  1. I just can't decide which of these characters is most disgusting.
  2. Here's my take on this show, there are two separate scenarios happening simultaneously. One is for filming - each is given their "role", whether it be mean girl, victim, sexy siren, sweet/innocent, etc. Gerry is in on this as well and understands that when the cameras a rolling, it's all an act. Then, there's what we don't see, what isn't filmed. That's when Gerry actually gets to know the ladies real persona. And, Susan has a million dollar smile! She could do toothpaste commercials!
  3. I'm happy with all the ladies who are left. Garry got a very nice group of women to get to know. I have to say, last night it seemed to me at least that (although they still look GREAT), they have aged a lot since the premiere. I suppose they had glam for the initial meetings. Now, they've had at least a couple weeks of living in a group setting, away from their normal routines and, if it were ME, they are probably not getting a lot of sleep. Not to mention, they are no doubt doing their own hair/makeup. Adding that I think all the women will have full, robust dating lives after the show. Some of them haven't dated in a while, and they got a little taste of the excitement of a new possibility, not to mention they will get recognized from their exposure on the show.
  4. To see Michael at the "altar" in that getup with the costume crown and sword, yeah, I'd bolt too. It's OK to have quirks (Bennett and Amelia were both in on the joke), but on your wedding day you should at least try to bring some serious respect to the table. MAFS thought that they were successful with Amelia and Bennett, but again, they were BOTH in on the joke - performance art! I think blonde got ghosted in the past because she drank too much. Perhaps all the participants were told to amp up the "weird" this season.
  5. Does anyone know/remember the last time we saw Dayton (other than in flashbacks)? He seems to have escaped unscathed.
  6. Gah, lots of talking with nothing being said! What a waste! They have absolutely no criteria to go by to judge whether these pairings will last or not. My dvr didn't pick up the matchmaking special, so I was glad to get an overview of the participants, but these "predictions" are utter nonsense and a waste of time.
  7. I had second-hand embarrassment for these women who were clearly coached that this would be their chance at either making a favorable/lasting impression on the fellow or - even better - being the very first GOLDEN BACHELORETTE! Some things NEVER change! These ladies appear to have much going for them in terms of looks, intelligence and achievements. Stranger couples have been successful, and I hope there will be something new to experience in this iteration.
  8. It was shockingly eye-opening when Yohan was talking with his friend at the gym complaining that another friend dated (married?) an American woman and she bought him a house and a car and all Yohan got was a dog. What a total joke this whole relationship is! The preview of next episode look interesting with them fighting over what Yohan can take when he leaves her. All Kimberly can see is her Bollywood wedding and TLC paycheck. That's really all that matters to her. The previews of the wedding do look pretty spectacular. Does everyone in that part of the world have weddings like that and if so, how do they afford them? The Mary and Brandan storyline is just plain depressing. Everything has already been said about Shakina/Sarper.
  9. I mean, he has to spend a LOT of time in front of the mirror making those curls look "just so", right? And his remark about his sexy pecs and abs made me gasp out loud, coming from someone with the shoulders of a ten-year old.
  10. I wonder if Sarper is/was a gigolo and that's why is tallywhacker tally is so asstronomical??? The entire apartment needs to be disinfected but it's always a good idea to start a new live-in relationship with a new mattress at least. In this case the entire bed needs to go, no doubt about it.
  11. Cheyenne simply has no place on this show, and I will never watch her segments. And, WHY is Amber even shown in the credits??? The one and only time this season so far that her story line has been shown involved Gary and Leah. This show makes no sense.
  12. Kody said something unintelligible in a subsequent talking head about "sending a message to the other wives" about something. My guess is that he and Robyn had a falling out and he was punishing her.
  13. I'm glad this one is over. Along with all the planted materials, I was rolling my eyes about all the remarks to the effect of "If this doesn't work, we're never getting off this island". I'm positive that no matter what, they would've made it home at the end of 21 days.
  14. Good question, I was wondering the same. It's almost as if these children no longer exist.
  15. I'm sure that they can write off a lot of their travel expenses as business expense.
  16. Maybe Christine could get a spinoff show where she counsels unhappy wives in polygamy on how to get out safely and with their own lives intact.
  17. Thank you for making this point, it was just the push I needed to delete this B.S. off my dvr. These people are NOT worth my time! They are nothing but wannabe celebs and no matter how much they spend on their ridiculous parties, it's not gonna impress me one bit. In fact, it has the opposite effect, showing how stupid they are.
  18. Shanika (sp?) has a history of picking the wrong guy, Sarper has a history of bedding thousands of women. What could possibly go wrong? LOL!!!
  19. One of the kids - is it Paedon? - has a Patreon account where she films a reaction while watching an episode. Someone has posted clips in the past. Perhaps she will do one watching the Christmas gift exchange blowup and offer insight and someone here who has access will offer a description.
  20. Ed is one of the ugliest people I've ever seen, both inside and out. Totally disgusting. Angela would've covered more of her boobs with pasties than with that swimsuit, different strokes for different folks, but I find all that fat oozing out between those straps of fabric positively revolting. The underwater shot of her and Molly in the pool - !!!!
  21. I agree with the comments regarding Mary's controlling behavior. I get that she has abandonment issues and maybe (?) some therapy could help. Thank goodness Brandan is speaking up and holding his ground. If he were to try to appease her, I worry that he'd end up snapping and becoming violent. As for Holly running at night, seriously girl, I don't think it's safe to run ANYWHERE alone at night, not even US. I wonder if there are any running groups she could hook up with. It's not ideal, but if she MUST run, get a treadmill. That house they looked at looked quite nice, and the cost seemed reasonable by US income standards. I don't have a clue how much Wayne brings in but he seems to be very secretive about all things financial with Holly. Kenny/Armando seem to be fabricating a story line. I haven't been paying too much attention to Kirsten because I'm too busy doing other things when this show is on to read the captions.
  22. Wasn't the infamous rice krispy Thanksgiving turkey episode filmed IN THEIR HOME during COVID? Also, Kody can come and go as he pleases (i.e. meet Christine in a restaurant), but Robyn can't leave the grounds? They could've met at Meri's Flagstaff place, or a restaurant. Whatever. Maybe Meri thought she could get a glimpse of the ramenhead and Robyn wasn't having it.
  23. I totally missed the point of why the people gathering fruit and ziplining had to be naked, but whatever. Now LaShonna gets to complain that she was eliminated due to implicit bias and racism.
  24. I would bet that Kody had the jacket dry-cleaned IMMEDIATELY to remove any Meri-ness that may have lingered. Much agreement that all the convos were awkward and appeared to be re-enactments. I suggest a new title for Kody's thread, or maybe for the show itself - Kody Brown, Full of Righteous Indignation.
