Ryan confirmed to Ava that he got Esme to befriend and seduce Spencer as part of his long term plan. I was sure I heard Ryan and Esme talk about that early on, but Esme’s story has gone on so long and meandered around so much that I wasn’t sure that that plot point hadn’t been retconned Also, I found it hilarious how Esme kept running off. That’s one smart girl

Former Doctor Jodie Whittaker and former Showrunner Chris Chibnall among others attended the Gallifrey One convention this weekend and each gave an interview on Friday viewed by the convention attendees. Chibnall also participated on several panels. Neither said anything on current projects but Jodie reportedly told a small group of fans at a reception Friday night that she was doing a six part series in Australia for the streamer Paramount+ and that she had just flown in from Australia. The preliminary ratings show a 0.3 in the 18-49 demo and 2.048 million viewers. It was actually tied for 2nd in its timeslot on the demo (with the finale of ABC's The Parent Test) and was 3rd in its timeslot in viewers. It seemed to fit well with its lead-in Next Level Chef, which had 0.3 in the demo and 1.883 million viewers. So not great but not bad at the same time, especially for Fox
