  2. I'd say you have a good shot of finding that type of thing in Vegas.
  3. I was endlessly amused that Galvan's suit-wearing lackey was smoking an e-cigarette.
  4. Early in the episode, the mom admitted that she'd spoiled Turd Son. I don't necessarily think she was a bad mother either but he might've turned out differently if she hadn't made such a mistake overindulging him most of his life.
  5. I figured out the long lost son angle but thought it was about the money and was sympathizing with the victim until the reveal that it was all to save the mom. That other son was a turd. Pretty interested in Angie and Cross's big secret. Lucas's sucky marriage? Not so much.
  6. My high school didn't start til nine. And I didn't have a first period class senior year so I didn't have to show up til 10:07. But I didn't have stalkers and/or people trying to kill me so I did the normal thing and slept in.
  7. I've never before noticed but that bigass window by Hanna's front door is not there when they shoot the exterior scenes. I only paid attention this time because they made such a big deal about looking out the window, only for it to not be there when Hanna walked outside.
  8. Yeah, I'm calling Fredrick to be the only thing that came through the portal and that Tentacle Man is Dash in some weird Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde side effect from getting his powers back. And I guess he always wanted to have sex with Ingrid? I don't know, I'm pulling this out of my ass... It's a shame that guy was cast as Frederick because Freya has way more chemistry with him than Dash or Killian. I was waiting for a friend to ask who her new boyfriend was but then remembered Freya doesn't have any friends.
  9. Shaw implied one-night-stands but she didn't say anything about them being boys. I think it's still fairly wide open there.
  10. For all the love it tends to get, I was never crazy about "Boogie Nights" but the dance sequence was fun to watch.
  11. There's this homage to Clueless I saw recently that I found pretty impressive. I think the Katy Perry video for "Birthday" is great, I didn't know she had it in her.
  12. From the Simpsons, I use "folded faster than Superman on laundry day" a lot. Also Monica's "I know!" and Rachel's "Noooooo..." from Friends is often utilized.
  13. At some point, did this town used to be called Cabot Cove?
  14. What I find hilarious though is everybody's party line about Ingrid being the "boring one." It was a topic of discussion this very episode. Ingrid, you ain't boring. You do more and more insane shit as the series goes on and it entertains the hell out of me.
  15. I love making those fake motivational posters, I couldn't resist.
  16. The last scene of the season 2 premiere of Witches of East End HAD to be done.
  17. Well if you continue to follow Troian's Twitter/Instagram feed, she afterwards went to Vancouver, then NYC. Could merely be that they wrapped for the season and was happy to have spent a bunch of time working with Torrey this season. She was gone for a long time.
  18. I posted this in the TV Moments/Music thread but it really belongs here (I missed the thread, apparently). But from Star Trek TNG, Dr. Crusher teaching Data to dance. First tap, then ballroom. I love the tap-dancing, it's great.
  19. *blinks* I've probably seen that commercial a hundred times and never noticed that there were other kids. Maybe it's because they were behaving? Very unusual for commercial-kids. I'm used to screaming, kicking and throwing things.
  20. Art teacher. This the benefit of having watched all of season 1 two days ago. I have yet to see Joanna GO to work, though. Maybe it's summer?
  21. I saw that the AT&T commercial with the whisper-talking couple with the sleeping baby was discussed but the aspect that really annoys me is the salesgirl offering them a 4-phone plan. Can she not count? There are only two of them. Why would they need four cell phones? (Of course, I bitch about this while having four cell phones. But hey, one's personal, one's work and the other two are foreign country numbers.)
  22. Sexy? Well, maybe it was sexy, I may not have been able to see that well through my tears of laughter. I'm beginning to suspect Ingrid has a bit of a fetish. First a ghost, now tentacles... It really does fascinate me. Not to mention whatever it is that makes her the only special snowflake that can open the portal.
  23. Yeah, that was the weirdest ending I've seen on a show in a long time. Blue creature (that looked like he walked out of the Street Fighter video game) tentacle rape in the forest? That was new.
  24. Yeah, I do think Ingrid is overreacting. Like, they're all witches, maaaaybe there was a world-ending reason Victor left? But she won't let him explain anything. I do appreciate the casting. Ingrid's lighter hair didn't really fit in with Joanna, Wendy and Freya but Victor showing up illustrates where her coloring came from. Hilariously, the Netflix description plugs the show as "Emmy-winner Julia Ormand and Oscar-nominee Virginia Madsen..." and I'm like, who nominated Madsen for an Oscar? She was TERRIBLE here. I'm glad they killed her off because I don't know if I can take another season of her. Penelope/Athena isn't being resurrected, is she?
  25. It's a little early for any network spoilers besides casting. The shows don't go back for filming for another couple of weeks.
