  1. Possibly, considering she isn't mentioned in the post. Don't think it's a bad thing though. She'll be 18 in a few weeks time and has family nearby. (I'm specifically thinking about Garrison and Gabe here, definitely not Kody) She may even stay with one of them, come to think of it?
  2. Christine has openly admitted to struggle with jealousy. Not sure if it had to do with being 'legally married' though. She was raised within a polygamous community and has always stated that she wanted to be the 3rd wife. Not the first, not the second. So I doubt the status of legally vs spiritually married really mattered to her. The big problem was Kody failing to acknowledge her and treating her like his least favourite wife. And then Robyn came along and she got pushed even further down the totem pole, despite being heavily pregnant with what should have been Kody's last child. It must have been pretty painful to see your husband capable of expressing these feelings to others, but not to you. I suspect her jealousy stems from this. And a legal divorce would have been an absolute nightmare indeed! Especially considering their messy financial arrangements and Kody's frantic and vengeful behaviour.
  3. Most of the kids are wiser than Kody, which is a good thing. Kody seems to love his kids until they find their own voice and start asking awkward questions. He surrounds himself with people who adore him and if you don’t, he doesn’t want you. When you actively confront him, he becomes angry and says vicious things in an attempt to make you feel bad and shut you up. He can’t get a hold on Paedon and Janelle’s boys, apart from Gabe, because they usually don’t engage, turn around and leave when he does that. Gabe actually tries to talk and reason with him and that doesn’t work with Kody who then makes him cry.
  4. This! Kody couldn’t care less about Christine staying or leaving. But he does care about the damage it does to his ego and manhood. He was dumped, it’s as simple as that and he hates it because he was convinced it would never happen to him.
  5. In the past, they had joint finances and they said they all had equal shares. There were several arguments about Meri demanding the same amount of money and an equally big house as the rest for just the two of them. They may have had this financial arrangement until some time in Arizona, but we have long since suspected this is no longer the case, especially with Janelle, Christine and Meri working a rather successful career with those MLM's, Robyn still doing nothing and Kody abandoning them completely over the past few years. Now, I do not believe Kody's claim about that deposit at all. But if there is any truth in it, the only thing I can come up with, is that Christine's down payment came from their joint finances at the time, which technically means that all 5 paid for it, not just Robyn and Kody. Or maybe from the sale of her LV house, which Kody probably claimed as his too. Also, Kody was mysteriously removed from the deed of Christine's house just before they bought Robyn's mansion. Financially a stupid decision if you funded part of the house, have no legal connection to your partner and then sign away all ownership.
  6. By @Yeah No from the Spoiler and Social media topic. This is one thing that keeps us all divided here on the forum: Does he really have no clue about how he comes across and that people are doubting his sanity? Or is he indeed playing us all for the sake of the show? I Firmly believe the first. Kody has such a big ego that I doubt he'd willingly make a fool of himself for a few bucks. He'd happily throw everyone else under the bus or sacrifice them in another way for the money, but not himself. I really think he believes his own truth, his own divine personality and is convinced of the vicious betrayal of everyone else. It fits his personality of a demi god who can do no wrong and is above everyone else.
  7. Wow, this is absolutely ridiculous! Come on, as parents of the groom you should be united for once. Gosh, even my parents were able to do that and heavens know how much they detested each other. If they were still together as a polygamous family, Kody would have sat next to Janelle. I have to agree with you here that there can't possibly be any form of relationship or pretend marriage between Janelle and Kody anymore.
  8. Oh yes he was. I’ll never forget because Kody thought it was ok to bother Christine’s OB with the fertility issues of another wife when she was in full labour…. I was appalled when I watched it on tv; Christine was really struggling at that point in her labour, and there was Kody sitting next to her inquiring after IVF options for Meri?? That was season 1 and I remember thinking “wow this really is an insensitive douchebag of a husband!”
  9. I feel for you and agree with all you say. Autism comes in many different forms. Some barely struggle, but others, like my mother, keep fighting a battle they can’t win. It really helps us all to just say she has a pretty severe form of autism when we try to explain it. People are more accepting and forgiving of her when they know she really can’t help her multiple social faux passes and odd behaviour. Back to Truely; yes she can be a bit odd at times, but I never specifically thought of ASD. We all have some odd characteristics, some more than others. I would like to point out that there are several Browns who can display some odd or different behavior, or did so in the past. Is it a character trait or how they were raised? Maybe. But I cannot rule out the strange family dynamics they were part of, combined with the multiple moves and the cameras that showed every bit of your life on tv….
  10. This actually makes sense when I think of Kody and Robyn and what we have seen of them during the show. It wouldn’t surprise me if they did their own research and decided that the vaccine was as dangerous as the disease….Kody is crazy enough to believe it.
  11. According to rumors,Kody wasn’t vaccinated so I have to assume that if this is true, Robyn wasn’t either. I know it was mentioned a while back, and most found it rather strange considering their fear of catching Covid, don’t know thr source of this rumor. Maybe someone else out here remembers something?
  12. Agree, I have seen the posts but... From a little research online I didn't get the idea that Kody is a big guy in this business. There doesn't seem to be an online/actual store unless he owns one in secret that has a completely different name. He seems more like a guy who travels to gun shows and/or sort of sells guns on the side. And fortunately, those don't come cheap (imagine the disasters!) And also, he has to buy them himself before he can sell them with a profit. So what he sells them for, is only a partial profit. To conclude; Yes, I am sure he has some form of income from this, but I highly doubt this is enough to fund his over the top-mortgaged mansion, two (soon to be 3) kids in college, his gardener and nanny and the Victoria's Secret bills of the Mrs....
  13. What really struck me when I read this post: Robyn could not find a suitable huge rennal for her family but Meri managed to snap up one palatial mansion after another?? That really contradicts Robyn’s claim that there were no rentals. Obviously there were big rentals available as Meri proved over and over again. So what was going on? I think Robyn and Kody planned on buying mcmansion at an early stage. Robyn’s whining and praying for rentals was just for the show or to mislead her sisterwives. An alternative possibility: I can see how those huge expensive houses require extra security in terms of a guaranteed rent. Meri seems to have an income from the show and a solid income flow from Lularu. And we have often discussed Kody’s dodgy financial state. How does he provide for this family? He is a huge spender with no obvious jobs or income apart from TLC. I can totally see problems here if he has to show proof of a guaranteed income or whatsoever. And there is the extra issue of renting out to a reality show family as Meri found out. All reasons for landlords to refuse prospective tenants if they have better options available.
  14. As always, I’m happy to join the banana discussion. Here’s one of my favorite Sesame Street sketches. A deaf Ernie with a banana in his ear and Bert desperately trying to knock some sense in him… Ernie’s like Meri, playing with bananas, doing stupid things and deaf to any sensible advice…. Enjoy!
  15. Lots of people pretend to have a very luxurious lifestyle but have multiple creditcards, financed cars, computers and phones and often several extra loans to pay for the rest. It's so easy to pretend to be wealthy when you are actually quite poor. I firmly believe that the Browns have a lot, but own very little.... Big mistake! Especially with the power of internet/social media.People know Mykelti is expecting twins soon and would love to know how she's doing, but instead we get to see the birth of Avalon?? The same goes for TLC's "major scoop" about Christine leaving. Really? It was all over the internet when it happened. It gives the viewers another reason not to watch. We already know so why should we tune in?
  16. Of course you charge your husband for breakfast! That's Meri logic, just like you do so with your sister wife. What a loving tight-knit bunch they are, not to mention their united front as polygamy champions.... As for Kody's depiction as a bitter, contradictory monster: I doubt the producers are getting anything else than this cantankerous ass, so that's what they're working with. Happy, two-faced, deceitful, energetic and sort of occasionally caring surfer-dude died a long time ago.... I'm starting to feel sorry for the production team that has to fill about 45 minutes with this thrash....
  17. She indeed seems to see herself as the family scapegoat. She's said so herself a few times on the show. I also agree with you that she realises that Kody is pretty screwed up. Again as she said so a few times and certainly looks like she's exhausted (and desperate?) But I do think she is aware of the role she played in this mess . She may not believe it's all her fault, but she knows many of the current problems lead back to her and the rather dubious parts she's played over the years, making her a major cause for the family falling apart the way it did.
  18. She has confessed a number of times how hard it can be to live with Kody fulltime over the last couple of episodes and during the previous season. I tend to believe her, particularly because she looks so worn, exhausted and unhappy compared to earlier years. My gut tells me it's really Kody who doesn't want to go back to his nomadic existence of racing from one house to the next and "looking after" 4 instead of 1 family. And Roby discovered that having Kody to herself is actually a living nightmare. It wouldn't surprise me if she secretly wants to go back to some form of polygamy, just to have Kody off her back for a little bit and because of the steady cashflow Meri and Janelle provide. It could pay for her nanny and if she has one, she doesn't need Kody 24/7 to look after them either.
  19. It's not just that, it's all about the pose they picked! So many expecting couples take pictures with their partner's arms lovingly around them and cradling the bump... And when you look at SM, it's also a classic pose to tell the world you are expecting, so that's why I thought they were pregnant too. And now I'm starting to wonder if it was deliberate? Just to extract such opinions so that they can respond accordingly fly of the handle and tell the world once again how obnoxious we all are?? It would definitely fit their pattern of being provocative and respond accordingly.
  20. Oh well, nothing she does, or has done ever made sense to me.
  21. I’ve tried to come up with reasons that could explain the provocative, raging anger in Leon. I find it hard to come up with a really good explanation. Part of their character could of course be explained by Meri’s parenting and the example she set in how she treated others, the odd family situation and an inner conflict about one’s true identity. But would this all add up and create the provocative, raging anger and the need to condemn everyone for what they’re doing? Or are we just seeing a very brave, loud and rude but non-existing digital Leon on SM. One that is completely (ok maybe just a little*) different from the real Leon? * I know Leon never was the most likeable person to begin with of course. And someone who, as a rule, seemed to be against most things. Oh and definitely lacked a sense of humor!
  22. Fixed that for you ;-)
  23. Nowadays almost everything you say can be interpreted as offensive, whether it was meant to be or not. People tend to forget that we usually mean well and are genuinely trying to be nice or interested instead of being rude. Even a concerned "are you allright?" can be interpreted as an angry "So you think I look awful?" I find it all pretty upsetting because it creates so much negativity and conflict for no reason.... And that's the whole thing I don't like about Leon: Almost everything is seen as offensive; as a personal attack on their person or what they believe in, even when it's obviously not. Just another reason to stand up and fight and come up with an incredibly rude reply. (Talking about offensive: Leon's language on SM; that's what I find offensive!)

I guess that depends on a few things: A: whether it's a planned hospital admission, and B: whether everything goes according to plan with no complications. TLC will have to work out an agreement with the hospital involved, which takes time. If it turns into an emergency, the hospital will probably deny filming too as they do not want a drama to unfold before the cameras. These two reasons probably also explain why we didn't get to see anything from Truely when she had kidney failure and from Evie when she was rushed into hospital right after birth. There was no time to ask the hospital for permission and both were real emergencies. (Plus an ICU and neonatal unit or children's ICU tend to have visitor limitations as well)
