  1. Netflix 4-episode doc series that premieres August 9
  2. An article in the Media thread said their stuff started airing yesterday or possibly today. Which makes sense since the WGA went on strike a few weeks ago
  3. Temporary scab writers starting today on GH according to this article https://shadowandact.com/general-hospital-hires-temporary-writers-whove-crossed-the-picket-line-to-make-new-episodes-during-wga-strike
  4. I was actually surprised she came clean to Sonny all of a sudden, but it’s definitely a relief given how long this story has been going on
  5. Highlights for new programming in August (it's pretty barren): Frontline: "Inside the Iranian Uprising" (August 8) "Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland" - as previously stated this doc series makes its debut this month, specifically August 28-30. How the 5 parter is doled out among these 3 nights may differ among local affiliates; WETA is showing Part 1 on the 28th, Part 2 & 3 on the 29th and Part 4& 5 on the 30th Several already airing doc series will have their final episodes this month, including Iconic America, Human Footprint and The Great American Recipe (Season 2) As usual, check your local listings as there are probably repeats you've missed
  6. The show is on Max in the US and they are only up to Season 3 Also to note, I saw an article that indicated US Ghosts telecasts will be repeats, so I don't think they will attempt to match UK Ghosts when airing
  7. Premieres August 23 (time TBA) on HBO and streams on Max
  8. Thank you, I couldn't remember what the year was
  9. As far as Janet goes, as I think I understand it, the Chinese had sent her back into the past to 1992 (I think that's the date). When she and her then-coworker Rebrov (who was adorably dorky here) stopped somewhere in 1992 so he could ask her on a date, he got a text on his phone, which turned out to be from future Janet who was being held in 1992 by the Chinese (at least I think so). He was able to remember that from George telling him the phrase on the note that Shiv picked up that Janet left before she was taken elsewhere and then was able to tell the team what he thought was going on with Janet. Janet apparently is really, really smart and knows how to build a machine that resets time (maybe she built the Lazarus machine?) so the Chinese grabbed her and had her build a time reset machine for them. But something has gone wrong and I think their black hole is unstable and keeps exploding and destroys the universe (or that section of it). But there's a deadman switch at Lazarus that resets things when it's destroyed thus the 3 weeks back in time and repeat loop
  10. I just saw this this morning and it was really good. Brooke clearly loved her mother and has probably compartmentalized some of her feelings about her. Brooke’s gone through a lot in her life, including her early sexualized roles, and it was interesting to hear her thoughts and feelings about things. I’m glad she’s currently in a good place with her husband and kids
  11. How did Archie figure out George set off the bomb and caused the last reset? That wasn’t clear to me
  12. Woooh, Janet actually got sent back in time. Next season is really going to be interesting. Really good episode. I liked Archie teaming up with that Chinese agent, George finally figuring out how to save Shiv and so much else. And George finally gets his girlfriend back. Did he lie to her about them being married and having a baby?

    She Said (2022)

I saw this a few weeks ago and thought it was pretty good given it was mostly a lot of people talking. There were so many moving scenes, particularly from women characters. The scenes with I think lawyer Lanny Davis were pretty striking. First, that he would continue to defend Weinstein (or just be his lawyer) and then him talking around NDA agreements and somewhat confirming a range. It is too bad it basically disappeared at the box office and awards circuits.
  14. I think Ken is recurring so he’ll likely be back at some point. Cody has mentioned his half sister Serena on occasion, but otherwise no Baldwins in story at the moment
  15. That prison waiting room is super weird looking
  16. I thought it was Sasha’s regular anti-depressants prescription that Maxie showed the detective and not the new pills?
  17. Cyrus is certainly getting into a lot of people’s business lately
  18. So does this mean Selina has been lying this whole time about the games being legal?!?
  19. Stabbing Cody is baadd. Obviously, she’s going to get arrested for it. Hopefully Sasha gets sent to a mental hospital rather than jail while the actress is on maternity leave. Also hopefully, Gladys is so horrified she comes clean or changes her ways
  20. More from the latest issue of DWM https://cultbox.co.uk/news/headlines/famous-mystery-guest-star-and-colossus-teased-for-doctor-who-finale-filming-block
  21. How long after she dumped him did she meet and plan to marry the new guy? It’s seemed like mere weeks to me
  22. The competition (and NBC's schedule) is going to be very weird this Fall due to the strikes
  23. NBC has released its Fall premiere dates and it looks like the show is being pushed to mid-season because of the strikes http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2023/07/19/nbc-announces-2023-24-fall-premiere-dates-835211/20230719nbc01/
