  1. I think the Director Hunter bit was added purposely after the whole conversation about Ava being the highest ranking officer and Sara emphasizing Agent Hunter and Director Sharp in her goodbyes. Unless it's a misdirect, it's probably to do with Ava's secret and Rip is actually the highest ranking officer thus Gideon has to follow his orders. Isn't the Waverider technically property of the Time Bureau and the legends stole/borrowed it so Director trumps Captain.
  2. Ava's secret...What if she's both a robot AND someone's descendant aka Rip and Gideon's child. Don't know how that would work, but hey anything is possible on this show. I'm liking Wally on this show. I never warmed up to him on Flash but just a few scenes on Legends and I already like him a lot more. Legends has that effect on characters. This episode was a little too Darhk for me and one of my least favorite of the season but still very enjoyable. I found myself thinking some scenes were a little over the top even for this show but somehow it still works! Instead of practicing swiping up/down and sideways Damien should have been practicing front/back swipes! That dangling Nora scene was so frustrating!!!
  3. Somehow Mon El has gotten even more useless and screen hogging this season than he was last. Didn't think that was possible. Can we kill him off and just keep Imra? Supergirl has gotten pretty one note. Doesn't feel like we've seen much of Catco lately...half the cast seem like guest stars...and the same two storylines get dragged on forever. Too bad about livewire but it was pretty much telegraphed from the start. Would have liked to see her reunite with Cat one last time though. Really miss Cat's wisdom and zingers. Manel as the wise soudingboard just doesn't do it for me. I'm over this Reign reveal getting dragged out so it better be coming soon. It has no emotional impact on me whatsoever though because Sam and the kid became part of the family overnight. She gets hired by Lena and the week after she's her and Kara's best friend? Okay...
  4. I just rewatched this season and wow, I remember Colton was awful but I didn't remember just HOW awful. Karma indeed. Kim did well in a season of mostly idiotic followers but over ten seasons later there's no way she could have won it now with the way the game has evolved. I kinda miss the seasons where people make solid alliances and it's nice to see that awarded at the end rather than random blindside after blindside for the sake of it. But at the same time I couldn't believe how dumb these people were keeping her around. Kat was a special character. I couldn't believe how airheaded she was at times but she had a lot of heart and her appendix joke was one of the best laughs I've gotten out of survivor and so was her exit comment about getting voted off before freaking Tarzan and Christina. Her final speech made me cry and I'm sure solidified Kim's win. If she only did it to ''redeem herself'' well it worked because the silly 22 year-old was a bigger man than some of those other fella's.
  5. I was rooting for Lauren to win and can't stand Ben but I couldn't even be mad at him for what happened. Finally somebody plays his idol right in an epic move that nobody on the tribe saw coming because he kept it a frickin secret. Lauren was moronic giving her idol away to a rando on the island when her name is on the chopping block. And that extra vote advantage is never gonna get played the right way so might as well leave it on the island when you only have 3 solid votes with 7 people on the island...??? Sigh. All the shit we give Chrissy for always mouthing strategy right next to the person she's talking about but these morons couldn't even keep a lookout while talking about blindsiding someone or play it off right...Good thing they put Ben in the actor role last episode because none of them could have pulled it off. As much as I hate him, he deserves to win...especially if they keep him around even longer.
  6. Other than the obvious, I think it also has to do with the epic Parvati girls alliance season. That left a mark lol. People are petrified of it now apparently. Parvati will always be one of my faves because of her ability to pull that off so beautifully. I don't get why everybody hates Joe. Other than beign a little annoying the first episode, he seems pretty normal and fine to me. He's even one of the more loyal players this season. And a lot of it is just an act. The look in his eyes even seemed like he got his feelings a little hurt at tribal although he cracked an arrogant joke. I liked Desi but her Lauren vote showed how out of the loop she was so she deserved to go. She was playing an under the radar game but you can't do that when you're a comp beast. She had to be more socially aware and strategic to get further, but she never tried anything. She should have worked on Ashley to flip her and JP over to the healers side by pointing out all the big threats on the 7person alliance and that Ashley is on the bottom over there. Even Cole didn't seem so bad this episode. I never liked Ben and he gets more annoying every episode. And Mike is such a non entity I forget he has an idol or even what his name is most of the time. Devon is nothing more than Ryan's second vote at this point. Grow some balls and do something man. JP's game is working out pretty well for him so far surprisingly. I hope he goes on an immunity streak when these morons finish voting off all the likeable players and proves Ali right.

    S08.E03: Monsters

How many warriors do the Saviors have? Our group keeps mowing them down by the dozens and yet they keep sprouting up for reverse ambushing. I find it hard to believe that hundreds of people would be so ruthless and "Negan" without questioning. Even seeing how Negan handled the likes of Dwight and Eugene...I just can't buy it. I know we've encountered ruthless leaders before but...I could buy the governer because most of his crew were ignorant to his true nature, I could buy Terminus because their experiences shaped them but the Saviors having hundreds of people fully aware of what a sadistic, volatile asshole Negan is and nobody revolting? Especially when things start getting dicy? Maybe I believe in the goodness of humanity too much...Can't forget Nazi germany happened too. This episode felt like threading water...Can't even distinguish between what happened in episode 2 and 3...feels like one long episode. Morales getting an arrow through the head after years of fan theories was hilarious. I wasn't sure how to feel at the moment I was watching it (annoyed or amused) but the laugh that bubbled up decided for me. I'm glad because the actor left much to be desired and I couldn't handle more of that. I would have been truly shocked in a good way if the kingdom group actually escaped unscathed from a succesful mission. They were spelling out that massacre in neon flashing letters. The shooting back and forth was annoying because I had no idea who was who half the time. Eric died boohoo so sad. For some reason I thought he had died last season already before he showed up again lol. The hilltop scenes were fun. I love to hate Gregory. Wish Maggie had mowed down the hostages and when she ran out of bullets, grabbed a stunned Jesus's gun and shot down the remainder + Gregory for good measure. The characterization of Jesus makes zero sense. I like seeing more of Tara but wish she had shown some backbone and killed them like she wanted. It would make me respect her more.
  8. While I respect Chrissy's succesful scrambling because I hate it when players just accept their fate without even trying...I dislike her because of her attitude about it. Rather than approach it from an it's me or you sorry not sorry attitude...she got so vicious about it for no reason whatsoever. I can understand why Ryan chose to keep Chrissy but he made a big mistake by not telling Ali. Ali is reasonable and if he were smart, he would have convinced her (or at least told her) with the argument that they can't keep THAT many healers around even if his true reason is keeping someone who is close to him (Chrissy) rather than to Ali (Roark). I hope this comes back to bite him...But Ali is in trouble if they lose especially if she makes a big fuss about it and alienates herself even more. With the merge in mind, Ryan and Chrissy could also decide to go for JP. He could be dangerous if he teams back up with Lifeguard girl in a merge situation. Chrissy knows his loyalty wouldn't be to her. JP and Ben are the same to me...nice enough but boring muscle who are not strategic. I'm rooting for Desi, Ali and Lauren (I find her grumpiness pretty funny). Joe is my favorite guy surprisingly. I'm looking forward to having a female challenge beast post merge with Desi hopefully. I'm quite enjoying this season because there is nobody truly unlikeable. Even the assholes are redeemably villanous and there are several people I'd like to see win.
  9. I just started pagecatching, so sorry if someone already said this. I figured when her conclusion to the game he led her to was Arya becomes lady of Winterfell...she started second guessing and analyzing again. Because she knows that isn't Arya and Arya even said so when she ''threatened'' her. So she played the question game with LF and obviously had off screen conversations with Bran and Arya to confirm everything. The scene with Sam proved Bran can visit a specific moment in time to search for an answer. Maybe he even knew already and was waiting for Sansa to come to him. But they wanted to mislead the audience, so that entire storyline got told in the worst way possible.
  10. There were a few reasons I hate the battle scene and it will forever be my least favorite, despite the awesome dragon action: - Dany burning the food. Whyyyyy? She was complaining that she couldn't feed her dothraki horde 5 minutes ago. Why not fly her dragon to the front of the supply line, burn a row of fire across the road so they are forced to stop (a coupld of carts going up in flames here is inevitable I suppose) and then have the dothraki fight those soldiers while they are shocked and unorganized and secure the food - Meanwhile she can fly back and crisp those soldiers and archers forming neat lines without burning her Dothraki army and - scouts are scouting from the sidelines for noble hostages like Jaime, Tarly,... who can be easily surrounded and taken by - Dothraki who far outnumber the Lannisters who are being burned to a crisp anyway. But I guess being logical is out the window. As well as every character being fair game to die. GoT has become so predictable that I had zero fear Jaime or even Bronn would die and that's the worst crime of all. Where's the show that killed the main character in s01e09?? I feel zero chemistry between Jon and Dany and I hate that this is a storyline we are forced to endure because it's a romance that was always planned. All these BIG MOMENTS are just things I have to endure between small gems (heartbreaking or heartwarming) like unappreciated Meera, Brienne smiling at the Starks,...I've watched that Brienne/Arya fight scene twenty times already not just because of the awesome choreography and humor, but because it feels earned. Not, Jon and Dany are supposed to fall in love so we will put them in a cave, dim the lights, have them stand real close together and there you go...chemistry!
  11. Is it giving Sansa too much credit to think that she publicly opposed Jon on purpose so that anyone who might be against him would come to her with their schemes and she would know about it? Whereas if they were a united front, somebody working to betray them would go completely unnoticed. Littlefinger for example reveled in it and thinks he can get Sansa on his side over Jon. Whereas in the private conversation between Jon and Sansa it was clear to me that she is firmly with him and loves him and just doesn't want him to be too trusting like their father and brother.
  12. I think she'll kill the Mountain but be too weakened to take on Cersei as well. And when she's on the brink of being killed by Cersei, Jaime will be faces with a difficult choice between his oath to protect Aria and his love for Cersei combined with the difficult nuance of being the Kingslayer who has stabbed his King in the back before because it was best for the realm. He's witness to Cersei destroying everything and everyone and it will be ironic that he got rid of the Targaeryan dynasty by stabbing his King in the back and will help usher in the Targaeryan dynasty by stabbing his Queen in the back again. Or by wrapping his hand(s) around her throat...
  13. Just binged this show and damn it, she was one of the only characters keeping me interested. The twins dynamic was one of the most fascinating in the show or any show for that matter. I was already bummed that there was so little of them interacting in season 2. But now she won't even be back... and of course we are left with the most boring, cliché characters in Ryan and Shelby. Anyone cast as Caleb's uncle that she can sleep with next?
  14. The water problem is manageable for now because they have a well. It could become a problem if it stays dry too long now that they have the native Americans joining them but even then, they can go out and find some. They have cars and horses. And that dam is only a couple of hours away. They could even set up some trade deal with that group. It's not an insurmountable problem. I doubt they will run out of resources soon. Did you forget about that gigantic warehouse? Even with that many people, they are set for at least a year. And they have crops and animals...They are basically living on a bigger version of Hershell's farm. And remember, after TWD characters lost that, they nearly died because moving around and scavenging for supplies was that hard. Some viewers just love to complain about nothing.
  15. I want that Next Gen show so Maya's cousin and crew can chase and get chased by Addison's killer for the next 7 seasons to finally discover that what Maya knew is that the kid Ezria ends up adopting is Alex Drake/Toby's love child and ultimately responsible for the torture because the game is so addictive and transcends time, space and generations.
  16. Wasn't Nick walking specifically towards Tijuana when he found Luciana's community? I don't remember if there was a reason for that. Like, was Madison's group headed to Tijuana too? Regardless, that was only 100 miles from the burned down compound and Madison was specifically going in circles looking for Nick for two days before settling in the nearby hotel. Then the hotel lady specifically went to the supermarket that Luciana's group and all surrounding groups go to so that is how they found each other. It was coincidental but there was a reason for it, not just random. Travis and Chris was harder to believe that's why they needed Madison to light up the hotel at the exact same time that Travis could see it. But again, he was looking for her and that strip of Mexico isn't as populated as the USA so I assume there is only the main road and a logical direction to follow because the rest is desert. Then Nick saw the helicopters and went to that army base at the border. The pharmacist told Madison that Nick went to the border and again, if you follow the main road from Tijuana to the border I'd assume you'll wind up at that base. Of course Strand would end up knowing the dam guy where Daniel just happened to end up but that is tv. Point is, there were very specific reasons for why they ended up where they ended up. They aren't just wandering along miles of desert and happening to run into each other. I'm over Ophelia. I don't even care about the character anymore nor do I want her back. She wasn't developed enough to miss her. The actress said that they scrapped her storyline at the end of last season because apparently she had filmed something. I wonder if they are still planning on using that footage or if they came up with something else entirely. But it's so weird that she's not in the show because isn't she a regular? And nobody cares enough for it to be a mystery because to the main characters she isn't even missing. Other than Daniel of course who is JUST back himself.
  17. I stopped paying close attention to the show and creating theories after the Charles reveal and barely remember the plot episode to episode. I tried giving it another real chance with the time jump but when they pulled out the mission impossible masks I went NOPE and only watched for the interactions between the characters. So this finale was exactly what I expected. Not exciting nor disappointing. It was no longer possible for me to be disappointed because expectations were that low and there were no real stakes because the foundation was so weak. It's too bad that they even managed to make the friendship between the girls become hollow. That was the only strength the show had left. Everything became way too convuluted and disingenuous (the realness of the characters and their actions is what kept the show grounded the first couple of seasons) so I was relieved to see 2 small rays of realness. The first was the disfuntion that is Haleb. Despite the "happy ending" I was left with the feeling that they need a lot of work and therapy for their relationship to last, but at least it seemed real. The second was Emison. I'm glad Emily was still paranoid and called Alison out when Alison was only trying to propose. It also left me with the feeling like haleb that despite the deep love there, there are some issues that need to be worked on and the characters and audience are aware. Unlike the fakeness that is Ezria and Spoby who were fucked up from the start and will forever be fucked up no matter how many parents give their blessing.
  18. He was even trying to use it wrt Brett and Sunday. Uhm, if your head is on the chopping block and you and the whole tribe know it, it's not a blindside Jeff. I probably would have enjoyed this blindside if I didn't like Michaela so much. Regardless, this move was way too soon and I think it's gonna cost Jay. He has a chance because he still has the idol and a few people in his corner if he reconnects with Taylor and Michelle, but he'll need to win immunity A LOT. There haven't been too many memorable (in a good way) potential returnees in the last couple of seasons but Jay and Michaela are contenders and it would be classic survivor to pit them against each other in a new season. Jeff probably wet his pants during that staredown and has their season all planned out already.
  19. Yeah, when Nick left the Colonia (it was even a bit in slowmo as they crossed each other with Nick looking in the other direction) and I think again when the whole colonia left. It was definitely supposed to be a Chris tease but you could only see him from the back. He had the same clothes and hair and his bone was sticking out from his leg. It definitely looked like it was the actor. But that must mean Brandon lied about putting down Chris which makes no sense in the situation... I have mixed feelings about the finale. The first hour was more exciting than the second. According to Mercedes Mason part of Ofelia's story was cut. It feels like she was barely even in this season. I thought that was gonna be Daniel who found her but it's someone else. Same people as Nick's military dudes? Or are they 2 groups at war? When I actually felt disappointed that Nick didn't get shot dead, I realized how much they have ruined his character for me this season. I'd rather he have died than Chris. Chris dying off screen with us left wondering what really happened through Travis's imagining scenarios feels strange for a main character. It has a kind of realism for that world and it's ironic I suppose but still unsatisfying. Why does everyone think he was written off because he got another gig? Doesn't it make more sense that he was killed off and found another gig? I suspected he was gonna die when he appeared at San Diego Comic Con with short hair but had doubts because I figured they would hide the haircut more if he died. Then when he appeared on Talking Dead with the hat I knew for sure lol. It's exciting that Alicia killed someone. Madison is the worst. Travis being a savage was oddly satisfying. I hate that Strand didn't go with them but I totally understand it. That Hector guy was annoying. Dude, chill. Did he really bond that much with the guys who kidnapped him in those two days? I thought Alicia's the one he was giving surfing lessons to...next thing he's pushing her into a wall. If Nick, Lucy and Ofelia end up at the same military compound, that's gonna be awkward #nicrophelia
  20. I got a kick out of seeing walker Chris and Nick crossing paths (twice). I kept hoping chris would bite Nick and Travis and Madison would find them and get killed by them in their grief. Alicia could meet back up with Strand as my fav duo.
  21. So Alycia and Mercedes are confirmed for next episode. Wonder if the third guest is going to be Cliff or Frank or someone else entirely. A bit strange that Mercedes is coming back on so soon after her previous appearance when from the synopsis it seems like Travis and Nick are front and center in the finale. Are they out of the country? Frank is awkward in interviews and I've heard he has social anxiety but putting him on the show with 2 other cast members might ease the pressure a bit.
  22. Ugh this challenge is always great at reminding me why I hate Louis as a judge. I was so happy when they finally got rid of him. Alas.
  23. I think Brandon had to kill James to prove a point to himself because he couldn't do it before for the friend who really needed it. He was blinded by those similar circumstances reason be damned. (But really who the fuck cares about the psychology behind douchebro's actions so that just ended up making no sense because we're seeing it from Travis's pov). The other dude is too weak to have an opinion and Chris is completely off the deep end. Bye bye baby James. I didn't think Kim D was as bad as people were saying but wow, this episode she was horrible. Zero emotion during all of her scenes. Her only saving grace is that she has an emotive tone of voice but that wasn't enough this time. I loved Alicia's incredulous 'it's not important?!' wtf Madison lol you can't mention there's a note and then brush it off. Alycia mentioned this weekend at Comic Con Copenhagen that a lot of that scene had to be ADR'd so I paid attention to it and it was really noticeable. Took me out of it a bit. Cliff did a good job carrying this episode. Him and Kim were like opposite sides of the acting spectrum. Anyone else think that lady was hit by the same crazy batlady who ran off Nick in the premiere lol
  24. So Travis is going to show up and they'll be forced to take in a bunch of red shirts when they open the gates for him. Travis is going to be upset from whatever the fall-out with Chris is. And my prediction is that he's going to start a fight with someone and per Madison's rules need to be kicked out and that'll cause some tension and trouble re special treatment. But on the bright side they have ice for any swollen knuckles and eyes.
  25. But Nick CHOSE to leave. He didn't get abducted or lost on a run or seperated by a herd. He said adios and walked off on his own. Madison thinking he might have changed his mind is stupid wishful thinking. Putting the lights on was just mindnumbingly idiotic on so many levels and not even the most efficient way of finding Nick. I could understand wasting the fuel to go have a look around that area (oops, no ice for a week...) because yes, she's his mother. But what she did? No. It looks like they had two backpacks full of precious supplies so that's sufficient reason to sneak away. He was abandoning his duties to go looking for a better place AND stealing resources... I missed the part about the girl being sick but that scout is the one who found Pablo cut in pieces by the gang. Trouble is coming and he knows it. I would bounce too. It looked like he had no trouble stabbing the walker in the head so he must not be buying into that particular belief anymore. Strand and Alicia are definitely my faves out of the original group. Nick and Chris are love to hate characters that can stay for a bit longer. I'd happily trade Ofelia, Travis and Madison for Elena, Luciana and Oscar + med student family member.
