  1. I think my favorite moment is when the teacher caught Ben reading something else, but when she moved the book away it was AP Latin and she rolled her eyes and let him carry on. I do think it's time to let Ben mature a little and stop being such a tool if the end game is for him and Devi to be together. I do like that Ben & Paxton realized that Des is basically a blend of both of them.
  2. Well, we know 13% alcohol, right? No matter what happens Season 3, I really hope they keep the Gut Milk jokes coming. It never fails to make me laugh. I absolutely loved the yodeling version of the theme music at the end. Genius. I think it's best to not over analyze the mystery or there are just too many plot holes. I really don't care that much though. The three together are such a delight I don't even care that much. I can't wait for Season Three!
  3. Add me to the Lindy supporters! I think she's cute and other than worrying too much, I think these two are the most likely to stay together. They seem to have the most natural rapport with each other. Mitch and Krysten and Nate and Stacia also seem to get along easily, but I just think there are too many issues with Nate and Mitch for that to last long term. Lindy is high strung, but she does respond when he tells her to stop worrying.
  4. I get that with the alien, but she is basically always making fun of Max and insinuating how dumb he is. Max was the first to discover Harry was an alien and he was pretty good at giving as good as he got when arguing with Harry before he was even working with Sahar, so I don't think he's stupid, yet Sahar acts like he's completely brainless. In some weird way, Max's relationship with Sahar mimics his dad's relationship with his mom - she is the boss of him.
  5. I am glad Alison's team won. Not because of her obviously - she's obnoxious. But they had the house I liked the best. I thought their outdoor space, kitchen, living room and kids room were all the best. I hated their guest bedroom. That bed was a monstrosity and the green paint was horrible, but take out the bed and repaint and its' an easy fix. Repainting that green eyesore of the exterior, not so much. I really hated that color. Still, as a whole better than the other two IMO. That father/son team was awful and should never have been chosen for this show. Dad having a hissy and tossing the door over the balcony was a culmination of his crap attitude. I don't even think they should have won the kids room - it's so specific to grade school age kids! It's too dangerous and difficult for parents putting smaller kids to bed and too juvenile for older kids. I think that room appeals to kids aged 4-8. Too dangerous for any younger, and any older and it's already not cool. And the less said about Ty's team the better. I just didn't like them at all. I like the concept of the show, but man, HGTV, do a better job casting.
  6. I agree with everyone - too much of everyone except Harry. Just no. And now I have to add Sahar to my annoying list - when did she become so mean to her "friend"? Sahar is a bully to Max and talks to him almost as rudely as Harry does.
  7. Because he's a 17yo kid who keeps trying to show how tough he is and being sensitive is considered weak? Because he's still pissed at her for betraying him by taking Jackie his sworn enemy and leaving him behind? I admit I was disappointed he didn't go after her into the yard, especially after the conversation with his spirit guide. I think I would have preferred that to the last moment with the grandmother, especially since it didn't ring true to their relationship. It felt too tidy for this show. My favorite moment was Willie Jack's face and "the fuck?" when she saw Bear and Jackie sleeping against each other on the couch. She is my favorite. I just discovered this show a week ago and I've binged the whole thing. Now I am waiting and it sucks! I cannot say how much I love it - it's such a perfect blend of sweet and sour, and the mix of humor with the sad elements is perfection for me. I love all of the characters that populate the show, and the kids are all fantastic in their own unique ways.
  8. How can you forget Mark the Shark??!? ;-p I live in Central California and it's about 100 degrees or more here for four months straight and the lows overnight are usually mid-70's - Bihn would have a heart attack because I run my air conditioner 24/7. And good luck unplugging the televisions in my house - all are plugged in behind dressers or consoles. What stupidity - most appliances are built to be energy efficient. Did he actually expect Morgan to shower in pitch black darkness? Mitch needs to school him about LEDs! Completely agree! She reminds me of one of my other favorites from this show - Philly Steph who was also matched with a pissy guy, and look how that turned out! (Although to be fair, I don't think AJ is as bad as he was portrayed on the show)
  9. Can't say I'm surprised - she was always his second choice no matter how much he protested.
  10. Justin and Alexis are both responsible for what happened with their dogs! Shame on both of them! Both dogs should have been on leashes, not just Justin's dog. After Justin's dog showed teeth TWICE, it was time to call off the meeting. Instead Alexis just allows her "baby" to roam unsupervised! Now both dogs are suffering because of human stupidity. Fuck that production crew that just let that happen. They were probably gleeful. Ugh. With the exception of Greg of the double ovens, Stacia might be the only person whose own place is nicer than the apartments the participants are put in for filming. But what the hell with staging her freaking house like an Airbnb? It is so pretentious and stupid to put a tray on the end of the bed as "decoration" every single day that you aren't even using! Just why???? And also, Stacia asking Nate "can you tell me something RIGHT NOW????" I actually like that Nate said I will when it comes up organically. Pushy much? And not everyone feels the same way - why is she hassling him because he feels different about his birth mother than she does about her birth father? He is entitled to his own feelings! I go back and forth on Lindy and Miguel. I just think they are a mismatch as far as temperament - she is nervous and he is blase. It's a bad mix. STOP TALKING ABOUT D-DAY! I wonder if this keeps coming up because there is nothing else there to create drama between them. It's like when Jessica was upset that Austin wouldn't say I love you. A big nothing. Maybe we are all being psyched out by the production and these two are fine? I think she is cute with her freckles and curls but the constant bright pink lipstick is distracting. She needs to explore some other colors...... Morgan and Bihn. Nope, not happening. Krysten and Mitch for the win! Who knew? But his apartment - What!!!???!!! So gross!!!!!! I did like the coupons with expiration dates - she is adorable and fun! I hope she finds someone who deserves her someday - I don't think it's Mitch. A leopard doesn't change it's spots - he's going to be an asshole soon again - I can feel it......
  11. They sure do! A lot of characters to sort out. Also, what was the point of Amy Schumer? I know a lot of people didn't like her, but now I am wondering what was the point of her even being on this show? Obviously she isn't the murderer, but it would be nice to circle back to her somehow.
  12. Yes! One thousand times yes! I did laugh at the Judy Cooter/Pooper bit, but other than Asta, Harry, the kids and the cops I really wish all the other characters went back to the background and only popped up enough to support the main storyline. They don't all need their own story. Especially D'arcy and the mayor and his wife! I have no idea what is happening with Terminator lady and the guy with the alien ball, plus now a different type of alien is there? It's getting overly complicated. I preferred the show when it was really more about Harry trying to assimilate into human life and him working around pretending to be Dr. Vanderspeigle. One other thing, I also laughed at "They call me Big Black!" "Great! Call me Medium Brown!" And if you haven't watched Reservation Dogs, Asta's dad as Uncle Brownie on that show is epic!
  13. I got my wish - the return of The Baron, The Sire and demon dog! Were they actually eating the Dodo at the reception????
  14. I don't know if this is a spoiler seeing as it came from social media, but regarding Morgan's unfinished BSN: Here Here! I still think Mitch is a pill, but this has been a fascinating watch in terms of what happens when one spouse is not immediately attracted. This reminds me a lot of Jamie and Doug - she wasn't immediately attracted, but she was open. Much like Krysten, Doug knew it and still kept an open mind. I am kind of digging their vibe - they aren't here for the drama and I love it. Their expressions at that dinner were hilarious. Krysten taking a shot and just sitting back is exactly how I would have been in that situation. Mitch looked like he would rather be anywhere other than that messy dinner. I do agree "pounce" was probably an exaggeration given what we've seen of Mitch - I don't think he has that much confidence with women. It was probably a drunken pass as @Jack Sampson speculates. I freaking love how Captain Krysten has turned it around now - know your worth girl and make sure he knows it too!!!!!
  15. Oh I think he was very aware considering his laughing it off with the "saved by the f$$king mariachis!" comment. I actually like Lindy and Miguel, but I'm not sure her nervous nelly and his blase "I'll see how I feel in 8 weeks" mentality are a good match. Or maybe they will balance each other out? I did like when she was starting to spiral over her normal part time routine and he just shut her down with a "you worry too much". And she did stop! So I guess we'll see..... Alexis and Justin are just.....something. This is going to implode spectacularly. Both are slightly unhinged. And what is with these two and their inappropriate tropical outfits? First Alexis last week with the red boob cutout turtleneck with long sleeves, this week Justin with a turtleneck sweater and jeans! Gah! And what the hell with Justin crying over Bihn? They just met two weeks ago - this is not his lifelong best buddy. What nonsense. I don't mind Stacia and Lindy both expressing concern for each other. I don't think either is wrong in their worry. Lindy protests that she's fine too much, and Stacia should give side eye to Nate at this point. He does seem way too into his SM, and he could barely listen on that picnic when she was baring her soul to him until she asked if he would go to therapy and then record scratch. He gives player vibes so I think she's playing this right. But she also seems kind of fragile for someone who talks a good game about how fierce she is...... Krysten and Mitch just sitting back and watching the drama unfold at that dinner table was awesome. Way to go olds! I have a glimmer of hope for these two after this week, but no doubt Mitch will screw it up somehow once back in his element. Bihn is a judgemental asshole. How dare he judge Morgan for her family situation without knowing anything about it. And the woman is a nurse - get out of here with that shit about student debt. Once she finishes that ONE CLASS (good grief) she will be making great money! Screw him. She may have lied over one little thing on her application, but his attitude says way more about him as a person. Just no.
  16. I don't think under normal circumstances that these questions are appropriate for the first meet and greet, but this whole situation is weird, and I have no doubt that these conversations are encouraged and directed by the producers. But I do think brother is creepy. He's not Lindy's dad. I think Miguel handled it well. And my unpopular opinion is that I have appreciated their conversations even if Lindy does say "like" a lot - they have a nice mix of serious and silly and it does seem like we have been shown quite a bit of them sharing info about themselves that is useful for getting to know your stranger spouse. She doesn't bug me the way some others here feel ;-p
  17. Yeah I buy him being able to pick they lock, but they were breaking into buildings - are we supposed to buy that there is no security system there or cameras? That is just not believable to me for such an iconic location.
  18. Maybe my favorite part of the episode that they showed both of them befuddled by what the other was trying to say. I liked the conversation when he handed her the card saying "I can only understand 1/3 of what you are saying", and her reaction about how different it is on TV. I especially like the words on the bottom of the screen showing that what Mabel actually signed when thanking Theo for taking her was actually something about a fish ;-p What I didn't like was the ease with which they broke into Coney Island and wandered around for HOURS like the place was deserted and has zero security. Okayyy....... Gut Buzz Zero. Please show, never stop the Gut Milk jokes. I live for them. The Chorus Line stuff, and Charles and Oliver confessing all of the people who have touched the knife. So funny!
  19. Agree - anyone remember Danielle and Cody? They chose to stay together even though there was no sex in the entire experiment and she seemed ambivalent. She kept trying to "get there". They got divorced. Other than Jamie and Doug - are there any couples that stayed married on DD without having already had sex?
  20. I have zero problem with her laying it out like that after he told her that he wasn't attracted to her. If his policy is total honesty, she can do it too.
  21. All of this! Nandor's face! I am still laughing thinking about it! The banana in the glass was hilarious. "I'm the butler or some shit". I died with that gay quote. Also, "long island is the playground of the glitterati". Only Matt Berry can make all this stuff work. So awesome. "We're in too deep baby!!!!"
  22. I agree and disagree with Lindy here. There has to be some chemistry and attraction at the beginning or it's not going to last long, but down the road when it's not shiny and new anymore there is a choice to be made. And when hard times come, it's definitely a choice. But with your stranger spouse on a tv show? No way! There has to be some spark to get the relationship going in the first place! Boob window! Bwah ha ha!!!!! How I miss WNTW!!!!!!
  23. Um, a lot when you are raised in a very strict and conservative Christian home as she has been. I was as well (not 7th Day Adventist though) and it messed me up. I think Lindy explained it pretty well that there is a lot of guilt and shame related to sex that is taught and indoctrinated when you are a teen especially. I know many are down on her, but I thought their discussions were good and both of them are being honest about where they are coming from. They also have a fun camaraderie that bodes well for them. I do think they are matched well looks-wise and I still hold out hope for them. But is "Boats and Hos" a real saying? What does that even mean??? I think Miguel is pretty sexy looking. I laughed when he said he wasn't opposed to mediocre sex. :-p No hope for Mitch and Krysten. She is a boss and he doesn't deserve her and I hope when she dumps his ass he realizes what he lost. Alexis is lying to herself. No way is she into Justin as much as she is saying she is. He is too much. I cannot believe she went horseback riding braless! And I hope those boob cutouts on her dinner outfit provided some ventilation because it was long sleeved! In Mexico! I am getting hot just thinking about wearing long sleeves in PV.....I think she would have loved Olajuwon from last season. Nate and Stacia seem well matched despite the money stuff. He caved on the post-nup pretty quick. I had to FF through Bihn and Morgan - I know he had Covid, but dragging the weddings out this long, I just lost interest in them. They seem like a weird match, and by the previews, trouble is brewing....
