  1. Isn't it possible that season 1 is the last we see of Regan McNeill and her family. Season 2 might be Fathers Marcus and Tomas fighting a brand new fight.
  2. Or the red bottom was just makeup.
  3. I can't imagine any of those women agreeing to pose behind their male counterparts. Unlike Mika.
  4. That's what I'm hoping for. Although, this is more likely. Not being a mean-spirited asshole, for starters.
  5. Is this a "message" or is it a realistic view of a character who was married for 30 years to a man she recently found is gay. The implications of that can be quite unsettling. I'm sure the questions "How could I not have known?", "Did he ever love me?", "Was I just a beard?", "Is my whole life fictitious?", are just some of the questions going through Laureen's head. And that would be bad enough, but to add that the ex-husband already has a partner and moved on, and is finally happy and living his truth must kill. Having a self-involved daughter surely doesn't help. Laureen probably married her husband while she was in college or shortly after college. An empty house can be sad. It's likely she has never lived alone. Everybody's moving on; the ex, Hannah's pregnant, the only one in stasis is Laureen. In my view, she's not angry enough! Off topic and totally shallow, but Shosh looked darling in that dress!
  6. I remember feeling for Elijah when the news guy dumped him. But after watching Elijah tell Hannah she's going to be a lousy mother, I feel the news guy was too gentle to Miss Elijah.
  7. Same here. I think that's what this season is all about, human trafficking in many of its insidious forms. Was very glad to see two of the regular AC actors in the previews!
  8. I like Annie too, I like anyone who places huge wagers. Last night she doubled down on a DD and on FJ, she's got my respect. I also love the humility and cheek of someone who describes themselves as an unemployed bartender!
  9. Right, it could be just like Elizabeth infiltrating that Asian-American family last season. There was no convincing or turning there, it was straight up extortion.
  10. Wow, what a great clip, thanks for posting AndySmith! I forgot how much I loved Connor and how much I lusted after Robert Gentry (I forget the name of his character, he must've been the F's attorney). Good dialogue, characters with clear motivations, long term plotting, fantastic staging and music. All these were Bell trademarks - once!!!
  11. I've never been on the show, but I'm fairly certain contestants choose how they identify themselves.
  12. CTU/Tony could be in FBI/Hannibal Lecter mode, using a terrorist to catch a terrorist.
  13. Since P, E and T are concerned about it, I would imagine it's us, meaning American agents. And they're probably watching in case some Russian spies are hoping to turn or kidnap the defector.
  14. Wasn't there a big sticker on William's body bag that said DO NOT BURN! Isn't their house, its decor and how its set up part of their cover? It should reflect E&P the suburban travel agents lives, not E&P the Russian spies lives.
  15. I was disappointed Alex didn't elaborate on FJ.
  16. That was William's last job. Isn't that the story of every tourist, immigrant or refugee?
  17. When and if that happens, I'll be pissed too. But right now, Hannah just found out, anything can happen.
  18. Neither do I. And that's a good thing. I hate watching shows with cliched dialogue and predictable plots.
  19. While I love the show, Phillip and Elizabeth are a pair of cold-hearted killers. They are great KBG agents. I would love some sort of poetic justice. After living years in the USA with all its creature comforts, it would be satisfying seeing them working mundane unfulfilling, jobs (much like the German spy in The Lives of Others) in a drab, gray post-USSR Russia with their angry, bitter children.
  20. Where can I find the preview? What channel is it airing on? And just for the record, I've never been a fan of any reality show produced by Kelly and Mark's company Milojo. Aha! Found it. It'll air on LOGO. Doesn't look any more stereotypical than Finding Prince Charming, another LOGO show. To be specific it's set in Fire Island Pines.
  21. Locke is going to redeem himself by rescuing Andy. He'll rush in, fully armored and armed, screaming "RELEASE MY BOYFRIEND!!!" Classic case of liberal values triumphing over religious fundamentalism.
  22. I've attached a link to the Fire Island Wikipedia page. It includes a list of 20 communities within 2 towns. Of these 20 communities only 2 are extremely gay friendly, Fire Island Pines and (my favorite) Cherry Grove, so it seems that more straight couples go to Fire Island than gay couples (and singles). Just friendly and friends with gay men, no obsession.
