  1. Episode 1 introduced the inhabitants of the house quite nicely, some are quite likable, some not so much. I'm more of a Cherry Grove person so it's nice to see how the other half lives. The aerial shot of the houses in the Pines along the shore with their massive pools was stunning.
  2. With 6 finalists there's a 1st, 2nd and 3rd for men and women.
  3. Have you seen the lists of guests? Yes! That would be tomorrow, former Kardashian spouse, Caitlyn Jenner.
  4. That's the concise political analysis The View is known for. The panel really gives women a bad name.
  5. No, they made the right decision. The View wasn't a good fit for NW. I liked her and I liked her take on things political, but she wasn't great on the pop culture/light-hearted topics. Granted she was 100 times better than 3 current hosts (Whoop, Paula and Jed), but The View wasn't where she belonged. MSNBC is, for the most part, she hasn't been on Morning Joe since Mika was a total asshole to her post 2016 election.
  6. Right! He was dumb long before he was a liar!
  7. Or they could've cut a segment of Hot Topics, sometimes HT goes on for 35 minutes! Does anybody need to hear that much Jediblahblah?
  8. We've had a local theater called a 'triplex' for years and it was always pronounced like triplets. Except when it first opened and a local church thought it read Triple X.
  9. After mentioning Tom Hanks's impersonation of MC, I'm shocked this wasn't brought up, I thought this was the definitive discussion and demonstration of the various Michael Caine accents.
  10. Totally agree, there's so much good television on right now, but this particular show was my only must-see-TV.
  11. You are definitely not Oakland Mother of The Year! :)
  12. The only person I remotely want to hear from is Sheryl Sandberg, but I'm going to pass, I already saw Norah O'Donnell's interview with SS on CBS Sunday Morning. and yes! Thanks ginger90!
  13. That is too funny, that episode just aired recently on one of those retro channels. It opened with JC scrubbing floors!!!
  14. Well, we didn't know for sure. Since the first episode it was captioned '1978, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion'. For years the DCP was synonymous with the Oscars, and with ODeH and JB in gowns, it just had to be at the Academy Awards!
  15. Me too Medicine Crow! I just tried, it wouldn't take!
  16. I don't think so, Davis was a huge soap opera fan. After a long, twisty storyline on The Edge of Night, BD sent a telegram to their writers, commending them on a job well done.
  17. He has two and MF has one, I love that Graham isn't impressed with that stuff, leave that to the American sycophants. He is just getting more and more delightful as he goes. I FF'ed through this, it's sad really.
  18. It left me moved, not depressed. Although, I was hoping for a brief scene of Joan substituting for a sick Christina on Secret Storm.
  19. But wasn't the fake shock over the fact she was Oakland's Mother of The Year and she give the answer "pussy"? I am so glad I'm not a contestant, I thought Dumb and Dumber was the definitive answer for the Ryan Lochte question!
  20. She is 100. I'm only 54 and I can't remember what I had for breakfast.
  21. I wish that born again idiot would point out where in the constitution that we have to tolerate everyone's opinions. In a nutshell, my/your free speech can not be infringed upon by the government. Then I/you have the right to protest that free speech. Real fucking simple, no mention of 'tolerance'.
  22. Isn't Lena the showrunner? Wouldn't she have a say in casting?
