  1. I just spent the last four months in the UK, the cops there definitely have guns. Especially the ones at the airport with the drug dogs, dressed in full-on SWAT body armor and packing assault rifles. At any rate, Cal has chickens, he needs that rifle to keep predators away from his coop at the very least. He wouldn't have any chickens left if he didn't have it.
  2. I admit that I kind of zoned out during Greer's speech but did he say he was a WWII vet (which-- no way, he'd have to be in his 90s) or that he was a kid? Because if he was, say, 10 years old at the time, I buy it.
  3. Boy, lots of theories re: Collier's mystery texter because I was thinking it was the government desk jockey that he talked to the first time. Apropos of nothing, Root and Shaw really need to get a room.
  4. "You told me how much America meant to you. How wonderful America was. How nice it is to be in a country that doesn't CARE about soccer." I just spent the last four months in the UK, basically forced to watch soccer everywhere I went. This episode was on this morning and that line almost made me choke.
  5. Also, Root is always hitting on Shaw so she might not drive stick shift. Either one of them are waaaay out of Fusco's league, though.
  6. That love letter episode! It's one of the few that's hilarious because it's supposed to be. And the annoyance by the troll is kept at a minimum.
  7. I loved Marcia Cross as Rebecca's estranged sister. Man, it was good casting, and the episode was so entertaining how Rebecca and her sister teamed up to trick Sam.
  8. I don't get how Tyler has a Passenger. He did the knife thingie early in the episode, how did he skate by that test?
  9. Given the massive implosion that April and Jackson seem to be headed for, I'm thinking this ill-timed pregnancy is April right when she and Jackson break up.
  10. I read an interview that it was their intention for Myka's storyline to span more episodes but when they got cut down to six-more-and-that's-it, they decided to end it, otherwise the last batch of episodes would've been kind of a downer. I could have used a refresher myself, I had totally forgotten the stuff about Claudia's sister, I couldn't remember why she was all ticked at Artie. Rebecca Mader popping up in this episode as Lisa deVinci was neat, her character was funny. And she was nice, I had quickly grown used to her being evil from her Once Upon a Time and Fringe appearances.
  11. Seattle is on a pretty high latitude. When I lived up there, the daylight hours in the summer months would run roughly from 4:30am to 10:30pm. It's... interesting to get used to.
  12. I think my favorite quote is from Spencer, when she was all offended that Aria's mom thought she was having an affair with Ezra. “Unless you’re Aria’s mom, just assume it’s Spencer. You know, sluttin’ it up.”
  13. Gotta have a quote thread... "You know Spencer, she's a total stress case. A garbanzo bean in the wrong salad bin is enough to make her wig out."
  14. Norm's entrance lines are always great: "It's a dog-eat-dog world and I'm wearing milkbone underwear." And I always loved Carla and Diane's antagonism: Carla: "You sound like a lady who's getting tired of her teeth." Diane: "I'm tired of YOUR teeth and all the vermicelli in between."
