Eddie should know by now, honesty is the best policy! Granted, her parents weren't great role models for how to live with a spouse. The games between the mayor and the commissioner need to stop. Nobody wins, nobody looks good. Danny and Baez story was good, and it seems that Danny has learned something with the turn of events. Too bad the false report turned around to bite the brothers in the end.

It’s Easy If You Know It. This needs to be added to the Glossary thread, if it’s not already there.

Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads

In 2019, I was visiting family in the UK, and my 7-year old granddaughter knew the song and sung it a lot! -
Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
zoey1996 replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
So annoyed by those Marie Osmond Nutri System Zoom call ads! “How fun!” No they are no fun at all. Can’t mute fast enough! -
My 4-H project horse, Glory, liked chewing tobacco. Herman was her owner, but Dad had an arrangement where she lived on our farm. I was maybe 12. Hermie convinced me that I should pre-chew the tobacco for her, like he did. I got so sick, never did it again.

I don’t get it. I’ve never seen it and have no idea what it’s about. My DD was like that with onions in chili. I tried cutting them very fine, chunky, average…didn’t matter, she always picked them out! Also taking to off-topic. FJ was another insta-get. I like those!

No, that was the younger boy who was killed by his bio dad. The school bus shooter was a different guy. See @MTLCHICK below

FJ was an instaget for me. Maybe because I’m a Kansan?

Just when you think Beverley can't sink any lower, she does.

I knew Cape Fear from the movie starring Robert DeNiro and Nick Nolte among others.

On her show, “Call Me Kat,” in the first two episodes, a green pantsuit plays a role, and she wears it in at least one scene. I haven’t watched any more episodes yet.

Last night's win was #30 for Matt. James had 32 regular season wins. So a win Thursday ties Matt with James for regular season wins, and a win Friday will surpass James.

I don’t remember who Clair (McNear) is, but googling AmodioRodeo (never heard of that before either) led me to it. I don’t follow Twitter or Reddit either, but I could see it.

I don't think he's deadpan at all. He always does that sly little smile when he answers a question correctly. If he was deadpan, he wouldn't show that reaction.

I also got two Mattserisks for RR and Locusts!

And it made me a bit sad too.

S03.E02: Bowango

Bob's family was present - aren't they white? Probably won't be a big plot point, but I have to wonder how that will work with his school. -
You have more imagination than I do - I can't think of a thing, let alone something fun!

Route 66 was my answer as well, although I thought it was likely incorrect.

By googling, I found this article which explains why insects with six legs can be deemed to have only four: https://naturenoon.com/4-legs-insects/ Quoting: "Before getting into details, let’s make two things very clear: The first one is, “All insects are arthropods, but all arthropods are not insects.” Secondly, an arthropod leg is a jointed appendage used for walking, crawling, or supporting the body while standing. Modified legs are not legs. Keeping the above clarifications in mind, we can conclude that various insects and other arthropods have a reduced number of legs."

I first shouted out, "Who Killed Roger Rabbit" but was able to correct to Framed.

S03.E01: Welcome to Lagos
zoey1996 replied to DanaK's topic in Bob ❤️ Abishola (Bob Hearts Abishola)
The time I remember Abishola asking Dele if he wanted to stay, Tayo was there looking hard at Dele, and I understood that Dele said he did so as not to risk Tayo's wrath if he said he want to go back. I don't think Dele has been given the opportunity to say honestly what he wants. And he probably feels torn. I hope he ultimately is permitted to go back. Bob sweating like crazy! Tunde's slyly trying to negotiate prices, like he was able to do 20 years ago, was a hoot! Did Olu not sweat under her hat? Then Bob's family trying to negotiate getting into Nigeria, and Kemi just breezing on by, was funny and difficult.
