  1. 5,263 steps yesterday. Yesterday was just about the same as the day before. Just puttering in the house. Again too cold for work in the garage. Today looks to be warmer, so maybe some work in the garage after a quick run to town to close out my old checking account and pick up some blood test strips.
  2. 4,736 steps yesterday. Feels like I didn't do much, I had planned to work in garage, but it was just too cold to do that. So I spent the day sitting with cat in lap, and also doing a lot of cleaning and rearranging in my office. Now that the crystals are slowly moving out, I can start to think about what I am going to do with the room. Still a long way to go but now two large bookcases are empty, one already moved to garage, I have space!!! No specific plans for today. At some point this week I'll make a trip to town to finally close old checking account. I'm finally sure all payments etc have been transferred to new account.
  3. 4,969 steps yesterday. My errands amounted to most of my steps yesterday. Did a few chores and then had lots of cat in lap time while researching on computer. The time change always messes with my energy for a couple of days while I adjust. I can't say how much I wish we'd just get rid of it!! I finally decided on an inexpensive Cannon Pixma inkjet printer, I really don't print much so this one will be fine. And if it dies in a year or two, at $39, I can easily replace it. The last time I had a Cannon Pixma, it lasted years and it was not an expensive one either so I think this one will do me fine. As far as city vs country living, I've done both as an adult. Despite some of the drawbacks of being out in the boonies, I would never go back to a city, well maybe a tiny, tiny one like the one near me, but I prefer the privacy and quiet of where I am on a dirt road with only 3 neighbors each with several acres to separate us. Of course I am part hermit so this suits me well!
  4. 5,072 steps yesterday. Not the day I had planned, and I didn't accomplish what II had planned, but oh well... I did clear off another bookcase I can move into the garage for storing boxes. So all was not lost. Plus I made some money! (: Today, it is errands, garbage up the road, small grocery shopping, and PO. Then hopefully some work in the garage. And just maybe make up my mind on a printer!!
  5. And wasn't that carriage house done a year or two ago?? Hey TLC!! This horse is dead, been ground up into dog food, eaten by the dog and pooped out. Why do we need to see this $hit over and over?!!
  6. You were a hero while they were kids, sure ....but they grew up and saw reality. Not so much a hero any more. Janelle is not screwing you dude!! Look in the mirror to see who is doing the screwing!!
  7. Actually Kody is on all four lots so he get 50% of each one. So he and Robyn together end up with 5 half interests in the land. 5/8 of the value! So unfair! Definitely screwing the OG3!
  8. BS Kody!! Janelle is right it is a diversion from talking about the land. Paying it off or buying her out. Shut up Robyn!!
  9. I watched the extended version of last week's show yesterday. All I could see that was added was several Kody couch speeches again trying to make himself look better.
  10. Hey Kody, Christine's dating/or not is none of your business any way. You expect reports????

I foresee this setting a very bad precedent!! Letting them color on the walls is not going to be so "cute" when they do it unsupervised with permanent markers!!

I get a blank screen when I click the link?? Is it because I am not on Instagram?
  14. 5,382 steps yesterday. Working in the garage...almost done! And a big load of laundry kept me busy. Plus I did some sorting in my office, for the crystal lady who usually comes on Mondays. But this morning, I got a text from her saying she wanted to come and "play" today too. She just left about an hour ago that is why I am so late to post. She is so high energy and mixed with putting each flat out for her to go through, it is a pretty tiring process. BUT, she is buying just about everything I get out so that is a good thing. We just about emptied another whole rack today that I can now move to the garage. Hopefully at some point today, I can just sit and rest and put my feet up! @Yeah No the filter I am insulating is the one for my well water. Aside from that fine filter my water is really good straight out of the ground w/out softening. As far as the garbage collection discussion, here in MT we do have a couple county companies that basically divide up the county, no overlap, for once a week pickup. No recycling. When I lived up in the Sierras in CA we had to take our garbage to the county dump. We also had no home delivery for mail which we had to pick up at the PO. In CA we did have a septic tank, but fortunately we had city water which was really nice. Here in MT, I have both septic and a well for my water. Makes me sometimes wish for living in town......sometimes....not so often! 😸
  15. 5,754 steps yesterday. My friend finished the insulation project and it looks really nice. It will be much easier to remove the panel and the insulation board to access the water filter now. I helped with the clean up after she finished. Then lots of work in the garage. I am almost done. It looks so much better with the boxes stacked on the shelves instead of piled up all over the floor. Still a fair amount of work to do, but the end is definitely in sight! My back and knees are really aching from all the bending and lifting of the boxes. I might take today off and just do inside projects today. I'll see how the morning goes.
  16. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Love seeing the work in progress too!
  17. 5,790 steps yesterday. Helped my friend with the heat tape and started organizing the "yard sale" boxes in the garage. I have emptied a metal storage shelf in my office from crystals, so moved it to the garage. Now I have even more places for the boxes so I can make room for my car. I started stacking boxes on some of the other shelves already in the garage. It won't take too much more work to be able to get my little car in there again. I know opening and closing the big door is going to scare the heck out of the cats but they'll get used to it. If my knees and back don't mind, I may continue clear the space in the garage. They weren't happy last night so I just have to see how things go this morning.
  18. 5,697 steps yesterday. My friend wasn't up to coming over yesterday. I had already dragged out the insulation from the garage and the heat tape and extension cord. Decided to leave the insulation boards out by the filter as the weather looked good. Well, overnight the forecast changed to snow this morning. go figure. Hope it isn't much and stops quickly. She's coming today to get it finished. Did some chores inside, changed bedding and even got out the down comforter. Not much else on agenda for today. I have pretty much decided I am just going to get a new regular cartridge printer. I can get a decent, for my purposes, on Amazon for $50-$75. The Epson has been problems since the get go and I just don't see throwing more money at it for a new cable too. I may just drive up to Best Buy tomorrow and get one there. At least then I can just take it back , no hassle, if there is a problem. Thanks @altopower for the additional info.
  19. I have voted Absentee for about 15 years. That way I can take my time and not feel rushed at the polls. I would never go back to in person. I mailed my ballot last week and it is done.
  20. Not my choice either. It feels like a giant cavern. I can only imagine how dark it will be with the precious "artwork" up all over. You just know every space is going to be covered with giant paintings!
  21. I doubt Truely will be having many/any overnights there anyway.
  22. 4,851 steps yesterday. I did expect more, but I guess factoring in the travel time to and from the dr and the waiting room time, I'm not surprised. I did do a little grocery shopping but that is all. I saw the cutest little black bunny munching on grasses next to the train track by the grocery store. I wish I had taken a photo. I hope it is a feral and not someone's escaped pet. Today my friend is coming over to heat wrap my under the house water pipe by the filter. Then I am going to do some organizing in the garage to make room for my car to pull in this Winter. That is going to be quite the task because it is the big pile of boxes we moved from the kitty side of the garage. Fortunately since my friend took all her tools home I have several shelves and carts to move the boxes to now. I am probably going to have to replace my Epson 2400 Eco Tank printer already. It is barely a year old but has been nothing but trouble. I looked up the unit on Amazon where I bought it and they don't even list it any more and in the little explanation pop up it says among other things that they can't back up items that don't perform up to specs. A lemon, I guessed as much!! I'm going back to a simple cartridge printer which is adequate for my needs. Sheesh.....I didn't even get a year of decent printing out of the Epson!! One more thing I had to putz around trying to find a fix that basically wasn't there!
  23. Thanks for that info. Now I am for sure going to seek out the proper dr to see re my leg so I can take advantage of that. I have diabetes and get the free pair of diabetic shoes (first time this year) the diabetes may even already qualify me for the custom compression socks. I think I will check with my Podiatrist today and then my pcp if need be. I hate the over the counter compression this could really help me!
  24. Totally in agreement with @JayDub1987! Better, yes, but that isn't saying much!! And yes, I'm here to the end too.... LOL, I'm getting pretty good at Mahjong, I might be a Master by the time SW fades off into obscurity! 😸
  25. Yes, what new we are getting is definitely better than the past years, but we just aren't getting enough of it and what we get is so padded with old stuff, it makes it hard to sit through, to get the good bits.
