Supposedly, as she told production, while Chris was out in the hall like he was waiting for the principal, that he said that in the elevator and she was done.

I wonder if she knows Mia? Supposedly, after they found out about Mia's history of stalking and other illegal activities, they changed the vetting process to pick up on these things. Apparently, they must have vetted Lindsey the day BEFORE her record popped up - just like Mia. I fully believe it is all part of the cast plan. (Bride #1 - unlikeable with a criminal history; Bride #2 - naive with a belief that this show is really trying to find her a mate; Bride #3 - narcissistic woman who does not like physical affection; Groom #1 - lying narcissistic blowhard; Groom #2- controlling, quick to anger, etc.)

Watch The Omen. The devil always wants to be in positions of power - either political or business. I guess DiMera is a big name in the industry?

Apparently, the person who has the contract with Johnny to do the possession movie comes to town and is - wait for it, because NO ONE saw this coming - Paulina's ex, the abusive Ray. Now, why she wouldn't tell Lani makes no sense - I am sure Lani has no desire to meet him. She is also trying to protect Lani by not letting Ray know about her. Once again, keeping this a secret is stupid. Why couldn't she tell Abe? So, am speculating that Paulina will be in danger and ALMOST die saving Lani so that all will be forgiven again.

How close are we to April Fool's?????? Unless they are coming back to stay, the whole idea of this story is beyond ridiculous. Maybe that should be the next Peacock show - forget Beyond Salem. Next is Beyond Ridiculous. The only way that stupid big bear story would be funny is if the bear started flashing those yellow eyes. I saw the picture and thought it was just a joke. Had no idea it was part of the actual show. I am so glad I stopped actually watching last year. I am so embarassed for the actors.

The good (bad) news is that you don't have to choose. This crappy writer wants us to hate BOTH! ETA - does anyone know how long Linsey Godfrey (Sarah) will be around? I am hoping not for long, but then, I also don't want Gwen to not have her deception found out. Maybe they could send her off to be with Jack and Jennifer - just send her away. ETA Again - First of all, while it is nice to see Nancy, why would a mother, who is raising her grandson, leave to burden her daughter with a sob story about the daughter's father POSSIBLY having an affair? What mother would do that? Why does she need to go there? Who will be watching/raising Parker? And then Craig shows up to straighten them out with his explanation. Now who is raising Parker? Also the explanation I have read is that all of a sudden, Craig realizes he is gay. Because, of course, Ron.

I watched long enough to hear some of the women say they are financially independent and there seem to be a few attorneys on there. I think the twist will be that one guy is worth $10 million - and the other guy will be worth $20 million! I couldn't make it very long with all the immature screaming and fake faces. And the dresses were ridiculous and very tacky - even with a good figure. No taste or class at all.

Alyssa isn't as pretty as she thinks she is (she is still pretty, though), but she seems like she could do better than Chris, who is not attractive at all (to me). I am kind of looking forward to a little drama, just not as much as we have had in the last 2 seasons.

Are they that far ahead in filming that they really COULD be filming Halloween? Or, yet another one of their special Peacock adventures.

Yes, I forgot about him. I was thinking that he looked either Bozo the Clown (yes, I am dating myself) or that cartoon kid in the Incredibles movie.

I just read ANOTHER article about how they were all shocked by the "real" Chris and that he didn't present any of that behavior while he was being "heavily" vetted. The fact that we, just the viewers, had him pegged as soon as he came on the screen before the weddings, should have been enough info for the "experts" to be replaced. Another article said that the season with Mia having a significant record of arrests changed how they do their vetting. Now, apparently, they do it closer to the actual start of filming since it seemed they concluded their research THE DAY BEFORE her record was posted! I don't believe that, either. Her record included multiple stalking charges and would be available - they don't all just show up one day. It would be interesting to see how the viewers would do assigning the matches. The production people can continue to select the people, as I believe they do now, and then they should post their pictures and histories and let the viewers do the matching.

I agree with the many who said that by now, all of them should have been married. This is the first time I watched, this season, and I am already thinking that these people won't make it. Alyssa with the 10 dresses was annoying. Lindsey was super annoying and unlikeable. The other women may be OK, but I didn't think the men were very attractive. Michael looked 100 times better without that strange square beard. I know that Olajuwon was an acquaintance of Jephte (who was before I started watching), but he reminded me of Woody, who I never warmed up to. Mark reminds me of AJ, another one I never cared for. I did think that the dresses were much prettier than last time. I will give it another week and see if they get to the honeymoon, or if we are still seeing the receptions. Five couples are way too many, given the way this show drags them out. ETA - I forgot - which one of the men is unemployed?

I watched last night, but Lindsey wasn't on (except in clips), so maybe I am in the wrong thread. What I noticed was that, for me, the show was only around 40 minutes. I don't know what was on after that. I like Keshia much better than Jamie O. I don't know if I will watch it again, but I wanted to give it a chance. Mark looked pretty uncomfortable the whole time. I don't think he will stay with Lindsey. It sounded like the other two women were attracted to their spouses. Good for them. I didn't find either of them attractive. I am not holding out much hope for these matches, but will watch a little more.

Actually, I WAS thinking that it would be a tiny devil baby with horns, and as long as it is sealed, no one will know. ETA or maybe no horns, but glowing eyes!!!!

I think it will be Ava with the mask, helping her BFF Gwen.

Well, that was hardly anything we hadn't thought of. And/or that Gwen will be pregnant when Xander goes back to Sarah. (Or Gwen will fake it, which is more in line with her character). I didn't like the baby voiced Sarah and her entitled attitude. I remember when she came to see Marlena because she had a patient in the ER she wanted to discuss and then spent the whole time asking Eric's mother why he didn't like her anymore. That was disgusting! Or Brady, or whoever she liked at the time.

That's not good. I didn't watch the show and, hopefully, won't, but the comments, as always, help me decide. And it does sound like there is a lot to draw out drama. I thought last year when Gil and Myrla had murdered fathers in common was pretty awful. It sounds like this season they have raised the bar again. Sounds like lots of trust and abandonment issues (NO MORE MICHAELA!!!!!!!) 13 HOURS AGO, KISS MY MUTT SAID: Oh Lordy, Olajuwon is a dirty dog. I would walk after seeing him go so far as to touch the stripper. Can’t wait to watch through my fingers when Katina sees it. oh gross, now Mark is getting some washed up stripper action. I was in New Orleans many years ago and we walked down Bourbon Street and there was a sign in front of one of the establishments that read, "Wash the Girl of your choice." I will never forget that sign!!!

It seems to me that fraud would be the most used reason for annulment. Since they don't know anything about who they married, I am sure there is misrepresentation by either the experts or the people themselves. If people are under the impression that their assigned match was matched according to specifications, and then they find that they really aren't what "they asked for," it seems like you could make a case for that. Reminds me of a cartoon my manager had hanging in his office. It was a man talking to a vendor or employee and he says, "Yes, that's exactly what I wanted and I don't like it!"

That's what I think. I think the producers select the people who can bring the most drama and then maybe they let the "experts" match them up, but I can't believe the experts do any selecting. Just my thoughts. I wonder if Dr. Viv will have a new costume this season? She has done Pocahontas, so maybe she will be Belle or Ariel this time?

I read that Lucas will return within the next couple of weeks because EJ's trial for kidnapping starts. Will he confess? Who knows. But, no mention of Sami coming back with him. I THINK I read it on Soaphub, so I don't know how valid that is.

That is assuming that they do actually live there when not filming, that I am more convinced than ever, is not the case. We have seen over the seasons where someone leaves to go back to their homes or in some cases, never even pretends to move in.

LOL - the devil story is ridiculous, BUT, I am wondering if the whole cast wants to be possessed for "fun?" It would be sort of fun to see Gabi as a demon, but she already is and would just need the yellow eyes. Demonized Sami or Kate would be indistinguishable from their true characters. Same with Gwen and Ava, although that would give Ava a little more actual power. Demon Rafe might make him more interesting. Eli and Lani are too boring, even if they were possessed, and the devil would die from boredom. Regular Paulina is too over the top as herself and couldn't be any worse, even demonized. Chanel might be interesting, once it leaves Johnny.

We know that Sami will be back, when she feels like it, and so might Jack. It just says they are leaving now and kind of implies it will be a departure for a while. We know that Sami will not forgive Lucas, and we also know that she made the switch to Lucas way too fast, so, at some point she will be back (and he will come trailing after her). Like I said in a different post, as long as the show allows Allison Sweeney to come and go as her schedule permits, they really can't put her with anyone for any length of time. So, they made a big deal about her true love being EJ, and then she changed her mind. My other thought was that she knows Lucas did it and is setting him to up to clear EJ. But, in the meantime, is EJ supposed to stay celibate? Not as long as Nicole is willing, as she always is.
