4 Christmases is a terrible movie but this scene where the "dysfunctional" couple kick ass at Taboo because they know each other so well is hilarious:

Some shows will thrive in the Friday Night Death Slot. I remember Smallville getting moved there to die (which had me all hopeful that I'd finally be free), only for it to do extremely well and go three more seasons. So yeah, I don't buy into Friday being a total kiss of death. If people want to watch it, they will.

And now I'm kicking myself for missing the opportunity to use that word! Defenestrate is my favorite $3 word!

Well, Margot and Ian managed to be really creepy with each other at the end there. They made nice matching brain splatters on the pavement, how fitting. Though I did goggle that Jack threw her out that window, it was pretty awesome. So, did Simone survive? I don't think they said.

Yeah, I was kind of waiting for Rhona to break out the rocket launcher.

Echoing the use of Toxic on Chuck, How to Save a Life on Scrubs (Grey's Anatomy used it too but Scrubs did it first) and definitely Have You Ever Seen the Rain on Cold Case. Every time I hear that song, I think of it. I tried to find a YouTube video for this next one but alas, copyright issues must prevent its presence because I couldn't find it. Warehouse 13's use of White Rabbit in the episode "Duped." If you watch the episode on Netflix, they've replaced it with a generic background score, which I think totally makes the scene less effective. It's on the DVDs, though.

S02.E10: By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried

And you know what, one throwaway line to this effect and I'd be fine with that as a conclusion to Paul's Afghanistan backstory because I don't think it's really all that important in the tapestry of the show. Teeny tiny loose thread at most. -
But wait, I saw at least one more female working on the bridge! And there's also Rhona Mitra. We have four!

Helix majorly lowered my expectations so I was happy with this. I find it somewhere on the spectrum between Helix and Last Resort.

I've been assuming that Beth had somehow tracked down Sarah's whereabouts and decided to "check out" with the simultaneous perk of dragging Sarah into it. I find that more likely than "divine intervention," to be honest. -

Marion said "meet your sister." I get the whole thing about soaps rotting your brain. I quit watching them years ago (mostly because the ones I watched were cancelled) so thankfully my thought processes don't immediately go to the worse-case-plot-scenario. -

That's too All My Children for me. It was a ridiculous storyline then and it would be a ridiculous storyline now. I think Charlotte is exactly what they said: a later attempt (with what we already know is incomplete data from the loss in the fire) that only she survived out of 400 tries. And Sarah's apparent guilt over having an abortion was her now knowing how rare it was that she was able to get pregnant, since all the other clones (save for Helena) are barren. I do wonder why Sarah went through with her pregnancy with Kira, since it was seemingly just as unplanned as the first one. -
Shipper Wars: Favorite And Least Favorite TV Couples

Since Merlin was brought up, I always wanted him and Morgana to hook up. They had mad chemistry too. But since she became rather deranged, hate sex was eventually all I was hoping for. Sadly, I didn't get it. -

I would say 'no,' but I'm biased because I find Sleepy Hollow boring. -
My DVR guide said the name of this episode is The Dying Minutes. Loved the fight scene. The cramped quarters of a hallway was a perspective I don't think I've seen much in a fight scene, it was well done.

That Wikipedia entry should be its own pinned post that we can refer people to whenever the subject comes up, instead of having to repost it over and over again.

New Shiner commercial Also, this oldie but goodie pager commercial still sends me into fits of hysterics. The part that kills me is the guy trying to roll down his window.

I just can't do CDs anymore. I'm no longer a fan of physical media. I just need my car to have an AUX port where I can plug in an iPod. Which was fine for a while in my mustang but I decided I was putting too many miles on this precious car so I got another one. Sadly, it had no AUX port. So I had the radio replaced with one that had an iPod cord attachment. But I digress. I love making playlists. Themes. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes I come up with one that's very daunting. These are some examples: Acoustic Classic Country Cover songs Songs about Sex - got the idea for this one from Pitch Perfect Fresh - these are songs that are new. I only keep 30 songs at a time in this list. If I put new ones in, old ones get booted Slow and boring - I came up with this one when I was flying back and forth to the UK a lot this winter. I needed songs with very slow tempos that I could sleep through. Weirdly, classical music had too many exciting interludes, it kept waking me up Summer - I go to the beach a lot, so this is my playlist for when I'm sitting out there States - this one took a long time, finding at least one song for each of the 50 United States. There were some states that were REALLY hard to find, let me tell you... And some that were super easy. Lots of songs about southern states. Sucky Songs I Like - this was requested from another thread. It's songs that are traditionally silly, stupid, but I like 'em anyway. (listed below) All My Life - K-Ci & JoJoAs Long as You Love Me - Backstreet Boys Can't Fight the Moonlight - Leann Rimes The Climb - Miley Cyrus Dirrty - Christina Aguilera Straight Up - Paula Abdul The Sign - Ace of Base Stayin' Alive - BeeGees Waiting for a Star to Fall - Boy Meets Girl Breathless - The Corrs Kissin' U - Miranda Cosgrove Big Girls Don't Cry - Fergie Mmm'Bop - Hanson This Kiss - Faith Hill Yoo Hoo - Imperial Teen Jump - Kriss Kross Magic - Olivia Newton John Bye Bye Bye - *NSync Step by Step - New Kids on the Block Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-a-lot SOS (Let the Music Play) - Jordin Sparks Wannabe - Spice Girls Hey Now Now - Swirl 360 I Think We're Alone Now - Tiffany Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice Hold On - Wilson Phillips What Makes You Beautiful - One Direction Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen Whoo, this post ended up being long...

Riley wasn't surprised about Danny's feelings because she found out last season. Although, she probably thinks he's moved on by now, new girlfriend and all. Who, by the way, I really liked in this episode. Her glee about the block party was hilarious.

Guilty Pleasures: Songs You're Ashamed Of Having On Your MP3 Player
Bort replied to PrincessEnnui's topic in Music
I love to make playlists and have one I created called Sucky Songs That I Like. Most of the above are on it. Also the likes of: Yoo Hoo - Imperial Teen Waiting for a Star to Fall - Boy Meets Girl Jump - Kriss Kross Kissin U - Miranda Cosgrove
