  1. Thanks, yes that is the only bright spot in it all. Ultimately I knew this was the only way the whole other issue was going to be resolved.
  2. 8,908 steps yesterday. I got some sad news yesterday. My younger brother passed away last Thursday. We weren't close (My brothers chose a life style of crime/drugs, I chose not to get my family involved in) but in the conversation I also found out my older brother had passed in 2020. The call came from his daughter, my niece. I briefly met her when my mom died in 1987. Now that my brother is gone, my mom's will kicks in and I am entitled to inherit 25% of the value of the family home. My brother in his will left my children a percentage of his 75% which really surprised me. I envision this being one long drawn out mess before all is settled. There are some sketchy things already that I have to keep an eye on.... I don't quite know how I feel, I'm sad but not grieving if that makes sense. I haven't seen or spoken to him since 1988. To realize all of a sudden I am the last one standing of my family is just hitting me. Even though we weren't close, just knowing they both were "out there" somewhere was some comfort. No I have a sort of "lost" feeling.... (sorry for the rant) Many of yesterday's steps were spent pacing as I was talking on the phone to my niece. Then also doing a laundry. Not sure how today will go because I have a lot of computer and hands on paper research to do.
  3. If I remember correctly, I think Martha Stewart is responsible for that! She was on Chopped once a long time ago and used the chopsticks, something about the metal of the fork giving some "off taste" to the food. Yes, very pretentious! Ever since GZ has used them on and off!
  4. Forgot to hit Submit yesterday! 9,136 stepsTuesday. ~~~~~~~~~~~ 8,538 steps yesterday. Woke with kink in my back, must have slept wrong somehow. So, today I am going to back off. some and see if that helps. All I need to do today is laundry.
  5. Good point! I had forgotten about his military service. Yes, he surely did. Then Kody has no way to get his claws into that money, phew! Never underestimate the Douche. Especially after what he said about Janelle last episode. Her trying to cheat him out of anything she can....
  6. I wonder if he had a will and where the proceeds are going? Maybe to that cat shelter? Maybe Janelle? I also wonder if Kody is going to try to get some of it since he is Garrison's "dad". Something I wouldn't put beyond the Douche.
  7. Something Kody said in one of his talking heads really made me mad. I forgot about it until I rewatched. He said Janelle was out to $crew him as much as she could, rubbing his hands together like a villain, supposedly imitating her. Yeah, she sure did Kody, when she turned over her retirement monies and her inheritance to the family pot that you controlled. Really $crewed you then didn't she???? Jacka$$!!
  8. Maybe some point for a lawyer to untangle and for Christine to veriify her intent in saying the family vs to Kody. Not a lawyer or anything but the whole division (given contributions to the pot) just seems so unfair...
  9. Sadly any way you look at it, Meri gets the very short end of that stick!! Which doesn't seem fair given she most likely invested as much as the other two wives. I wonder a bit about Christine's share. Did she gift it to Kody/Robin in writing or to "The Family". That would make the divisions a bit different. By the family I would suppose she meant all the other owners jointly. Of course Kody probably convinced her that saying Kody/Robyn was the same thing... sneaky ba$tard!
  10. 8,879 steps yesterday. After I took the garbage up to the road, I ran a couple of unplanned errands yesterday. An rx arrived at PO and while I was out I made a couple other stops. Almost all the other steps were inside. Too cold to think of doing much outside! The high yesterday was all of 18°F.
  11. 8,215 steps yesterday. Almost all of these steps were inside. The cold is getting to my knees now too and they were both aching yesterday. Today is much colder (-9° when I went out to feed the cats at 7:30AM) and I plan to stay inside almost all day, and take it a little easy for my knees and back's sake. I have the same hesitancy about going to gyms, it is the airborne germs I have concerns with. I sanitize still as I did during the height of Covid. I am to the point I think I will investigate the few gyms that are near here just to see what is available. If for nothing else besides just getting out more!
  12. She had the "oh so amazing" Sister Wive's Closet Jewelry co. Biggest dud of all their schemes!
  13. Kody keeps acting like lawyers aren't necessary and the women are punishing him. He doesn't want any lawyers involved because he knows he can't get away with anything with them. He'd double talk Meri and Janelle until they just gave him what he wants to shut him up. I'm glad they have both got lawyers!!
  14. I can't remember any time frankly!! Janelle just rolled with the flow as long as she had enough for her and her kids.
  15. No way! She ditched the biggest bitch/douche already!! Jenn really seems to care for Meri unlike the "ex"!
  16. Whose fault was it you all moved to Flagstaff Robyn???? You say that's when it all started to fall apart. Look in the mirror girl, you got what you wanted...happy now???
  17. I love Jenn telling Meri to get her FAIR share. She needs to keep on Meri to be strong in what she wants which is her fair share of the property. No $hit they are worried they won't get their fair share!! Leaving it up to Kody will get them nothing out of the deal!! He'd sell it right out from under them!!
  18. The "Kaboom" trouble she's bemoaning started when she joined the family!!
  19. Kody really doesn't like dogs does he? Cutting Janelle for having dogs in her RV.
  20. 9,116 steps yesterday. Out of 16 hours walking only 3 were under 250 steps/hr according to my step counter, most well over. My back is aching, I think the cold is settling in from working outside a bit too much. With just light showers today, I shouldn't have to do much outside today so I can rest some.
  21. I'm not on Instagram can anyone post a link please?
  22. Yep! Laughed out loud!!
  23. The cursive in some of these really old papers does take some deciphering skills. It has lots of big circles and tails on letters and exaggerated forms, sometimes it is a guess, taking the context of the sentence, to make out a word. For this project which was 3 pages long, the further into it I got, I started to recognize patterns in letters and could then make out words somewhat easier. This was information dear to my heart, not sure doing bills of laden or other unrelated business documents from the 1800's or earlier would be as fun!
  24. It is good you. listen to your body. If it hurts give it time to heal. Good on you for recognizing this! (((hugs)))
  25. Thanks for that link! Fascinating stuff. I didn't know there was actually a "job" doing these translations. I spent a lot of time transcribing a zerox copy of a letter my Great-Grandfather wrote home to his wife May 7, 1865. He was an officer in the Army and had gone to the internment of President Lincoln in Springfield, IL with a group of 12 officers. He described everything about the ceremony and even sent her a sprig of evergreen that was taken out of the vault where Lincoln's remains were placed! I wonder whatever became of that! It was a very moving letter to read as I have always had a soft spot for Lincoln. My Great -Grandfather described much of the surroundings which was fascinating. Of and the service he said: "Everything seemed to give an expression of perfect solemnity, and yet was sublimely grand." It was a very moving experience for me to read of this through my Great-Grandfather's eyes!!
