  1. I'm not sure I follow their insecurities. He's afraid that if she finds out it's going to take longer than originally expected, that she will dump him and find someone else. How does that help her to get to USA sooner? She'd just be starting all over again at square one with someone else, right? And, how does this dude have anything to do with how long the visa process takes anyway? It is what it is, I don't think the applicant has any power over the process.
  2. Ugh, I realized when watching this episode how little I really care about these empty vapid mannequins. Terry looked like he was wearing a scary plastic mask! Actually, now that I think about it, they ALL look like they're wearing scary plastic masks! Pretty sure I'm out on this one, along with NJ, ATL and MIA.
  3. I'm rubbing my palms in anticipation of the elimination challenge mentioned coming in next week's episode.
  4. I never thought I would live to see the day that Tammy would actually make any progress toward a healthier lifestyle, but I thank her for proving me wrong. I wonder if she saw the gates of Hell when she was in a coma and that set her straight.
  5. Wow, thanks so much for digging that up and sharing! It was enlightening but I have to say, I prefer the "before" look. But nothing can help the "I fell asleep while my toddler had access to a sharpie and used my face as a canvas" look.
  6. I think it has a lot to do with the participants. Most have issues which bring them to this drastic point, but their issues remain so they are destined to fail. The rest just come on shows like this for exposure. It's rare to find individuals with normal personalities who are actually invested for the right reasons.
  7. I was incensed at Kwame for not taking Kasia (I think that's her name?) to his home, he is SO slimy!!! Mr. "I'm a very private person" goes on *international* tv to get married, but can't let his "wife" see his home. Surely Kasia can NOT be as daft as she appears! All her sisters - literally EVERY BODY tells her that Kwame is no good and she still appears to be considering him. I miss at least half of the dialogue due to the accents - what the *&^& was in the jar on Zoe's kitchen counter??? Pickled - what???
  8. Matt is generally strange and weird - I find myself focusing on his hair, which appears to be, um, textured? braided? cornrowed? I've never seen anything quite like it before. It reminds me of a wheat field.
  9. And she had the nerve to get all pissy and defensive when someone mentioned her lack of tact in that regard on the aftershow.
  10. It will take me a while to remember names, but the young lady who has never been on a date - how does that even happen??? I guess in this day and age, so many relationships take place virtually so it's unique to actually meet someone "in real life" and, go somewhere and do something.
  11. Just caught the first two episodes on Discovery +. I'm in - we have quirky unmatchable singles and "expert" matchmakers with good reputations to uphold. Throw in a language/culture barrier and sit back and enjoy!
  12. I think I saw a hint of something like that in the preview. Having Jeff do a medical tap would be the perfect solution.
  13. I just have to throw this thought out and get it off my mind - why does everyone seemingly assume that Stacey doesn't have what it takes to win this thing? I recall many an episode where the male of the pair taps out and the woman makes it to the end, so it's not THAT far of a stretch. I get a creepy gut feeling that the others are trying to kill two rivals off with one tap, a win-win for everyone except Stacey.
  14. I went to bed when Pillow Talk started. Then, I got to thinking "What actually was Shaq's answer?" I thought I had already forgotten. When I woke up this morning I thought "Oh yeah, Shaq said no". Came here to confirm and now I see that it was actually a cliffhanger. I wonder if my sleepy subconsciousness was right ? ? ? ?
  15. My rapidly fading memory of this two-hour sh*tshow is that none of them were appropriately dressed to be sitting outside on the farm in the middle of the day. They seem to be dressing for the red carpet at the Oscars.
  16. Gary is just gross. And, ditto what everyone has said about Jeff.
  17. Dibby was giving me Liberace vibes. Anyone over the age of 60 (anyone?) will get the reference: I would watch just to see what Dibby wears to watch TV in!
  18. Well, that was a different twist, for the producers to send in some young handsome dudes to chat up the ladies at the "club". Nicole strikes me as the type who never gets any attention from men so she tries to hang with the "cool girls" to get their leftover rejects.
  19. I have no facts to back this up, but I just have this "sense" that Airris is interested in someone else, maybe someone he hooked up with just before he got married. It seems totally odd that Airris, who says he is so highly sexual, is not at least "trying" out his "wife" and the only logical conclusion I can come up with is that he's committed to someone else in the back of his mind. And also, what IS the point in the intimacy exercises if they have both already promised no sex until after decision day?? I think the experts (and Keisha's superfine hubs) are frustrated with Clint and Gina because they see the two getting along so well. In a successful long-term relationship, this is so rare and golden and a lot harder place to get to than the initial "jump each other's bones" phase. The only reason this could not continue and flourish is if they are both faking it to make it, which is very entirely possible. Shaq is totally over his "nice house, nobody home" wife. Nicole and Chris will put up with each other to keep the MAFS gravy train rolling. They know a good paycheck when they see it.
  20. Yes, I knew Phil was going to drag this out for more than one day, that's his latest formula for catfishing shows. Things that made me shake my head: Catfishee woman claims to not have money for food, but she smokes. How much does a pack of ciggies cost these days?? Also, catfishee woman claims to be disabled, but she smokes. No wonder she believes this BS, she appears to have very low IQ.
  21. Regardless of how the evil stepsisters broke the news, the result would always have been the same - Rishi's family gives a hard NO to marriage to a much older American while also moving out of the family home, along with his family financial support. Rishi is delusional to think that waiting a couple months until the stars aligned would bring a different outcome. I laughed at Yohan making an @ss of himself with Dannielle's ex. I bet he was thinking "She wants to force him on me so bad, I'll make her regret it" and was just as rude as he knew how to be toward her ex. Gabe's sister is going out of her way to be as bitchy as possible, what IS up with that???
  22. Did anyone catch the not-so-subtle shots of Whitney locking eyes with cartoonface guy? She'll be initiating private convos in no time, mark my words!
  23. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I endorse Jen's friends' plan to out Rishi to his family. If Rishi is pulling a "Sumit", he deserves to be called out and Jen needs to give up her exotic fantasy lover and head back home where she won't have to lie and sneak around. Besides, they're both too old for these silly family stories.
