    There's a new Verizon commercial featuring contrived phone destruction or damaging, but the one with the phone sinking into a boiling brown substance makes me wonder why the person on the phone seems to know what is happening. That's not how it works!

    I hate that Verizon commercial because the scenes of people breaking their phones are so contrived.

    Yeah, Scandoval gave this show a lifeline, albeit a temporary one. I like the concept of people from this show "graduating" to The Valley, but not LaLa! I'll give the new cast a chance but will probably be like "Oh yeah, Jax did the same thing in season 4"! for the entire time.

    I think it's all going to seem recycled and inorganic, like most remakes, with them trying to repeat the story beats of the original cast. Agreed. Why do we want to see people imitating Stassi and Jax, etc? Whatever happened to that sandwich shop?
