  1. They come in a set of 2! II have one with 2 inserts and the other with all 3 so it is basically "harder" than the other one. That should solve your problem.
  2. I tried sleeping with two inserts (M & L) the first night and thought it was great. The next night I added the small one in also and slept with all three for about 10 days. It wasn't quite as good as just the two but I kept trying. Finally I went back to the first configuration (M & L) a couple of days ago and it is definitely the best for me as a side sleeper. I have one pillow with all three on the bed too, for the same reason as you do, when I am sitting up reading. It is fine if I fall asleep on it, but only once in a while. Thanks for the great recommendation!!
  3. I got a Samsung 40" 5 series. My first "Smart" TV!! My old one was also a Samsung and lasted a long time. It was only a 33" or somewhere abouts, new one seems soooo much larger!! I can't unbox it alone, I'm hoping the Dish tech will help me and get it all set up with the new Hopper. I'm going to be playing with my new toys for days I think learning how everything works!! Meanwhile it is weird not having the TV on in the background. I dug out my old "boom box" the CD and Tape parts are no longer working but the radio part does so at least there is some sounds in the house. Hoping tomorrow goes smoothly, I hate when there are disruptions like this!!
  4. 11,650 steps yesterday. Spending a little more time sitting, Millie cat gets in my lap the minute I sit so I guess I have been neglecting her. Maybe I do need to slow down a bit. I'll see how today goes. Not much planned for today... Whelp, my TV died! Also my Dish box is so old it needs upgrading. I've been a Dish customer for 16yrs, made me eligible for a free Hopper upgrade. The tech is coming to install new box tomorrow, but I also think the TV itself died, so I will be taking a trip to town and and get new TV so tech can set up all tomorrow. Yay for new TV???
  5. 11,730 steps yesterday. The crystal lady was here for 3 hours so not too much walking during that time. She paid by check this time...finally realized it was the better way to pay. I just asked her to mark them "garage sale items/purchase" which she did. So Monday's are going to be on the hectic side again for a while... I went out to deposit the check and do a tiny grocery run so got some extra steps there. Nothing on agenda today.
  6. What annoys me is that with all the time that is being devoted to Christine's wedding prep now, that there will be a next season devoted to showing the Wedding AGAIN!!! And then the Honeymoon???? "Dog" help us!!
  7. 11,967 steps yesterday. Slowed down a bit, lap time with Millie cat and even dozed off in the recliner mid day! Knees a touch achey so the rest came well. The crystal lady messaged me early this morning and wants to make another purchase. So the morning will be spent with her. Other than that, just taking the garbage up the road is all I have planned.
  8. Amen!!
  9. Sorry if I got the events confused @General Days! I can't keep up with the whole twisted time frame as presented on screen... my bad... I basically throw my hands up and say whatever! Then finally through discussions here I piece the timeframe together better.
  10. Yes, that is quite the crowd. Just maybe Truely didn't want to be in that crowd of people. I think Maddie was having the new baby during Gwens shower. She has the baby in a carrier now for the wedding dress shopping. Yeah Meri's friends are trying really hard to support her, but I'm not getting happy vibes from any of their conversation. It feels very stilted/strained.
  11. True, but her mentions are very low keyed and not a point of focus. Just like some of the other oldest kids, they aren't choosing to be in the limelight.
  12. Guess I forgot to hit Submit yesterday. Friday's total steps was 12,176. Yesterday's total steps were: 13,026. Tried to get more steps in earlier in the day when I am usually doing more things on the computer. I usually just do the minimum 200/hr until around noon, but I want to steps spread out a little better. So far no pains, I do notice knees will be stiff first couple of steps when I first stand up after siitting if I sit too long. Another reason to spread the steps out more... Nothing really planned for the day, but I'm sure I'll keep busy!
  13. Yeah, she was not happy with me then. It was her lap time (she does have me fairly well trained) and I had the audacity to be doing something other than sitting down and holding her!!
  14. The Sound of Music was my late DH's favorite movie! We watched it every year at Thanksgiving as the beginning of the Christmas season. When we traveled around Europe one time, we visited a couple sites in Austria where the movie was filmed. On our 10th wedding anniversary we stayed in the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe VT. Rosemary the youngest daughter, I think Maria's and the Cap., lived there (this was in -94)and gave talks in the evening and hosted singalongs. Maria, the Captain and 6 of their children are all buried in the family plot on the grounds. It was awesome and hubby just loved it! That was our last big trip before his illnesses began.
  15. That's a great substitution!!
  16. My late Baby Boo (avatar) was a good part Maine C**** . You can't see it too well in that photo. Mama Millie, the OG of all my feral community, who now lives indoors looks like she may have some in her too. The other day she was annoyed because I was doing a lot of walking in the house and not making a lap available for her so she picked a box I was getting ready to use to sit in to get back at me!!
  17. Oh @Absolom, ouch!! Take it easy today! I'm so sorry you had such a rough day yesterday, not to even mention the vase! (((HUGS)))
  18. 12,661 steps yesterday. It's going to be another very cold frosty day so my activities will mostly be indoors. Everything outside is covered with hoar frost and visibility is not very far. I think I'll hit the shredder today and the ever present laundry!
  19. 12,222 steps yesterday. Pretty much just doiing things inside. My friend gave me an old flannel sheet so I cut it up and made a couple more straw stuffed pillows and blankets for the kitty beds in their house. She's bringing me an old memory foam pad from her bed in a few days that I plan to cut up and cover the platform where they have several old kitty beds that they love. This way the whole platform can be one big bed! The remnant pieces will go into Chewy boxes for individual beds. Little chores, and walking in the house... that's all for today.
  20. Even at that percentage, it is a pretty telling/sad story about a dad's relationship with his children.
  21. 11,339 steps yesterday. More Millie cat lap time and more time on the computer researching other sources I might be able to sell my crystals to. Kind of a frustrating occupation. Spent some time pulling out a few Christmas decorations. Of course several need new batteries, naturally a size I don't have! The crystal lady now wants me to come and give classes at her shop where I can sell some of my crystals if I want. Frankly, not interested in that, been there done that, retired years ago. No interest is starting up anything like that again. I haven't replied to her yet but will have to soon. sigh....
  22. Is it possible it is being used partially as collateral for the new $2.1 mil mansion? After all between Kody and Robyn, they own a big chunk of CP, especially now that it is paid off.
  23. 13,147 steps yesterday. I had to go to two grocery stores to get the items on my list. The first one is the larger store and I walked every aisle again even though I didn't need anything on each. Still just mild aches in right knee when I first stand up, but passes as soon as I start moving. So all is still good with this pace. Nothing special on the agenda other than laundry today.
  24. 11,577 steps yesterday. Millie cat insisted on a several long lap sessions. I've kind of been putting her off so thought I'd give her what she wanted yesterday. Besides I've had a few twinges of aches in right knee so pulling back didn't hurt me any. Still a number that amazes me when I think about where I was a couple weeks ago! Garbage up to the road and a quick PO/grocery run is all for today. Decided to put off going to town (either one) for a few days. I'm kind of enjoying the quiet and not "having" to do anything.
  25. Yes! That is what Meri needs going forward. To have a strong voice of reason beside her to see through Kody's doublespeak, wishy washy plans and crazy thinking.
