  1. Moving the conversation here in the episode thread ... I don't think those are comparable situations you mentioned. There's no surprise being spoiled if Diaz had mentioned more of the connection than just referring to Felicity as "Erin" in their confrontation. Unlike if they showed ARGUS coming to the rescue. So either something got chopped in the editing or it's just the writers' willingness to take too many shortcuts and fail in having the audience clearly connect the dots. I get streamlining the storytelling but too many things are seem to be left up to audience interpretation. BTW, when did Oliver ask NTA to "carry on" his legacy? I didn't pay a lot of attention to his farewell tour in the finale so I may have missed that part. Rene mentioned that in his conversation with Dinah.
  2. I did and I found it disconcerting as well. There was no warmth there, not even a hand to the shoulder. Feels like whatever was said could have easily been said by another ARGUS employee. I don't know if that's set up for next week, if it is it's such a weird one because there's really not much to glean from the interaction other than "Huh, David seems stiff." It's kinda like what I mentioned in News and Media thread about some people are saying Felicity got found out via the coding she did for the coffeeshop dude. But nobody really made the connection in the show so I don't know if it that was the case or the writers being so bad in writing again.
  3. I've seen people mention this in several places and I'm not quite sure there's a direct link. There could very well be, but the show didn't make it very clear that she was found because she helped out a dude with coding. Diaz could have said something like "I knew you couldn't help yourself" or a reference to her turning down the date or something, anything that would tie it back. Can't decide if it was oversight on the show's part, just the writers showing their incompetency yet again or just a coincidence.
  4. Emiko didn’t predate Thea? I thought Thea was based on Emiko. Huh. ETA: eh, I was thinking of Mia Dearden.
  5. Emiko Queen. Sister in the comics, but will she still be a sister on the show? Slabside Redemption is when Oliver gets out? Unmasked is the new GreenArrow?
  6. From Spoiler TV. Don’t know how accurate.
  7. I was hoping for Evans or Elba :P
  8. 3 times, Ryan Reynolds. I changed my answers and everything and I still got Ryan Reynolds. Oh well, I guess I could do worse.
  9. Same. Just now I saw this. Felicity tries to smile, to reassure Oliver but she doesn't quite make it there. She can't. Not with all the emotions she was probably feeling at that moment. And I love that one of the first things Oliver Queen says upon seeing his wife is this. I don't need convincing. I know this (in my bones). But I love that the show consistently reminds viewers that Oliver Queen loves Felicity Smoak very, very much.
  10. I've been operating under the assumption that everybody pretty much got exposed as vigilantes. I mean, they were running around with the FBI without masks in the finale, right? So the SCPD knew Dinah was a vigilante and still made her captain? Apologies if this had been raised before.
  11. Awww, that's pretty cool @tv echo! It sounds like they checked out the forum.
  12. LMAO! Right? Also, it's just a fun kiss. One of the things I love about Olicity is they can do the angsty kiss, the sexy kiss and fun ones like this, too.
  13. I like that Oliver also did a "muah" when Felicity planted one on his lips.
  14. This shot made me desperately want a scene where Felicity sees Oliver's prison bod, because HOT DAMN! Boy is ripped! Oh, was that in question? I identified him as Roy before he took his hoodie down when I saw the Arsenal outfit.
  15. Of course they're gonna make Olicity and Oliver and Felicity's fates murky. They're why a lot of us watch! I mean, the only people they really do "OMG" cliffhangers for are Oliver and Felicity (309, 409).
  16. If that's where Echo was doing the Instagram stories, I think David was there. I thought I saw him in one of them.
  17. That's where I've seen him. He looked really familiar. (I also thought maybe he was one of the cast of the Hugh Jackman circus movie.)
  18. The bad: There was not enough Diggle and there was too much of Dinah and Rene. Dinah being police captain is eye-roll inducing. Same with BS. Harkavy still can't freakin' act. Now with added misplaced smolder, if that's possible. The way she slinked in for the interview with the douchebag was hilarious. Look at that entrance again. So laughingly bad. Curtis is still annoying. Go away. Take your cute boyfriend and just leave. The good: Oliver, Felicity and Olicity. Hello, shirtlessness. There was one shot of Oliver from the back when he was doing pullups and the man looked like a Dorito. Felicity was adorable with her pink hair and overalls and I really enjoyed her fight scene with Diaz. I love that it was realistic. She's not a trained fighter but she used her smarts and the way she whacked him with that poker was satisfying. Knew he was going to get the upperhand but still. Both Emily and Stephen handled the prison scene perfectly. Oliver bracing for news that his wife was dead (and probably his son, too) was heartbreaking. And the way he just kinda lights up as soon as he sees her and then grows cautious because of William and the teary "I missed you" and "I love you so much" had me tearing up, too. She was hurting for him, after seeing his injuries, but girl was just done. She was going to fight back no matter what. And I love that that kinda kicked Oliver in the butt and he finally had enough, too. Him jabbing Brick by the throat and smashing that guy's face with the weights was satisfying, too. I thought I recognized Stanley!
  19. I wasn't too thrilled by that Lian Yu reveal with Future William and Roy. I'm kinda OK with the characters, but on their own? Not that big a fan. But hearing that there could be an actual Olicity baby and it's a daughter with issues? LOL, suddenly I'm a bit more intrigued by the flashforwards.
  20. Came across an old article about last year’s crossover and the writer mentions that superhero stories are soap opera in tights. And i remember Berlanti or Kreisberg essentially saying the same thing. Anyone remember their quote? I tried Googling for it and got nada.
  21. Was walking in midtown Manhattan, and I saw ads for Supergirl. No Flash, Arrow or BL. Not too surprised by lack of Arrow but kinda surprised about lack of BL, honestly. Also, I keep seeing people ask about when Arrow is coming back.
  22. Oh, I think I misread @lemotomato‘s post. Anyway, it won’t be far-fetched to see the crossover open with Oliver even though it’s on The Flash.
  23. Not necessarily. Didn’t the Crisis crossover open with The Flash characters even though it was on Supergirl?
  24. The suit is fine I think but I agree with @Chaser abou the pose making the whole thing look off. She’s posed like a pageant contestant showing off her cape or something. Something with more attitude is warranted for this kind of look, IMO. and i’m Glad they got Atwood again. If only GA, could get a new suit from her instead of the one who seems obsssed with buckles.
