Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
Gramto6 replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
Maybe because they thought if had Essential in its name people would believe it was essential to a good breakfast. -
The hypocrisy of this whole show is just so glaring. Totally producer driven with no thought to the actual experiences we see of the cook. Noah was definitely the worst cook of the night!

But it is barely September. I hate how they rush all the seasons these days!! -

Half way watching...I can't believe Noah walked into theSavoy Hotel in his overalls! Disrespectful.

I loved that!! David Tennant is my first and favorite Doctor. After finding the show, I searched all over and found many of the original shows online, also watched the Eccleston year. I think he may be my 2nd favorite Dr. I bought the very first episodes on disc from Amazon. I guess they are obsolete now that new computers don't have disc players any more.😠

Restaurant: Impossible - General Discussion
Gramto6 replied to Sir RaiderDuck OMS's topic in Restaurant: Impossible
I think her clothing was inappropriate from the get go. Way too reveling and too sexy for a restaurant floor person in where WI? And for sure the tattoo should have been mostly covered. Somehow I got the feeling the wardrobe was purchased for the show. I do hope she makes a go of it and succeeds but I think she needs to stop trying to be the fashionista of the restaurant world of WI. -

No, no, no kids, Twit will be wanting to adopt...I don't want to see that ever!! -
I got the chocolate cherry cheesecake layered flavor. It is OK but I don't like the tiny chocolate chips. I don't think my store had the sea salt carmel flavor 'cause that would have been what I would have bought!

Yeah me too living in the sticks is great most of the time, but it does have its drawbacks sometimes. No taxis, busses, don't know what I will do when the time comes I can't drive any more.

Prime is two day delivery, supposedly. I too have noticed a delay in several items I ordered that were listed as Prime. We pay the extra the least they could do is make good on their promise!

Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore
Gramto6 replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
No, not over 75, but I am 70. I have actually gotten to walk through a couple times when I was 69. My kids and grands all live in the SF Bay Area, if I were to snowbird anywhere I'd go there. But thanks for the invite. Who knows one day I may end up in AZ. -

I travel once or twice a year. An advantage to being a COL is that I get to walk through the scanner, not take things out of my suitcase or take my shoes off. I usually fly Alegiant so that may be part of it and I pre check in, maybe that makes a difference too. I carry a small suitcase that fits under the seat in front of me and it is good for 4-5 days of travel for me. I am thinking of maybe being a snowbird this winter (I live in MT) if I do I will take the train, so much easier and none of the extra fees for everything. -
No not the only one! Agree about hubby too!

Worst Cooks In America - General Discussion
Gramto6 replied to Aethera's topic in Worst Cooks In America
In the beginning, this show was educational for both the contestants and viewers. There were actual lessons on how to do things. It has devolved into this "cartoon like" show the last few years and it is sad to see. -
WGN has been airing JAG in consecutive order with no deleted episodes. By their schedule it looks like they may get to the end of S10 on Labor Day Monday.

Janelle Brown: Smarter Than Your Average Brown (Maybe)
Gramto6 replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
I think Gabe just did what he had to do to get out of the circus his fambly has become. He was definitely against the move and this is probably his way of extricating himself from this mess. Good for him! -

My dishwasher died a year or so ago. I live alone and it really was a waste using it anyway. Now I use it as a drying rack and it is perfect! -
Kids Baking Championship - General Discussion
Gramto6 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Kids Baking Championship
I felt for Sadie(?) she said her teacher died and she was going to donate some of the money if she won to the family. That is a really hard thing to go through. When I was in the 6th grade my teacher died (I'm 70 so a long time ago) it is still a memory that haunts me, we were shell shocked when the other teacher came in and told us. My DD's 4th grade teacher died (son had her 2 years before) it was devastating for them too. At that age, teachers are on almost the same level as a parent and losing one is shocking. Good for her to be thinking of the family. -
Amen! Watching it too and he is such a di¢k! So glad Mac finally dumped him
