  1. I so agree, I've not liked Sassy from the jump. This episode she made a comment that Ted's ex-marriage counselor dating Ted's ex-wife is "unethical"...moments after she said if she couldn't find Ted she was going to climb "Mount Zava", referring to a married Zava. Yes, Sassy, please regale us with what is and isn't ethical. Of course, it could also be that I just don't like her...
  2. My dear friend taught me that when you hear someone use a word correctly, but pronounce it incorrectly, you're often discovering a reader...someone who knows the usage of the word, but hasn't heard it said out loud. I love reading and people who read for pleasure, so this has always softened my heart when I hear someone mispronounce words. Back to the show, I'm so grateful this is back to how it felt prior to last season; it's a joy again.
  3. I found that believable because they made the point that Zava is coming to the Premiere League for the first time (because his wife loved The Office 🤣) and I find it completely believable that Ted doesn't know players outside of the league in which he's coaching. After all, he just called it "football" for the first time. 😄
  4. Ugh, paywall. We are considering this and I would have loved to read the article *shaking my fist at the NYT*
  5. I think my perfect job would be to be a "Continuity Expert" on films and TV shows. Even in the best scenes (which this was not) I am incapable of focusing if continuity is off. Phoebe's headband was on her forehead in the straight on shots and up where it belongs in the side angles. It was driving me nuts and my darling husband KNEW it...he sat beside me giggling as I sighed/cringed at each and every flip of the camera angle. That was eye twitchingly bad. 😖
  6. Congratulations, you just did more research than any person who has ever been on this show!
  7. That argument between Clint and Gina....whoooo boy. I think arguments are a very good indicator of compatibility; healthy, respectful arguments/discussions are a necessary part of a partnership, IMO. But when either one of you is unkind or "messy" when you argue, I don't think it can work long-term. Neither Clint nor Gina came out of that looking kind or respectful...like so many of you, I say their "experiment" is DOA.
  8. Between the lawsuit in which Juan is named and Robyn's most boring season yet (and that's really saying something), I see many rea$on$ why they decided it was time to remarry...and "love" isn't one of them. I sincerely hope she's gone next season. She's boring as hell. Grow some self-esteem and get back with us later.
  9. Well, he was seated at a table with some people, so we stalked him much longer than I care to confess, because we didn’t want to interrupt him. When he finally got up to leave, we approached and asked for a photo, which he obliged. We may have just come from several drinks at a pub, so I pleaded with my husband to BE COOL and not say anything weird, like “we love you”…then of course I proceeded to say “we just love you” at least three times 🤣 It was surreal to see him..we couldn’t believe our eyes; but then he laughed and we KNEW it was him 😁
  10. So we’re in London on vacation and guess who we ran into last night?! No one else we know will get how fun this was for us, so I had to share it here! 🇬🇧
  11. What a mess. Half-way through the second episode my husband wondered aloud how many episodes there were and I clarified that no matter how many were released, there would be only two episodes that this girl would be watching. Oy. The same footage over and over and over (and over); the dramatic lead-up to the son's struggles, only to then gloss over them and never really delve into why he did what he did; a full-on interview with a chicken mascot. I wasted perfectly good Sunday couch time on this shit show. Please learn from me...don't let this happen to you.
  12. Bread week is always my favorite; I grabbed a blanket and a cup of tea and curled up on the couch ready to be entertained. What a huge letdown. This was the worst "bread" week they've ever had, IMO. The pizzas were ALL soggy and disgusting; I cringed every time Paul or Pru picked up a piece. The PASTRY technical challenge was....ummmm....not bread. And the showstoppers were the most disgusting thing I've seen made on this show. And, yes, the showstopper at least contained bread (unlike the technical), but the bread wasn't the focus of their judging, they focused on the filling! I demand a do-over. What a crock. BTW, I wouldn't be at all upset if they repeated challenges from before. This show has been on for YEARS, I understand the ideas have been used up. I'd rather see new bakers attempt a previously used challenge than this week's shitshow.
  13. YES HE DOES. George needs to get off this show and get into therapy. I thought I'd dislike her, because beauty queens are not my jam, but George is just way too much; I feel sorry for her. BTW, love "the ick"...I think we learned that on Love Island and it's fun to see someone else use it!
  14. Oh yay...me, too! I need someone to help me understand Gemma and Matt: they seemed so good together at first and then she could NOT get out of her own way and now he seems like a jerk. I've never done such a complete 180 on a couple so quickly; it was wild! I have whiplash.
  15. I'm currently watching the new season of this, using a VPN. I still think the UK version is *so* much better than the US version. If anyone is watching, let me know!
  16. I just finished Part Two and came here to see what y'all were saying about it. I found Part Two very, very difficult to watch. I work for PBS and we're encouraged to watch our content, so we can watch things while we work. I wish I hadn't watched Part Two here at my desk...it was too disturbing; I should have watched that at home. I caught myself at least twice gasping out loud. I'm certain all my coworkers know what I have on in my office. I'm not big on saying anything should be "required for all" but DAMN, I think all Americans should see this.
  17. We watched all four episodes yesterday; I thought it was terrific! I struggled with the way they chose to end it (trying to refrain from spoilers but, IYKYK), but my partner thought it was a great way to end.
  18. First wife for the money...second wife for the honey. Wife #2 will be young, beautiful, fertile, and fun. Yeah, Kim will be totally fine with that, I see no troubles ahead. 😵
  19. We binged all of the available episodes for this yesterday. It really did feel like the old days of 90 Day...we loved it. Richard is an absolute Neanderthal PIG and I enjoy hate watching him. UK Shaun seems like he might have a low IQ or at the very least low emotional IQ; Christine seems to have really committed to being with him now in the UK and she certainly has made a tremendous difference in his home...I think she'll forgive his debt and they can make a go of this. That dinner scene where she cried over him putting her first, when he had so little (even less than she knows), seemed sincere to me. Kadie and Alejandro seem like nice enough people, but I don't see how a compromise can be reached when neither wants to move. Victoria...wow. I don't know what has happened in her past, but her complete lack of self-esteem is the only thing keeping her in this mess. Walk away from that lying liar who lies (TV Vicki Gunvelson). Bridie is SELLING HER HOUSE to pay for this man? That's a hard NO for me.
  20. I'd guess she made a lot more from Daddy's estate than she makes from her baking videos.
  21. I absolutely agree. He was living with his dad, under their own names, in the state she knew they would be in...and...she...couldn't...find...him? I was gobsmacked she left her kid in that situation. I think her own demons and a serious lack of resources was also at play but, damn. That was heartbreaking. I'm grateful he has been given a chance to transform his life. Did they say what kind of treatment/education/services he will receive going forward? If they did, I missed it.
