black in America. Never mind all his tattoes and the way he dresses. I dont understand why Rodney, and just recently Boomer Esiason, and others are bringing out how much money Kaepernick makes. As if being rich makes you immune from racism. There is no corner of this country that a black person can go to where they would be free from racism. Speaking of Boomer. Please STFU! He says what Kaepernick did is about as disrespectful as an athlete has ever been. Really?? All this backlash and people (not surprising the white ones) coming out the woodwork saying how disrespectful Kaepernick is; how he should just be happy to be collecting his $11 million paycheck; it's not the time or place to highlight racial/social injustice (when it comes to black people); supposedly some executives (no doubt white) would cut Kaepernick or not hire him, etc. etc. etc. All this because he didn't stand for the National Anthem at a preseason game. I'm shuttering thinking about what would have happened if Ali, Jim Brown, and the like were in their prime in 2016 and took their political stands as they did back in the day.
  18. Trust me..I grew up in a household where what my mom did would most surely be deemed as outright abuse. And I'm not exaggerating. As a child you really have no choice but to take it. But although I called Tariq a "boy" in an earlier post, he's actually a young man in high school. To me, he's old enough to defend himself against being hit regardless of who it is....even his own mother. Mileages vary on that. And this could just be me being in my feelings about the topic because Ive had this exact thing happen. Me and my mom got into an argument and she put her hand up to hit me and I blocked her....then she told my dad that I tried to hit her.??Smh. I told my dad, if I really wanted to hit her she'd be on the ground still. And yes my mom was in the room when I said it. Lol.
  19. I think Ghost might have thought Tasha was exaggerating a bit, which she kinda was. Because it seemed like she told Ghost Tariq tried to hit her? But as Tariq explained, he wasn't trying to hit her, he was just stopping her from hitting him, which IMO he has a right to do. Ghost yolked Tariq up because that boy was acting too fucking grown. Whatever we, the audience, or Tasha feel about Angela, Tariq is still a boy and should show some respect. I'm not saying he has to like Angela, but he for damn for shouldn't be referring to her as a "side bitch" especially while talking TO his father. Like who the fuck does that?
  20. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't a reporter ask Kaepernick why he was sitting during the Anthem? If that's the case why shouldn't he say exactly why? I find it incredibly off putting that so much (negative) attention is being heaped on him for exercising his American right to protest (silently I might add) yet hardly anyone has expressed outrage for WHY he's actually protesting. If people got as worked up over the way minorities are treated...how some cops use us as target practice, the systemic and institutional racism that exists to destroy us, Kaepernick wouldn't feel the need to say and do what he did. Not to mention, this whole argument about locker room distraction is BS to me. Because distractions don't stop teams from picking up players who abuse their wives or girlfriends, drive drunk, smoke weed, or whatever else. It's only a 'distraction' if the player can't play. The flag doesn't just represent the military. It represents the entire country and it's supposed values. Black people have historically been devalued. Thats not opinion, that's fact. So for people to turn Kaep's protest over the Anthem into an attack or disrespect for the military is head scratching but not surprising. Lets completely misrepresent what Kaepernick said so we can pretty much just ignore the problem like we've always done. I'm happy athletes are using their voices to speak out. Kaepernick, MJ, Lebron, Melo, etc. Whatever his motivation, Kaepernick is using his platform to bring attention to something that's bigger than him. Bravo.
  21. I'm going to shout out Naturi for her acting in the very scene you mentioned. Her facial expressions are soo powerful. She can say so much without uttering a word. From when Angela was telling her the legal ramifications of covering for Ghost, you could see Tasha was listening and taking it in but also trying to act like she wasn't bothered at all. Then when Tasha had her backed turned to Angela trying to think of a lie...you could see the wheels turning. I could tell she aint really want to tell Angela she slept with Ghost at the hotel, but it's like fuck it, she has to. Angela really has some fucking nerve questioning Tasha on her relationship with her own God damn husband. These side chicks are getting more bold by the day. Smh. She need to be worried about her damn job. How the fuck did committing several federal offenses save her from losing her job? Only Angela could have that happen. Anybody else curious about what was in the white guy's file??? The two interviewers from the Dept. of Professional Conduct(?) were having a good laugh. It's probably something incredibly pervy. I lmao when Tommy was like "he Google'd the shit outta you".?
  22. It's so obvious Fizz is a relationship guy, but because that's not what's hot in these streets (i.e. men actually taking care of their kids, and not wanting to have hoes in different areas codes) he has to pretend to be some playa. I dont think it was Fizz's idea to move in with Moniece. That had to come from upstairs (Mona and Co.). I think Fizz just ended up catching feelings for Nikki and maybe wanted to use theither situation to make Nikki jealous or something? Like he can't come right out and just say, hey gas leak at the crib and im staying with Monique for children amount of time. Just temporary, nothing going on. Nope, he has to let her find out on her own (which given Moniece's big mouth and the rest of the cast having big mouths it was only a matter of time before Nikki found out, which she did,) and it makes it look like Fizz is hiding something. And the whole thing worked because Nikki looked so pissed and petty to me. And why would she be pissed and petty if she didn't like him too? Anyway, it looks like my little psychological analysis is moot anyway because Nikki done moved on with TWO people, one of whom is a woman? Another gay for pay storyline. Yaaaawnnnn.
  23. I think the stipulation is that if Tasha initiates the divorce she gets nothing. Thats why the lawyer she went to see said it was gonna be difficult to win anything, and that Tasha should just think about continuing to stay married and just live separate lives. But now, James is the one who is initiating the divorce so Tasha is eligible to get half....probably one of the reasons she aint really fight to sign the papers. It seems like she been over Ghost and his shit and she still getting her money. I was rolling when Tasha was "ghost" texting Angela (pun intented). She really knew exactly what Ghost would say. I especially liked when Angela kept on texting and Tasha was like "bitch, don't you have a job?" Lmao. Am I the only one who didn't like the Serbian reveal thing? I just thought that shit was over the top...even though a lot of this show is over the top. But what, I'm supposed to believe James was so preoccupied with Lobos and whatever else, that he didn't do a background on these people? Speaking of Lobos, that was some weak ass transport security. First thing...why weren't Lobos' feet cuffed too? Most high risk prisoners have both hands and feet in chains. Secondly, they're traveling in some "i have candy get in my van" mobile. Like really? I figure they were supposed to be low key because it's a "John Doe" situation or whatever, but that's the best they can do?
  24. Not to be all Monday morning QBing, but i thought Lochte was lying from the beginning. I saw a clip of him detailing his ordeal to a reporter and it wasnt even about what he was saying, it was how he was saying it. It sounded like he was actually trying to remember what to say...as if lying. IMO, if you had just been held at gunpoint a night or 2 before you'd be able to be a bit more convincing than what I saw. I dont even know the details or what actually happened and frankly I dont really care. Lochte has always come across to me as the typical douchebag frat boy. This story doesn't tarnish my opinion of him at all.
