  1. Sad news on the additional cast cuts especially Lana Lang, John Henry and Natalie. Hopefully those 3 at least are able to recur
  2. The Monday show’s interview with one of the prosecutors on the team that was prosecuting Vice President Agnew for his bribery was pretty fascinating. I didn’t previously know the nitty gritty details on the prosecution of Agnew, especially the details of why the prosecution was intent on getting Agnew to resign (they were worried about Nixon resigning because of Watergate and then the indicted or convicted Agnew would be president) in exchange for having him plead guilty to one count of tax evasion. His response to the question of whether the prosecutors for Trump’s documents case would be open to demanding Trump never seek political office again in exchange for no jail time or something like that was that he didn’t think they would consider that as it would make the prosecution look political, which makes sense
  3. I just saw that, though not those specific details. That’s too bad, I grew to like General Lane
  4. First look picture of Jodie Whittaker, Bella Ramsey and another cast member in the BBC’s “Time” series 2 along with further casting information https://www.bbc.com/mediacentre/2023/time-s2-first-look/ Note that the season is co-produced by Britbox North America so the season will be shown on the service at some point for US and Canadian fans
  5. Probably because she become a born-again Christian
  6. I got ABC News coverage from 2pm ET on and they’re still talking
  7. Ncuti Gatwa in British Vogue and kinda naked https://www.vogue.co.uk/article/ncuti-gatwa-british-vogue-cover-interview?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_social-type=owned
  8. Treat Williams, who guest starred a few times as Frank’s friend, has died
  9. The two ladies who do everything together including showering together but aren’t in a relationship and are married to others (husbands)? That’s just weird
  10. But she doesn’t know who Mason’s boss is so killing him will just result in someone else threatening her or the big boss killing her and/or Sonny
  11. I am really enjoying this show. This episode was a real trip with the constant resets. I can see it driving some people mad especially since the agents remember what happened
  12. Renewed! https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/gotham-knights-canceled-cw-renews-superman-and-lois-all-american-homecoming-1235641833/ That’s a welcome surprise. The CW also renewed All American: Homecoming and canceled Gotham Knights
  13. There was a “In Loving Memory” picture of Jackie Zeman at the end of today’s episode
  14. In the very entertaining opening number, at about 2 minutes in there was a lady playing a slow song at the piano and the audience cheered her but I didn’t recognize her. Who was she?
  15. Or he’ll think he’s Eddie Maine for real
  16. Speaking of preemptions, we’ll likely have another one Tuesday afternoon for err, news reasons. But since the main news event happens starting about 3pm ET, I’m not sure how much ABC will interrupt the 2pm broadcast and whether preempting the 3pm broadcast but not the 2pm one will result in the episode being repeated the next day or we’ll just have to catch the episode on ABC.com or Hulu
  17. Canceled https://www.givememyremote.com/remote/2023/06/09/nbc-cancels-grand-crew-canceled-young-rock/
  18. Cultbox covers recent filming with Ncuti and Bonnie Langford https://cultbox.co.uk/news/headlines/doctor-who-films-in-cardiff-with-ncuti-gatwa-and-bonnie-langford
  19. My area was shown a repeat after the ABC News report ended, so we’ll get today’s show Monday
  20. Tracy is clearly getting back at Drew for trying to blackmail her by accusing him of knocking Ned into the pool. Lying about it seems like a pretty heavy thing though. And did Nina see the whole thing or just Ned falling into the pool? It appears Tracy and Drew didn’t see her. If she did see the whole thing, it will be interesting to see if she comes forward to exonerate Drew What was the deal with Sonny talking to Anna? That just seemed like a weird out of the blue pairing Similar in the US though it depends on the state. From a few things I’ve read you spend some time in in a facility to become fit to stand trial but it can take time
  21. Trailer ETA: Full press release http://thefutoncritic.com/news/2023/06/08/hbo-original-documentary-rock-hudson-all-that-heaven-allowed-debuts-june-28-529311/20230608hbo01/
  22. The ratings for the first season ranged between about 700k and about 1 million (possibly just overnights; not too bad for an HBO show), then dived to under 500k for the second
  23. I started wondering that myself in yesterday’s episode
  24. Who alum Bonnie Langford is back as Mel Bush for Series 14 https://www.doctorwho.tv/news-and-features/mel-come-back-bonnie-langford-returns-to-doctor-who-as-mel-bush
  25. I've watched the first episode so far and it's definitely interesting. It certainly seems like the parents aren't entirely forthcoming
