I only just now got around to watching this episode but it's ones like this that makes me want to know the outcome of the trial. Because every piece of evidence they have goes back to Gordon. And in the last scene, the best they could get Heather to admit was that he'd do anything for her and clean up her messes. Basically, a good lawyer can probably get her out of all of it because they've got NOTHING. Not even a confession.

First Season Episode Talk: Join Us At The Bent Elbow
Bort replied to joshleejosh's topic in Witches Of East End [V]
I've been watching the Netflix release of season 1 this weekend (I had no 4th of July plans). First and foremost, I love love LOVE Wendy. I've always thought Mädchen Amick should've been a bigger star because I think she's a really good actress. She definitely breathes most of the life into this show (Ingrid brings a lot of the rest of my enjoyment) and I can see why they decided to make Wendy a regular character after the pilot. I just love her glee about being a witch, everybody else acts so burdened. Freya reminds me a lot of Aria from Pretty Little Liars. For one, she looks a lot like her. The other similarity is that I like her fine when she's in the primary storyline but whenever she's bogged down in the one about her love life, I totally lose interest. Sadly, that's a majority percentage of her screen time. And lastly, the establishing shots really amuse me. Their house looks eerily similar to the Charmed house. And that's definitely Luthor Manor from Smallville as the Browning Castle. Fairhaven? -
I really like the sequence in Star Trek The Next Generation where Data gets Dr. Crusher to teach him to dance. While there's no music in the tap dancing part, there is in the ballroom dancing one. I just love this whole scene, particularly the way they switch from her leading to him leading and also his pasted-on smile.

Yeah, but I kind of get why the other Liars are putting their heads in the sand. Shana is dead and now nobody is bothering them. After two years of being stalked and terrorized, they're so desperate for it to be over that they're willing to believe it is when they should definitely be more wary.

Season 3 was released On Demand, for those who have that.

Yeah, it's like each scene was attaching a new cement block to her feet so that she'll sink ever so faster when they throw Chloe into the Death Pool. Which-- noooooo! I want her to be the one associate of Jack's that survives all these years of crap.

I'm not much for working out but I do have a playlist I created for when I do yard or housework that's full of upbeat songs. The staples include: Just Dance - Lady Gaga S&M - Rihanna ET - Katy Perry Hey Now Now - Swirl 360 Hella Good - No Doubt I've recently added to it: Come with Me Now - Kongos Turn Down for What - DJ Snake

I did like Renee but she was usually all, "no Jack, not the torture!" (at least in season 7, anyway) Here with Kate, I feel like we're watching the birth of a new Jack Bauer and I LIKE IT. Chloe does get Honorable Mention for that time in season 4 when she unloaded an entire clip of ammo into a bad guy.

No, Kiera said that in this timeline when she sprung Garza from the Freelancer prison, though Garza didn't have a clue why Kiera was doing her a solid.

S02.E10: By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried
Bort replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Orphan Black [V]
There's got to be a difference in there somewhere since Sarah is fertile and the other clones aren't. Especially since being barren is the apparent cause of the illness in the first place. So yeah, I'm also kind of curious as to why Sarah isn't a bone marrow option. -
I know he had it last season, but they're maintaining that shit changed the second Alec made the jump, not from him actually doing anything differently (like saving Emily). And since we haven't seen or heard about Travis having the suit, I've been assuming he didn't acquire it here. Which really makes me wonder how many episodes from the first two seasons have been rendered null and void. It's kind of like on Fringe season 4 where Peter and Olivia were the only ones who remembered the previous timeline. In this case, it's Kiera and Alec.

Shipper Wars: Favorite And Least Favorite TV Couples
Bort replied to mstaken's topic in Everything Else TV
I think this was probably my first ship: Jack and Janet from Three's Company. They had great chemistry, knew he each other so well in the 8 years they roomed together, through all other roommates and landlords that rotated through... I was very annoyed disappointed that the last season was spent setting them up with other people. The Three's a Crowd spinoff would have worked better with Janet instead of some random that they had ended up casting. -
This Travis doesn't have the suit, though, does he? I haven't seen him with it.

The "folded faster than Superman on laundry day" quote is one that I use ALL THE TIME.

Since Brad said several episodes ago that Kellog was the Big Cheese in his future, I don't know why they thought that SuitAlec was the variable that had to be eliminated. That said, the whole Team Kiera-Liber8 collaboration Swap Alecs Plan was fun. I knew something was up when Garza's two shots weren't even close. Garza doesn't miss! So did the beginning imply that Kiera finally got laid?

Hurt gets a little overused these days. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles did a different song of Johnny Cash's, The Man Who Comes Around, and it was 1) used most excellently and 2) helped with the budget because the setup made them able to shoot a climactic scene without having to coordinate fight scenes. They also did a great sequence with a song called Samson and Delilah and got cast member Shirley Manson to sing it.

I thought he was in prison and they divorced. Clearly, they didn't cover this detail well enough, everybody has a different story like the game telephone. Purple monkey dishwasher.

Currently, I'm biding my time with Pretty Little Liars, Motive, The Last Ship, 24. And The Bridge is due to start back up soon. Then I'll watch the regular network season of Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Person of Interest, Vampire Diaries, Grey's Anatomy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Nashville. As you can see, my taste in tv is rather eclectic.

Oh, I thought of another one: The Inside. Rachel Nichols, Peter Coyote, Adam Baldwin vehicle where they're FBI agents for violent crimes. FOX only aired 7 episodes of the 13 produced. The rest never aired in the US, though they did all air in the UK on ITV4. This one was partly FOX's fault for running it in the summer dead zone. And partly the fault of the show's subject matter. It was really dark and disturbing. For the year it aired. Because I think that it would probably do fairly well these days, given the recent penchant for summer shows + dark subject matter. Definitely ahead of its time.

My objections to Dollhouse qualifying for this category have been covered but I also don't think Fringe belongs here either. Considering the toilet the ratings were always in, it's a miracle FOX didn't cancel it after the first season. It got five, that's four more than I expected. And Angel? That also had five seasons. I was ready for it to go at the end there.

Sorry, no help here, I don't watch True Blood. Pretty Little Liars Warehouse 13

No, the override device was invented by that other boyfriend of hers that she had while faking a Russian accent and wearing a red wig. That he totally failed to notice she was wearing so I guess their bedroom activities weren't that vigorous?

All of her way out of left field hints are hysterical but my favorite is the first one that they get only because they both incorrectly think the capital of China is Hong Kong.
