I cant believe that was Jason Witten's 1st playoff td catch. Then i think about the overrated qb he's been playing with most of his career and I get it.

Seems to me he didnt know he could have stayed in the end zone. I wasnt sure myself....but im not getting paid millions (or even a couple hundred thousand to know)....bonehead move.

Is Aaron Rodgers really the only QB who tries to draw a penalty on the opposing team while they're substituting? It sure seems like it. I feel like everybody else considers it kind of bushleague/unsportsmanlike and dont do it...yet I havent heard anyone really say anything negatively about it. Its always..."oh look how clever Rodgers is for doing this all the freaking time". Im a Giants fan and im hate all things Dallas....but I hate Aaron bleeping Rodgers soo freaking much. Hoping those 2 rookies can knock him out of the playoffs.

Houston is doing a lot better than I thought. They are really competing. Already have 2 turnovers. Im really really hoping they can pull out the upset to end all upsets.

Well I believe that sometimes the best defense is offense. If Odell and Shepard convert on their td catches the packers are down 14 - 0 early in the first half and maybe Rodgers starts feeling some pressure (both literally...we sacked him like 4 or 5 times and figuratively...overthinking things and maybe throws a pick). The defense did a great job and held off Rodgers as long as they could. The offense did not help them AT ALL....Oh and dont even get me started on special teams. The idiot kick off returner catches the ball at the 3 yard line....then his momentum carries him out of bounds. Like whhyy? Why are you catching the ball inside the 5? That was a back breaker even more so than the hail mary. Funny how the only person who showed up to play was Eli. SMH. Ill be rooting for Atlanta to win it all on the NFC...and KC to please please please knock out the Pats. I cant take 2 weeks of Belicheck and Brady being slurped....and God fobid if they win AGAIN.

Thats the game folks. Giants cant even get to 20...they for damn sure not getting to 30. The defense did all they could. The offense as usual didnt show up. And as much as I know that stupid Miami trip had nothing to do with the outcome....I didnt care for the giants wide receivers coming out pregame shirtless. Just being all extra. So on that note i hope they all get hammered in the media tmrw...so next time they know better.

This is not good. I believe Eli made a Hail mary play to end the half in Green Bay on his way to the superbowl one of those years. I hope this is not a sign of things to come for the Packers.

Totally agree re: Beckham....he had 2 drops that should have been caught....one cost us a touchdown. I dont think its so much the cold as it is the pressure. It reminded me of the easy catch he didnt make that game they had last year against Carolina. He torched Norman and Eli dropped the ball right in the basket in stride and Beckham didnt catch it.

I see the refs are in rare form to start this Detroit- Seahawks game. ?? I wonder what shenanigans are in store later on. Something crazy is gonna happen late in this game.

COY should be Del Rio for obvious reasons. Hell I would even give it to Jason Garrett before I give it to Belicheck. I mean the Cowboys were an absolute circus (as usual) this year with their meddling owner and yet the 'Boys remained focused and basically only lost 2 games (I dont count the meaningless last game against the Eagles) with a rookie running back and a 4th round pick rookie qb. MVP is a little harder. Zeke was the most consistent offensive player...but this is typically a qb award....so I'd go with Matt Ryan.

Can the media please stop talking about OBJ and the rest of the Giants receivers going down to Miami for a day. Win or lose that trip will have absolutely no effect on the game. Unless one is going to argue they are hearing the noise and put too much pressure on themselves to show and prove. Im concerned that an offense that has one of the top 2 receivers in the game can only manage to score 13-16 points. The defense is lights out and once again came thru for us. I cant believe Mcadoo played the starters for so long....lucky for him we ended up winning the game with no injuries because if either of those two things went the other way he'd have some questions to answer. I hope the Pack and the Lions still put some effort into their game tonight despite knowing they're both in. I also feel bad for Oakland. Man what a tough break. KC is now the only team I see with a legit chance to stop the Patriots from rolling thru the playoffs.

I see why they voted Colin. He sparked one of the biggest conversations about race thru his silent protest; and did inspire a lot of players not only in the NFL but in other sports to make their own gestures (at least for a time); had the President (and soon to be President) talking about his protests. And what makes Jackson's comments even worse is that he pretty much doubled down on them. So he made an assumption about Lebron's friends that turned out to be completely wrong. Not only have they NOT brought Lebron down but they have actually helped him create an empire that could legitimately have Lebron becoming the first billion dollar athlete. Im more offended by the penalty they called on Eli Apple. Apple CLEARLY pulled up trying not to hit Wentz...I dont think he even touched Wentz's head...but because Wentz was already in slide motion they throw the flag. Compared to the egregious calls they arent giving Newton for whatever reason, the ticky tack shit from last night was embarrassing.

Soooo the refs definitely hate Cam Newton. That was a clear helmet to helmet hit on Cam while he was sliding. The refs actually do throw a flag but its on Cam for "taunting" because he flicked the ball after the play. Not even sure if he threw it at the defender or just out of bounds near him. That was ridiculous.

But it wasn't "heat of the moment". Prescott said Elliot had asked his opinion about it during pregame. So it was definitely planned. But for me, I dont care if it was planned. I loved it. (Not the actual Salvation Army part though....they are huge homophobes who have threatened to shut down operations in entire cities due to LGBT legislation being enacted in those cities). But the overall act was fun and clearly its created a lot of positive buzz. I've been a big proponent of the league relaxing ALL rules regarding celebrations. Preplanned, props, choreography, whatever. Perhaps my only rule would revolve around length of celebrations. Like nothing longer than 10 seconds.

I had the NFL Network on in the other room and I heard them say Bradley has to fly back with the team. I'm like damnnnnn couldnt they have waited until they landed back in Jacksonville. And this was after the coach tried to give the game away by going for 2 instead of kicking the field goal to tie the game. I'm happy everyone survived the Packers-Bears game. Anyone complaining about athletes making millions of dollars...go out in -2° weather for 3 hours with no coat. Oh yeah and run a couple miles while you're out there. I run to go catch a cab in 35 degree weather and my chest starts burning....I dont know how the hell these guys do it...but more power to them.
