  1. YANA, (see what I did there!) Midnight is also one of my favorite eps. I like everything about it, mainly only one set, one character getting picked off, one by one, like something out of Agatha Christie, and probably my favorite, the razor-sharp performance of Lesley Sharp of a woman overtaken by an alien presence. She commanded fear and sympathy simultaneously. I love when her character repeats everything the Doctor says ending with 'Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, Donna Noble'. I hate those lists.
  2. Yes, especially on the Ravenswood Expressway! :)
  3. "Mommy, why aren't we teaching Gabrielle English?" Such an innocent, yet creepy question. I just read a novel called The Cellar about an abused nanny/housekeeper. I'm waiting for the next episode when Gabrielle is moved out of her room into less comfortable quarters (basement, broom closet).
  4. My DVR stopped at the top of the hour, did I miss some violence?
  5. Sometimes the most suspenseful, exciting story is about the fate of one person, not the entire universe, hanging in the balance.
  6. Isn't Passover the current holiday?
  7. Even though Kelly has a producer credit, I'm sure it's in name only, it's just a title that's included in her contract. She's certainly not in the decision making process, as evidenced by her being kept out of the loop re MS's departure. At this rate, it looks like we won't be getting a permanent co-host until the new season starts in September.
  8. The winners were the viewers who didn't tune in.
  9. I'm not buying it either. I saw JL on Live With Kelly, and all JL talked about was Joan's sad history, from her sick relationship with her stepfather, through her boarding school days, right up to her mistreatment by Hollywood big wigs.
  10. There's way more to the story, I'm hoping they dive into it next episode.
  11. Also a sign the contestants weren't fucking idiots. Please don't. He did the same thing on Hollywood Game Night; went for the cheap instead of helping the civilian win some money. Stay home.
  12. The producers of Live! have never issued a statement concerning a co-host search since Michael left the show. There's been speculation by media outlets, but no word from the people in charge.
  13. He looked nothing like William Castle, JW was representing him in spirit only. Ironically the severed head that rolled out from behind the curtain did look like William Castle, complete with shock of gray hair. The New York Times coined 'hagsploitation'? Gosh, these women never caught a break, they got it from all sides. Favorite line: "I've never been lucky."
  14. According to my DVR, it's airing this weekend Saturday April 8, 2017 @ 11pm.
  15. He couldn't! His hand had a drum-inflicted boo-boo!
  16. Blind items, esp about women in charge, are always to be trusted! :)
  17. Thanks guys! I just checked IMDB and it appears HH is directing the episode that airs Sunday April 16, 2017.
  18. Just curious, how is Helen Hunt involved with Feud?
  19. Well, there's the show and then there's the hate. While JC and HH did wage a phone campaign for the Best Actress race, I'm not convinced it was that effective. While I appreciate the show and what it's trying to do, it's totally undercutting Anne Bancroft's performance, she was fucking amazing. And while BD was also amazing, BD already had two Oscars for Chrissake. AB totally won that Oscar fair and square. Even though BD won, after the ceremony she was home, albeit miserable, but she was home with friends and family. JC went home to a big, empty house. Who really deserves the pity here? After watching this episode I admire BD more than I ever did, and I feel sorry for JC more than I ever did.
  20. Same here, but I find that compelling!
  21. Seriously, who puts a bandage on over pants? CTU Medical has gone downhill since Obamacare!
  22. I don't think Anne Bancroft would've cared about all that stuff that BD and JC cared about. She most likely didn't care that she was still in character when JC presented her with the Oscar. I'm sure Mother Courage got some extra weeks of performances thanks to the Oscar win and all the hoopla surrounding it. I disagree that this was RM's thesis. JC and BD weren't enemies because of the men around them, they were enemies because they were professional rivals, because BD was an actress first and and a star second, and JC was the polar opposite. There were many other factors, it certainly didn't help that the powerful men around them manipulated them, but it surely wasn't the sole reason these two women were feuding.
