Just read - (forgot the site) that Greg Vaughn is back for good!!!! And, yes, they confirmed that 2 couples are leaving. So, what - was Allison Sweeney back for 2 weeks and then gone again??? I am glad the actress is happy, but that sure dictates the stories and stability of the stories, which sucks. ETA - I wonder if Father Eric will leave the priesthood again or if he is just going to perform exorcisms for the foreseeable future.

They have done that with too many couples who are now permanently attached at the hip (or thereabouts). They have destroyed the individual characters. We see more of Chad without Abby, but, at this point, Abby has no purpose (although it looks like she will be investigating Sarah's disappearance), both Chloe and Nicole have no functions other than to find a man and then be attached to them; and let's not even mention Ciara and Ben. The writers, under Re-Ron's direction, have no use for any women, other than to pleasure their men. Sami, who has been ruined for me for years, promises her forever love to EJ and then 2 scenes later is trying to reunite with Lucas, which I am still hoping is a set-up or a way to give the actress more time off to film her Hallmark stuff. They try to paint Kate as a strong woman, but she is just cold and calculating and they have run out of potential partners for her, unless Roman is stupid enough to forgive her when she says how she helped frame his son for a murder her son faked. Lani is not a strong woman and just bounces around. Paulina is a cartoon.

Nick tried to kill her (Gabi). So she has not always had good luck with men. Actually, Stefan also treated her badly - until he didn't.

I am now quite sure that this devil will hang around for quite some time, switching bodies and souls and we will definitely see a scene with the Cin baby with yellow eyes, a la Rosemary's Baby. ETA - I just saw this was posted twice. So sorry. Can I say The Devil Made Me Do it?

Well, technically, it WAS the devil who planted the idea of kidnapping her. It was just Lucas' thoughts to actually do it, so he can put some of the blame on the demon. But, they better be sure it has been finally banished or Lucas' lies will come out.

I know we always see items from people who know/work with/live near the contestants, and we have to take their info with a grain of salt, but I just read where someone who worked at the hotel where the weddings were ran into a woman in the bathroom who said that "she was hired to play the mother of one of the grooms!"

I LOVE that you are saying he AUDITIONED for this show instead of "applied" to the show. You are exactly right - it is all an audition for a reality TV show and not even slightly meant as a true matchmaking show. That makes me sad, but also more resolved than ever to stop watching. (And to keep reading the comments!)

So far, just sticking with reading your comments and plan to not watch this season. I don't believe that the "experts" have anything to do with selecting people - I think that is all production. The experts may be the ones who have to match the ones who were selected, but that is their only involvement, I believe. The fact that they are still trying to "balance" people with opposites just shows that. If the comments get any different than they have been, I may tune in. But I will still refuse to watch anything with Kevin Frazier or his panel of who-cares-what-you-think media whores. I might check in to the new Unfiltered show once to see the new host. I think many of us were well aware that it had started again.

So after how many months, they say a few prayers and it's over???? I haven't seen the show, just read a recap, but if it is truly over, that is very underwhelming. Or Father Eric is just that good! I am thinking it is not really over yet. Maybe for Marlena, but there are so many other options in Salem.

Wasn't there a spoiler a while ago that said that Ava starts to poison Rafe? Perhaps that will start soon. She won't give up easily. Or maybe she poisons Nicole?

I am not a Sami fan, but I just hope that Sami wanting to get away with Lucas is a plot to see if he did kidnap her, since I don't think she would have flip-flopped away from EJ so quickly after recommitting to each other. But, I do have to wonder how long she is in town this time and if she is not staying for a while, why would they have her back with EJ?

By that time, maybe we will have gotten used to NOT watching and we will be free!

Yeah and I see that they are having Kevin Frazier doing the pre-show episodes that they are increasing in time. Already taking 2 nights and I saw that one of them is 3 hours. And that's BEFORE the actual show and weddings start. I do hope there will be even just one likable person this time.

I am just afraid that, as many times as Jan said that they had slept together, that if the devil doesn't get Ciara's and Ben's baby because of LOVE,then there will be another perfect example of a good/evil baby to claim.

Is the Phillip character really gone? I just assumed it was his turn to be off the screen for a few weeks (as Johnny and Chanel just were, and one of the reasons Kristian Alfonso gave for leaving). They seem to rotate people and their stories. I will bet that once she has been exorcized, "Marlena" and probably "John" will be off for a while, too.

I remembered reading that his wife was a big fan of Rafe or Galen so that is job security. Just like Re-Ron's dad loves him some Gabi, so she will be around in those silly outfits for life.

When the character of Paulina first came to Salem, she was ALL ABOUT race, which made several viewers, including me, unhappy. She lectured Julie, was super defensive and just made it seem that was all she cared about. SHE would be the one to mention Johnny's race, but I don't think any of the other family members would. I also had another thought about the Paulina/Lani relationship. I changed my mind that Abe (or Eli) would be the ones to save the day once they decide to bring Lani's abusive father back -I think it will be Paulina who tries to save her and maybe ends up getting hurt or something. Then, Lani will feel guilty and there will be forgiveness and hugs all around. Actually, Paulina will end up in a coma in the hospital, and Lani will be by her side talking to her and that will bring her back. My speculation only (and probably anyone else who has ever watched a soap opera).

I don't think they have decided that yet. I am just guessing that at some point, he will make a return, maybe go after Lani, who will have to be saved by Abe. Then she will realize that Paulina did what was ultimately, a sign of deep love and all will be forgiven. Just my guess.

I don't quite understand what happened to the 2-week quarantine, but it seems that if a Broadway show has a cast/crew member test positive, they cancel the show for the night and go on again the next day. I am sure that more of them will be going dark, because New York. So, maybe they don't have to take a longer quarantine.
