  1. Soooo I actually liked Seattle's uniforms last night. If the NFL really had any balls they'd go full circus on this Thursday Night game stuff and have the players play with the lights out. I bet those neon green unis are "glow in the dark". So why not just have all the teams play in glow in the dark uniforms....paint the football in some kind of red bright color and let them go.
  2. Can somebody explain why this guy is still "campaigning"? He's still holding rallies and having meetings witb celebrities...WTF is going on here?
  3. So that little sit down with Mendecees baby mommas was hilarious. I dont know who is telling the truth between Yandy and Erica but they was really trying it. I am HERE for Cardi B. This bitch snatched her own wig off. Didnt give 2 fucks about the camera or being on tv. LOVE IT. That producer dude looked like he was tryna do his best Tre from Boyz in the Hood impression. I wish I knew how to import memes and shit like that...cause boy was airboxing with the best of them. Lol. How you fuck up your relationship for pussy you ain even get? Dummy. I'm so over DJ Self, Rich and the rest of the Creep Squad. Where is Papoose and......? Well damn I guess Papoose is the only decent man Love&HipHop:NY has featured. Shameful.
  4. Wow...I cant believe the Giants pulled this one out. Just when im about to write them off they go and beat one of the best teams of the year (and keep our own playoff hopes alive). Still dont like what our offense is doing (or not doing). How many times did we give the ball away...and how manh more were potential give aways? At least our D is legit. Maybe next year we can get both sides of the ball clicking in the same season.
  5. Lol...Im heading downtown to a bar to watch the game with one of my friends....who's a Cowboys fan. Should be interesting. Its flurrying a little bit here...not sure what its like in NJ but I doubt its that much different. We'll see what the weather is like come game time.

Lol@ the water bottle thing. Most pundits are talking about how it was kinda disrespectful to the Knicks for Lebron and Co. to be playing that game...but I don't think anybody said straight up that the 'disrespect' wasnt aimed at the Knicks as a team (Lebron's good friend, Melo is the face of that team afterall) but it was aimed at Phil Jackson personally (due to their "posse" feud). I mean its not like the Knicks were the first team Lebron has ever slaughtered and the bottle throwing game has been around for years so what's different here? Why would Lebron's do something blatantly disrespectful to the opposing team? Its because Phil just doesnt know when to shut the fuck up or apologize or just plain mind his damn business.
  7. Wow. Alex Smith tried to give it away...but that defense is serious. They came up big is a lot of "big" spots. Great win by KC tonight. Hey these Thursday Nights games aren't so bad lol...Got like 3 good ones in a row.
  8. So Yandy really shouldnt be making decisions for Lil' M without Samantha's approval. It doesnt matter where Samantha was the last couple of years of Lil' M's life....she's there now. And if Yandy or more specifically Big M didnt want Samantha in the picture he should have filed for full custody. But as it is now, Samantha is still legally Lil' M' mom and as such is entitled to be made aware of his movements...especially as it pertains to visiting federal prisons. Like I totally understand her on that (unless it comes out that when she was doing her bid she wanted Lil' M to see her cause then that just makes her a hypocrite.). Now I am interested in the other son's mom. She look like she's got all the tea to spill on Yandy's parade. Where the hell she been at all this time. I can't believe Samantha's mom had a heart attack. Like that's GOT to be a first for reality tv. These people out here breaking ground. As a side note, not taking any personality traits into account....just straight looks.....Mendecees has good taste. All three of his baby mamas (its only three right?) are gorgeous.
  9. You're right, we were kind of just dumped into the middle of Issa and Lawrence's drama. I got the impression Lawrence hasnt been unemployed for long. For the simple fact as someone upthread mentioned.....you cant be on unemployment for long. I think its like 6 or 9 months. And obviously to be on unemployment you'd have to have been employed at some point. I wonder what the job was that Lawrence was doing previously. Was it similar to what he's doing now at the app place or was it more of a dead end "I'll take this in the meantime" type of job. Yessss to the poster upthread who thought Tiffany's hubby was the gay friend. I thought he was actually checking out Molly's date. I forget the guy's name.
  10. You're starting to wonder? Eli is absolutely a part of the problem. He throws wayyy to many interceptions. This has been his problem his entire career. But most fans and his coaches would just look the other way because he'd make enough good plays to get us by. But not anymore. This is why when earlier in the season people were clutching their pearls over Odell's shenanigans, I was like uhh hello Eli is throwing interceptions...of course Odell is gonna be pissed. Odell still has his issues but Eli is the one with the ball in his hands literally every snap. He needs to get his shit together or else this great 8-3 (now 8-4) start will be for nothing. We've got Cowboys, Lions, and then Eagles and Redskins on the road. We could legit lose all 4 games.
  11. I titled the thread generally, but I really wanted to discuss a specific case. Today a mistrial was declared in the case of Michael Slager, the South Carolina cop who was recorded on camera gunning down Walter Scott. I'm sure everyone has seen the video of Scott running away and Slager shooting him several times in his back. Slager reportedly was "in fear of his life". The result of this case is troubling to me on several levels. For one, this is the most basic example of police brutality/ourright murder ever recorded. What is ambiguous or confusing about what happened? Im asking seriously. From what I've read one juror held out telling the judge he couldn't "in good conscious" convict Slager. In good conscious? Really? I'd like to know why. Is it just because Slager was a cop or because Scott was black (and hey black lives dont matter anyway right)? What could Slager have possibly said to justify what we actually saw on the tape. I'm upset for this man's family. It appears for now, they'll be denied justice. I'm upset for all black people across the country who have (always had) a legitimate reason to be fearful any and everytime they encounter a police officer. I think Slager is up on federal charges as well so hopefully, this piece of shit will be spending a good portion of the rest of his life in prison.
  12. Which makes Issa pushing Lawrence the way she did (passive aggressively and unsupportive some times) even more glaring. Basically she wanted Lawrence in a job he hates (like her) for what? To keep up appearances with her boughie (non-Molly) friends? From what I could tell, they weren't hurting for food or other necessities and she was still able to go out to dinner and whatever else with Molly. Also, not sure how it is in California but in NY (more specifically NYC) you have to "work" for your unemployment money. Especially as a single (legally speaking Lawrence would be considered a single person) man with no kids, you gotta do all kinds of shit. Job readiness programs and what not. Now with all that said, Im not going to absolve Lawrence from not doing anything for Issa's birthday and he clearly got comfortable in the relationship, but IMO Issa could have been a bit more supportive. Lawrence was a good dude. At least he was trying....maybe not the way Issa wanted him to try (having a 9-5 type of job) but he was trying. I think Issa was bored and would have cheated on Lawrence eventually. She was catching the vibes for Daniel even before she knew Lawrence forgot her bday. She just used that as an excuse to finally contact him. I am Molly and Molly is me. Damn if I havent been that type. Just being a tad bit too aggressive in the beginning of a romance. I hope the show delves into Molly's past (especially with the therapy thing). I just find her fascinating because she's otherwise a very confident, capable likable person, but when it comes to romance she turns into this almost desperate type. I'd like to know what her prior relationships were like and what her relationship is like with her parents. Has she mentioned them yet? And I might be the only one, but I hated that Molly drove Issa back to her apt. I didnt think Issa had earned enough cache for Molly to do that for her. I see another big blowup in their future.
  13. Me either. For the simple fact that that nickname is taken already. Jason Williams who played in the NBA is the only "White Chocolate". GTFOH Dr. Doobi. I cant ever keep up with who are friends and who isnt. I had forgotten Kimbella and Yandy were friends. It didnt even occur to me that something was amiss during the wedding. Im waiting for the episode where that chick really pulls out some white bread out her bra to throw it at Bianca. I mean...really bitch? I think Snoop girl is fake crazy. She acting up for the cameras....like a lowkey version of Tommy.
  14. Holy.....?? I can't believe it! This was a really good, exciting game for Sunday Night. I was a little surprised Kubiac went for it but I didn't think it was so bad of a call. Lots of nail biting moments right down to the final field goal hitting the upright but still going in. WOW!
  15. Saw this last night. Easily the best movie I've seen all year. Totally agree that the 3 actors playing the stages of Chiron's life were all great. There wasnt any weak links here. One thing that struck me and my friend wasnt even really about the movie itself..but about the moviegoers. Usually a movie with an all black or majority black cast will garner a majority black audience....but only speaking for the theater I was in, we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually a majority white audience. That got us into a discussion about why? Was it because of the gay black male (who isnt the stereotypical hairdresser/flamboyant type) dynamic and curious to see what THAT looks like? Maybe most were House of Cards fans and really liked Remy? I dont know, it was just something we noticed and thought was interesting. One personal gripe I have is the ending. I WANTED the payoff! A kiss at the very least. I can understand why they ended it the way they did but damnit I wanted that kiss.
  16. I hate the Cowboys too....but all game I was like those 'boys are just too good. And I cant help but like Dak. Uggg. Who's going to stop this train?
  17. ?? What a catch by Williams just now. Watched it a couple times.
  18. As a lesbian....I have absolutely no issues with someone who doesnt like gay people. Everyone is entitled to their opinion as you said. The issue I have is when people like Mike Pence decide that HIS religion and HIS opinion is more important than MY rights as an American citizen. I pay taxes just like Mike Pence (and unlike Donald Trump). I have a right to marry who I want to marry. I have a right to be left alone and not deemed some kind of societal reject who's only hope is gay conversion therapy. I'm not interested in waiting around for Mike Pence and people like him to decide when its appropriate to finally recognize me as a human being deserving of respect and all the rights supposedly given to me by the Constitution. If black people waited for "people to get used to new ideas" we'd probably STILL be in chains....one could argue we still are figuratively speaking. If women waited, we wouldnt be able to vote. We still arent getting full pay for equal work. Why? Because its "taking longer for some people to get used to new ideas".

Most professional athletes are babies. But you know, I respect Lebron for having the balls to voice his opinion, stand up for his boys and speak out on various social issues. He's done a lot more than say the almighty basketball god Michael Jordan ever did in his hey day and even Kobe.
  20. But that's the problem. These rich white elites are having a huge problem with minority groups standing up for themselves and voicing their disapproval over whats going on. They dont want equality. Never have never will. And they surely dont want you making things uncomfortable for them by pointing out how unfairly this country has treated certain segments of the population. People calling BLM a terrorist organization, condemning Colin Kaepernick for starting a trend of (silently) protesting the national anthem because of what's been going on, Trump saying the folks protesting his election were "professionals". We can go back decades to what they did to MLK, Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Angela Davis and a host of other people who spoke out. They were villified, some arrested and of course others murdered. The Black Panthers were deemed by J Edgar Hoover, then head of the FBI as the "most dangerous threat to the internal security of the country". An all out assault was launched to dismantle them....yet the KKK was left to terrorize blacks for centuries. How is that possible? Anybody thinking minority groups are going to just bend over and smile nicely and leave this racist, xenophobic Admininstration to their own devices has another thing coming. What makes me so mad, is that there were serious threats made against Hillary Clinton not only by the nutjobs who support the GOP but by actual members of the Party! Lets not forget that calls for a "revolution" and bloodshed were happening. I believe at one point Trump himself played coy with the idea and his ass kissers on the various talk shows had to defend and deflect saying thats not what he really meant....but it was. Or at least he might have been hoping some freak supporter thought he meant it. So IMO, making a statement at a play or booing the VP is STILL a far cry from what I bet would be happening if the shoe was on the other foot. People would be literally trying to kill Hillary.
  21. Giants defense came through once again. We need to be more effective on offense. No reason to be stalled like that against the Bears for pretty much 2 1/2 quarters.
  22. I dont see any problem with the cast of Hamilton making a statement to the VP. The statement itself wasnt even bad. But I feel like this is kind of like why people have a problem with the very notion of the Black Lives Matter movement. I'm just hearing a lot of shut up and how dare you question the status quo. There was a piece on Donald Trump I was watching on Fox News...then I got to watching something on my DVR...when it ended the tv went back to Fox. There is some lady on there....never seen her in my life, but she immediately reminded me of Sally Langston on Scandal. I'd bet money this lady on Fox is who they modeled that character after. Anywho, I couldn't find the remote fast enough so I caught a little snippet of what she was screeching about. I heard her use the term "reverse racism" and was curious what the hell she was talking about. Wouldnt you know it, she's talking about what happened at the Hamilton Play. How Pence was bullied and everyone involved should be ashamed. First of all, I wish death to the person who came up with the ridiculous term "reverse racism". There's no such thing. It kind of implies that white people have a monopoly on being racist ?? so if it happens to them then its "reverse". No its still just racism. Secondly, nothing in the statement was derogatory to the VP. It was just asking him to remember to serve ALL of us....and given his stance and actual policies he's implemented its not hard to see why anyone would feel the need to address him. Mike Pence was a part of a Presidential campaign unlike any other anybody has seen in our lifetimes. It was built on racism, misogyny, xenophobia, and just overall intolerance. You cant run a campaign like that and then expect high fives and kumbaya from everyone. There was nothing normal about this campaign season, so yes people arent going to have a normal reaction to it and go on like business as usual. I HOPE everyone voices their opinions to Pence and Trump everywhere they go.
  23. Yep. If Trump had lost he probably wouldnt have settled...and definitely not for $25 million which I heard a lawyer on CNN say is pretty much all the profits the school made.
  24. The usual pundits were on Don Lemon last night talking about what happened at the Hamilton play. Angela Rye mentioned that the actor who gave the speech at the end is gay and HIV+.....which is especially poignant because apparently Mike Pence has tried to take money away from HIV funding to use in his gay conversion therapy shit. I dont think Pence took anything away from that play. Itll be business as usual when he gets back to Washington. If anything he'll be even more hardcore...being booed and embarassed by the NY elites (thats what Kayleigh Mcenany called the people who go to these Broadway shows). Don rightly pointed out that plenty of people who go to Broadway shows are tourists or who dont even like in NY (much like Mike Pence) and more so dont pay the $800+ ticket price....although Im sure he did. Oh and yes....I totally agree Pence probably has some secrect gay predilections of his own. Those who are so obsessed with stopping gays from just living their life often do.
