  1. Do Connor and/or Michaela even know that Asher murdered Sinclair?
  2. I think the problem is that Mandy's wig looks extremely wiggy. The show needs to spend some money and get her a better big. iIRC, the producers of Good Wife once commented that each of Julianna Margolis' wigs cost over $10,000.00. Mandy's wig looks like it cost $10.00. Susan looks great in that picture.
  3. He alao put his car in reverse to run over her. And Sinclair has been mentioned twice now in the last two eps with Asher in the room and when they show him he has no reaction. Further, his telling Oliver has was "late to the party" regarding Sam skews the fact that while he actually killed a woman,Connor and Michaela were forced into a cover-up. They continue to show remorse for their "crimes" while Asher has never shown any for his actual crimes.
  4. The first season started at the beginning of their 1L fall semester, and this season started at the beginning of their 2L fall semester. Then I beleive the flashforwards during this past fall season established 9 weeks afted passed since the fall semester started
  5. That's a great point. Yes its the second half of the third season, but for the characters its been about 1 year + 10 or so weeks.
  6. I didnt like Thomas and his hairy back, but he was worlds better than Simon. I thought he and Oliver would have made a great couple. They could go be whiney together, preferably off-screen.
  7. Sandra continues to be the MVP of the show. America's wig was awful; thank god she'll have her real hair next ep.
  8. I may be 100% wrong, but I think whatever producers originally intended for Simon was scuttled becsuse of poor audiance reception. The way his story quickly ended reeked of the classic 'audiance hates new character so we're deep-sixing him and closing a plot whole at the same time'.
  9. Michaela was scary and amazing. When she told Connor that "Mousolini got things done", it gave me the same chill many of Annalise's lines do. Oliver is beyond pathetic. Annalise is literally in prison, Connor has been dealing with this trauma for a year, yet Oliver is making himself the poor widdle victim. I was expecting him to ask for a sippy cup and a blankie. I hope Connor dumps his ass for good soon. The only people not on my list of suspects are Michaela and Connor, because their whereabouts are accounted for, both would be totally out of left field, and neither Aja nor Jack is playing any undercurrent of 'somethings up' the way everyone else is. That said, Asher is at the top of my list. His indifference over mowing down the old DA last season would fit with his apparant lack of guilt/empathy here. I am starting to wonder if instead if the richy rich Mahoney widow pulling the strings, its the richy rich Milstone widow.
  10. As another poster, some people are just assholes. I saw those scenes and the entire Aiden situation differently, but I definitely see where you are coming from. First, I think Lynn Whitfield knew her son played the flesh flute and fully intended for Michaela to act as his beard while he continued to have sex with men. Second, I dont think Connor ever wanted to be Aiden's husband or was jealous that Michaela was going to be wife. Remember this was before Sam's death and Connor/Michaela were very antagonistic. I think Connor's behabior was all about exploiting the fact that Aiden liked dick. Third, while I agree Connor was hurt that Oliver saw him as nothing more than a shallow playboy, I dont think he was hurt by the implication that that is how society at large saw him. Oliver has always treated Connor horribly, and I have yet to see one reason why Connor likes him, nor why the ship has so many fans. Actually scratch that. It seems like any gay couple is shipped because of this attitude of 'at least we're getting something'. I say fuck that shit. As a Connor fan, I want better for him and won't ship a pairing because it's the only one producers will give us.
  11. I dont watch Scandal anymore, but that show had a lenghty filiming hiatus and is doing a slightly shorter season to accomodate Washington's pregnancy. As for this shows schedule, my understanding is that we have three new episodes the next three weeks, and then it returns Apr 4 for the final 7 eps with the season finale on May 16. I believe March will be Bachelor and DwtS specials in the slot.
  12. Another solid episode. I loved the Knoenigs. My understanding is that LMD has three more episodes and then the third arc beings in April and runs the last 7 eps / until the end of the season.
  13. I agree wirh all of this, but maintain Connor previously having and/or experiencing issues with being gay doesn't make sense given what has been established thus far. That he did so easily break the night of Sam's murder and is once again a mess goes toward him leaving a trauma-free life up until he got sucked into Annalise's vortex. And at least at this point in the shows' narrative, he and Michaela are the only charactera that deserve happy endings. But I don't think Connor's happy ending is Oliver; he deserves better.
  14. My personal theory, based on nothing but my own musings, is that Sam's first wife hasnt shown up because they're waiting for a specific actress to be available.
  15. I'm bi, have dated dudes on and off for 20 years since I was 14, and have been with my boyfriend for two years now. Am I qualified to "tell an LGBT person where his/her/their shame comes from"? And I agreed with what you about most gay guys feeling shame. But I've never felt shame and I sure as hell haven't and wouldn't be with a guy who did. Further in the context of this show, until this past episode Connor Walsh hadnt been presented as feeling shame. He was just a guy who happened to like guys and liked sex. It was so damn refreshing to see. Because at the end of the day this victim mentality that, as I said I agree with, most gay guys feel is self-inflicted and should not be blamed on straights/a heteronormative society. Further, gay guys in general treating other gay guys like complete and utter shit is 100% on gay guys and should not be played on straights/the heteronormative society. From bible thumping family members to my frat bros to my colleagues in the workforce, no one has ever treated me badly or differently because of my sexuality. In fact, the only people who have ever treated me badly because of my sexuality are self-titled progressives who hate that I dont act like a damn victim.
  16. I dont think Brothers & Sisters keeping Holly Harper around after revealing her daughter wasn't Williams was the or even a problem. William had left her stock in the company and Holly was portrayed as having business acumen. The problems with B&S after season 1 were making Justin & Rebecca whiney and boring, Sarah's ridiculous affair with the DwtS guy, revealing there actually was an illigetimate kid and then acting like the whole thing never, and then season 4's narrow lake mystery which made absolutely no fucking sense. Oh, and Ken Olin writing himself into the show as Rebecca's real father,,but maybe, maybe not. As long as Ken Olin is around I will be afraid that at some point we'll learn Kyle is alive and was actually kidnapped as part of a baby smuggling ring run by Dr. K, that Jack & Rebecca had another kid later that they gave up for reasons, and that Beth met Kevin before she met Randall and they've been in love the whole time.
  17. I think did a great job with both the kid and teen, especially the teen, actors looking they could legitimately grow up to look like Chrissy. But neither the kid nor teen actors for Randall and Kevin look at all like they could grow up to look like Sterling and Justin. Teen Randall especially was a major misfire in the casting looks department. That said, I also think the younger Kate actresses are much stronger than the younger Randall and Kevin actors.
  18. First, I really want to see an alternate reality/flash sideways episode that either had them never either never going to the house that night to begin with or never going back to the house that night. Either way, I think it'd be interesting to see everyone truly happy and succesful as opposed to the usual ar/sideways 'things may suck but they could have been worse'. Second, as much as I have with connecting someone's behavior to their race and/or gender, I have bigger problems with the notions of 'check your privilege' and 'stay in your lane'. These are racist and sexist ideas that essentially seek to silence someone or tell them they are wrong solely because of their race/gender/wealth/etc.
  19. Asher is a dumbass, but that has nothing to do with either his race or gender and it's a huge mistake to link his behavior to them.
  20. I also think tone and context need to he considered, here as in any situation. They were out in the open air in the daytime and he only approacher her because she was talking loudly on her phone which she wasnt supposed to have. He engaged her in conversation and she engaged back. Also, the Duke actor played it as flirty. I took "this is going to happen" as 'Duke & Kate are going to be a couple one day' NOT 'Duke is going to have sex with Kate against her will'. I also think Chrissy played it as Kate being receptive while simultaneously rolling her eyes, not 'I'm about to get out my mace and scream for help'. As I've said before, I think Chrissy is bringing this level of confidence to Kate that I fully believe Kate knows how to handle someone who goes too far or wants to do something she does not. To illustrate, let's say we get a scene down the road where when Randall introduces Beth to the family, that Kate shows her embarrasing/childhood cute photos of Randall. If Randall looked at Kate and playfully said "I'm going to kill you", no one would accuse Randall of actually wanting to murder Kate.
  21. While I hope they dig deep into Kate's psychological issues centering on Jack's death, at a certain point they need to verbalize on-screen that at the end of the day people simply have different metabolisms and body types.
  22. This probably belongs in Unpopular Opinions, but I dont think what Duke did was negging, sexual harrrasment, harrasment in general, rapey, etc . . . all he did was express an interest in her. Don't get me wrong, I do think the world at large has a huge problem with men doing these things to women, but I don't see those things in Duke's actions.
  23. While I agree that in general, gay guys feel shame, up until this episode that hadnt been presented as Connor's experience and it was the thing I liked most about him. I do think Connor would or at least should be in therapy for "his murder stuff" and the awful way Oliver treats him, but based on everything shown thus far, especially that conversation with his sister in season 1, I dont think Connor was ever in or needed therapy for "his gay stuff". Also, I think it's misplaced to blame that shame on "a heteronormative" society when frankly it's the gay "community" (whatever that is supposed to mean) that treats its own like complete and utter shit. That Connor was just a guy who happens to like guys and hadn't experienced any trauma until he got sucked into Annalise's vortex was so refreshing, and I hate that they seem to be undoing that now. On another note, I could not agree more about Wes. He is the cause of all of their misery. He was obsessed with Rebecca and he killed Sam. That is all on him.
  24. KJ Apa was good in A Dog's Purpose, but awful in this. Maybe it's the hair dye?
  25. Viola also has a producer credit this season that I'm prettt sure she did not have in seasons 1& 2. Also, Shonda has almost nothing to do with Grey's or Murder at this point. She is busy trying to fix Scandal and Catch, launch StarCrossed, and develop new projects.
