  1. I'm happy the show is renewed. Very happy. But there is no way Season 2 can be better than Season 1. Season 1 had it all, great protagonists, wonderful villains, a complex plot and most importantly, dramatic pacing, including one of the best reveals of recent memory. I hope they can do better!
  2. Pure speculation, but couldn't the LWK&R deal and the AI deal been negotiated all at once, but TPTB decided to announce the LWK&R news first, generate some speculation (your welcome!) and buzz on the AI deal in the media, and then announce the AI deal. It just seems weird to me that Ryan Seacrest signs a deal with LWK&R/ABC, and all of sudden, out of nowhere, this gift-wrapped present from ABC falls out of the sky into RS's Soulcycled lap.
  3. It was also mentioned in the movie Philomena (with Judi Dench) that Russell adopted from an Irish magdalene laundry.
  4. Doesn't it seem that the new AI on ABC is really part of RS's multi-level contract with LWK&R?
  5. Of course, Ana Marie Cox! For some reason I was thinking it was a male MTV correspondent.
  6. Only this show could make Fire Island boring!
  7. Word! Oh, she won't, she's been calling like it she sees it for years. Her recent autobiography was so juicy! These are the kind of interviews I live for. Best episode in months!
  8. Right after she told Gary she had just eaten some fabulous chef-cooked meal, which she didn't finish, she threw out the rest!
  9. I don't see The Widow as a villain at all. Times are tough for everyone who isn't lucky enough to be a Baron, The Widow wants to break down this system. For all intents and purposes she's The Destroyer. The Widow's sigil is a butterfly, Quinn's is an aramadillo. I notice last night that Hassan's was a bird of some sort. I couldn't make out what Chau's is.
  10. Just DVRing today's episode, I love KG. Already saw Condoleezza Rice on CBS Sunday Morning. No one else sounds remotely interesting.
  11. I liked this episode! Thought it was even-handed, everybody got a chance to shine. Everybody, including Amy, was engaged and brought something to the couch. Orlando Bloom is pretty boring, but it wouldn't be fair if he were that good-looking and charismatic too. Not that many episodes of Graham Norton include simulated breast-feeding.
  12. Kathy Griffin is a perfect Brett Somers, just add the drink, the cig and the wig!
  13. I would love to see the outtakes of Julia and Sally playing Selina and Minna, how could they keep a straight face!? Esp Minna saying vagina with a hard g!
  14. I'll never forget Amy yelling out "Remember, he lives in his mother's basement!", during Super Match!
  15. 1A. Male Guest Star seat: Chris? Standup comic, don't know his last name, but he killed when he was on last./Adam Corrolla 2A. Brett Somers seat: Niecy Nash/Jane Krakowski 3A. Charles Nelson Reilly seat: Mario Cantone/Titus Burgess 1B. Elaine Joyce/Blonde Bimbo seat: Cheryl Hines/Caroline Rhea 2B: Richard Dawson seat: Wayne Brady 2C: Fannie Flagg/Patty Deutsch/Betty White/Marcia Wallace seat: Ana Gasteyer/Casey Wilson Hall of Shame/People Who Should Never Darken Match Game's Door Again: Leah Remini, Martha Stewart, Wendie Malick, Valerie Bertinelli and Jay Pharoah.
  16. Definitely not a great mix when you're driving 80 mph on the streets of Paris, trying to elude people who want to take your picture.
  17. To create drama, which practically assures you a spot in Season 2. They don't ask back the boring ones. Good bye Cheyenne!
  18. I'm not a regular viewer of The Talk, but I do notice one thing they have The View doesn't: respect and civility towards one another. They actually like each other! I don't get that vibe from The View.
