I do remember those but I can't picture exactly what they were. It's been fun reading about your remembrances of the '80s at that age. I can't remember things the same way since I was 30 in 1985.

Well, that was a surprise. Maybe I'll reconsider my decision to drop this show but I just don't think I have the patience for it.

This topic sounds fun since I am a gadget addict and I have to forbid myself to buy them anymore since I have a "few" tucked away in the cabinets. Things like a Sandwich Griller that makes 4 little sandwiches (remember those?), a Quesadilla maker, a bread maker and probably more that I can't think of. The most recent gadget is a mandolin that my MIL gave me money to buy because I was slicing potatoes for an au gratin one day she was here. Unfortunately, the first time I used it I cut a finger and then remembered why I didn't have one.

I just found this Food Topic Listing and thought I'd pop in. It's early in South Florida so I haven't eaten anything yet today and I'm trying to decide what to take out of the freezer for dinner. Although, I have put a turkey breast carcass on the stove to boil for a stew later in the week.

I just saw this and had to pipe in. Looking at the list above, there are only 8 things I won't eat: any seafood, liver, or snails. There are some things I don't care for but I would eat like tofu, eggplant, and raisins.

Well, I have to say I'm disappointed, but I'm not buying Hulu or any other subscription service besides Netflix. I pay a lot for Comcast/Xfinity with internet and landline phone so it's going to be a while before I give that up to go rogue, so to speak.

I don't see it that way because this is sci-fi/fantasy and people come back all the time. Dallas was a totally different genre. I watched that show and was disappointed when it was canceled, though I can't remember its name.

Stop, I like The Outpost. I might give it a couple more episodes. The "pretty young people" haven't annoyed me too much yet. And I did like Ezekiel Jones. We'll see. Yeah, I wasn't sure what that was all about. I hope they explain that.

OK, I admit there were some things in the trailer that looked interesting but not enough to watch the show again. I'll continue to read these threads because you guys' take on the show is more interesting than the show. Plus there will be plenty of clips to watch.

I just started watching Deadwood a few weeks ago (I'm in the middle of season 2). And I keep wanting to like Bullock because Joel is so likable.

I remember when I watched Fringe and they had so many timelines and alternate universes that I tried to draw a chart to figure it out. I'm trying not to get quite as involved with this show ... but it's pulling me in.

I, too, wish they would find a real storyline for Tracy that includes a love interest. But not Dr. Nevil since he had been involved with Ashley. But you know who just came into mind is Papa Rosales ...
