  1. Also whichever room has the television... I don't know if I'm in a tiny .0000001% that doesn't spend lots of time in my kitchen or if there is a silent majority out there.
  2. NCIS is becoming more and more fictional by the series. They act as if they're the only agents in all of NOVA, Vance treats them like they're his equals instead of him being the boss, no way would Cassie/Abbie and Jimmy/Ducky only work with this single team. They should have at least gotten rid of Gibbs years ago. There's no chance he'd still be working at NCIS in an even remotely normal world.
  3. You know she isn't a real designer when she only talks about what SHE likes in a design, not the client.
  4. Though he did claim he doesn't like to be micro-managed. Which, dude, being taught something you don't know how to do isn't micro-managing. I don't like Gary much but I did lol when he joked about surprising the guests at dinner.
  5. Mika and Bryan's house looks too cheap and builder grade. I loved Tiffany and David's entrance, book nook area and main floor suite. Iron doors seem to be a Nate and Jeremiah go to design, though I can totally see why. Mike was right that the front room's shelving needed to be a different colour. Those corbels were stupid and they wasted money on the iron newels. I was disappointed with all the boring powder rooms.
  6. I wonder if the children who moved to Frankfurt have managed to survive, as their mom can't see them when she's in the kitchen.
  7. I've jumped into my Tardis for a trip to the future and am already laughing at the shouts of "needs a gut job!" "we need some walls!" "this is sooo 2020!" on HGTV House Hunters 2030.
  8. A single pair couldn't make a non open concept kitchen??! Really?! With a blessed wall or two I'd give either Nate and Jeremiah or Tiffany and David the prize, easily. The other two kitchens looked like typical flipped ones. Nothing all that original.
  9. Because HGTV has brainwashed them into believing you can't live unless your kitchen is a certain way: open concept, white/grey/maaaybe blue if you're totally wild, shaker cabinets with one of three pulls.
  10. They should have painted the streetlamp black and kept the mirror gold. I am so sick of people claiming rooms are unusable if it's a single room with a kitchen in it. Same when they complain about not being able to talk to anyone when they're in the kitchen. If they're across the flippin room you can't have a conversation with them anyway! Have they never heard of an eat in kitchen??
  11. Did anyone else notice the huge hole in the bottom of the bathtub in the "Woodland Wonderland" house? And I am so sad that HGTV has brainwashed Erin and Ben into believing open concept is a good thing. That was I think the second or third time they've done it recently.
  12. Nearly every toilet room I've ever been in has had a sink there; the only two that didn't and they were quite old and hadn't been renovated yet.
  13. Those two Brussel's hunters deserved each other. Him with his ridiculous three steps from the fridge to the sink, her with her stupid hate of the WC. Yikes.

    Season 03

Yes, how dare they focus on the top terrorist threat in the United States.
  15. When that Bay Area woman complained about the carpet I was soooo hoping her husband would tell her that carpet repels rodents.
  16. Not funny, more like required. Most TV execs don't think viewers would watch ugly/normal looking women. When it comes to men however....
  17. What does being a missionary or studying theology have to do with drinking and partying? Are they Mormons?
  18. I don't. Considering what he liked about that boring, no design, new build I'm guessing the house will be open concept white/grey maybe some black. 1 of the 3 pulls it seems everyone without creativity uses, stainless steel appliances, subway tile somewhere too. Why do all these people claim they want to put their stamp on their new house when what they really want to do is put the basic flip house stamp on it?
  19. Once again, I did not understand why the NJ woman wanted open concept. Not to mention I'd never pick a house without a garage living in that area.
  20. As long as Hilary is the "designer" there isn't going to be much variety no matter where they are.
  21. Really? I loved the blues against that dark wood. The owner sounds like a good guy, I bet the street is happy to have him.
  22. I actually learned something from that Ellijay episode. I had no idea rural/woodlands houses like that had HOAs as well. Those HOAs actually sound quite useful. I would have chosen the second house, beautiful windows and the shallowish river right there were great.
  23. Seems very real to life FBI white men's opinions on female agents who embarrass them by being competent.
  24. I know it's none of my business, but I'm curious what happened with Zion mom's ex-husband and what she does for work.
  25. I wish in the bathroom with the green tiles on the shower floor they'd used green grout for the subway tiles. It needed some more colour.
