  1. If Debra has any knowledge of Durst's murderous activities, she should be charged as well, as an accessory after the fact or whatever they can pin on her. She disgusts me almost as much as Durst. She pretty much sold her soul to the devil himself.
  2. I wonder if that guy Cookie had killed by mistake is ever going to come back to bite her. That storyline was pretty much dropped. I think if any of the boys were deserving of overall control of Empire it would be Andre. He's actually worked there for some years and went to school for business. He knows what he's doing. As far as talent evaluation and all that stuff goes, Jamal could do that. Honestly, if Empire is as big as we're led to believe, there's no reason why all 3 boys couldn't have credible, high level positions. Luscious creating this ridiculous competition for the company's control when he really only prepared one of them even half way (Andre) was silly. Neither Jamal or Hakeem knows anything about business, and from what I've seen neither of them were even interested in Empire from a business perspective before Luscious said it was given it to one of them.
  3. I'm with those that don't think Vernon is really dead. There has to be a reason why the writers completely glossed over what happened to his body. I read here that Malik made a comment about Jussie being gay in an interview, and I was dreading it was some sort of Isiah Washington/Grey's Anatomy repeat, but it definitely wasn't anything like that, so I'm thinking maybe this is Malik's "timeout" for accidentally outing Jussie (who told Ellen he was never in the closet to begin with) and he'll be back at some later date. At least that's what I'm hoping. Vernon is a great calm, collected character in the middle of a storm of crazies.
  4. What I found weird and just a little bit disgusting about the sex scene was that Claire had just come back from running. And then she just hops on top of Frank. At least take a quick shower first. Yikes. I think Claire vomiting was her not actually wanting to go through with more scheming. But she wanted to just make the impression that she did, so she made that big speech, expecting/hoping Frank would say no its not the time or whatever excuse he could have made. But when he actually agreed, Claire had a "Oh shit" look on her face, right before she puked.
  5. The season finale should have been cut to one hour. A lot of this stuff could have been left out or at least tabled until next season. Too many things happened, and all this backstabbing is making my head hurt. What the hell did Andre and Rhonda do with Vernon's body. This show makes me crazy with the way they edit scenes or just don't show certain things. Something so important as disposing of the body, and you don't even mention it. Is he really dead? Best of the show was the fight between Cookie and Anika and the song Jamal did with Patti Labelle at the end. Jamal dangling that man (who's name I can never remember) over the balcony came out of nowhere for me. All I kept saying was Jamal aint about that life! WTF is he doing? I could see Andre or even Hakeem doing something like that. Did not care at all for Anika having sex with Hakeem. At least it was already established that the boy has mommy issues so.... The number 1 thing that surprised me was that not only does Lucious not have ALS, but that he didn't keep it a secret. I thought for sure he was going to keep that bit of news to himself at least for a little while. All in all it was a great show, but they have to clean up some of these storylines. I love soap operas as much as the next person but they've got to pace themselves.
  6. God this show is soo ridiculous. Mona really is scraping the bottom of the barrel with these people. Damn will Jim Jones really be the most accomplished hip hop star this franchise will ever see? Yikes. Ive been debating back and forth who is worse...Peter or Stevie J. I really havent decided but im leaning towards Stevie. I know Peter is a lying liar who lies but it doesnt seems to be as vicious as Stevie. Tara and Amina have just seen what they wanted to see, while Peter has shown them exactly what he's about. Lol at the person a few pages ago that mentioned there is plenty of dick in NYC and the greater tristate area to go around. Aint no need for these girls to be killing each other for these jokers. There's not a likable man on the entire cast. And that pained me to say because I used to love Mendeecees. I guess the more time he gets on camera the more his crap gets aired out.
  7. About the note....couldnt the prosecutors say that based on the day the note was postmarked that only the killer would know when Berman was killed. Did Durst ever admit to being in California? Now all of a sudden not only is he in California but that he actually did go to Berman's house, but oh no he definitely didnt kill her. He only saw her body and was nice enough to send the cops a note. I would love to see a defense attorney argue that with a straight face.
  8. I don't see what Doug would have to gain by lying. He's not going to put his own integrity on the line just to sully Bob's name. The dog thing is something that could easily be verified by other family members. As far as finances go, years ago Robert got about $65 million in a settlement in which he relinquished any and all access or entitlement to the family fortune. So I don't think if Robert goes to prison now, it means anything for Doug financially. Just watched Jeffrey Toobin and Mark Geragos on Anderson Cooper. They both agree the audio in the bathroom is definitely admissible in court. Robert has no expectation of privacy when dealing with journalists, even in a bathroom. And the fact that he knew he was mic'ed makes it worse for him. I think they both said the letters could also be admissible, but since handwriting analysis is not an exact science like dna or other forensics, it could be hit or miss. All the lawyers/expert analysts can say is that "yeah these two samples are similar and could have been written by the same person".
  9. The townhouse security footage puzzled me too. How DID Jarecki get his hands on it? The most likely scenario to me is that Doug provided it. He didn't want to get directly involved in this documentary, but perhaps he wanted to show people that Robert is crazy and really is after him, so he sent Jarecki the tape. I can't imagine the filmmakers being able to set up their own camera right above Doug's front door. As sophisticated as his security team must be, there's no way they'd allow anybody to set up anything. As for the live mic. Meh. I'd give the fellas the benefit of the doubt on that one. Those guys were legit scared of Robert Durst at that point. After the big reveal, I'm sure they all wanted to get the fuck outta there (I thought the interview ended kind of abruptly...lol), and maybe in their haste they forgot to get the mic. Robert Durst is the devil to me. He could very well snatch your heart right out of your chest. I surely would have no intention of coming within 5 feet of him just to remove a piece of plastic from his shirt.
  10. Juries in LA arent known for their intelligence. IMO, they come in second only to Florida juries in the "wtf were you thinking" category. I think Robert is a cold blooded killer. Maybe he did care about his victims, but never as much as he cared about himself. I cant get over the info little bro Dougie provided about how Robert had several dogs by the name of Igor that he killed, and said those dogs were his way of "practicing". I mean, that is classic psychopathic/killer behavior. And dismembering a body limb from limb just baffles me. How do you go from never committing murder to being about to tear a body a part with a handsaw. Its like going from 0 to 1 million. Don't know how that juror could think Robert was innocent. Guess it was pure coincidence that the only part of Black's body that could prove or more accurately disprove Robert's story (his head) was the only part that was never recovered. That is one thing though that I have oddly questioned, is Robert's knowledge of the law/criminal procedure. Would it occur to any other criminal to keep the head? And some of the other things he did to get away with these murders. I can see why he would think he's the smartest person in the room.
  11. I've been obsessed with this series, and yes the last 5 minutes or so saved this episode. I was SHOCKED when he went into the bathroom and said something to the effect of "Well, that does it, you're caught." And then he says "killed them all". With that said, I'm not holding out any hope for an actual conviction. Surely the LAPD have found more evidence than the letter? If there is one thing I've learned while watching certain high profile criminal cases play out, is that juries want more than just circumstantial evidence no matter how much of it you give them. The funniest part of this episode for me was when Jareki and some other guy were talking about whether or not Durst went to Spain, and they were like "yeah he probably went. He's usually very truthful". And then the guy behind the camera goes "Are you guys fucking kidding me?" I was like THANK GOD there is at least one person with a brain in that room. Durst is a freaking lying serial killer. I have no doubt he's killed more than the 3 people he's linked to. His old age and hubris hopefully have done him in.

Yeah that was my reaction too...like did we really have to know that Irving cried in his dad's arms. I thought, yeah he's going to get ridiculed for sure. Paul George is a rock. I believe Coach K called him stoic in the presser. I've seen more dramatics when players simply twist an ankle. I guess he must have been in shock or something. I think a more comparable injury, at least when it comes to gruesomeness is Shaun Livingston. That guy had to battle for years to get back to the league and be a great player again. But yea, since D Rose is there (and the bigger star) people will want to here his reaction. But his face said it all. He didnt even want to go over there. Im a Knicks fans, so y'all know im conditioned to hate the Pacers but im praying for Paul George to get better. The Pacers have taken blow after blow for like a year now. If I were a player I'd be a little annoyed that it took THIS kind of thing to happen before the league decided to look at how close photographers and other things are to the court. Anybody with 2 working eyes can see these players werent given much room to not only land after a play at the rim, but even simply trying to chase someone down and then stop at a dime. Its like they have to be hurdlers too. As powerful as they make cameras and recorders these days would it really kill those people to sit like 5 feet further back and just use the zoom in feature?

Lance Stephenson would make me loathe the Heat and would make him almost as big a hypocrite as Kevin Garnett. The only other team I wouldnt want him on is Knicks. We've had enough jackasses to last a generation. Speaking of the Knicks. Im cautiously optimistic that Melo will stay, at least one more year. He would be wise to wait until Lebron and some others go into free agency.

Loved Mike Greenburg saying based on how much the lack of AC affected Lebron there is no way there will be any AC for Sunday night's game.

There is no legit reason why Sterling would sue the NBA. He's doing it simply because he can and he's pissed at everything that has happened. Frankly I cant wait for both him and Shelly to go away. She knew damn well Sterling was racist. You cant be married to someone for over 50 years and not know, plus she was actively involved in his schemes to disenfranchise minority tenants years ago. Im so excited the finals are finally here. I really have no idea who will win or even who I'll root for. Ive had a healthy hatred for the Spurs for over a decade, and although I like Lebron and I rooted for Miami last year im kind of done seeing them dominate. I think when the first game starts ill know. I did love Tim Duncan's little soundbite about how they will win it all this time. Either way this goes, its going to be a battle.
