When Endeavour came to town in Season 1, he only had two pieces of luggage (the rest of the baggage was in his head).

Why is Leon still using the mariahbrwn IG handle?

So as to distinguish between her female child and her first 'baby', a Toyota Avalon

I loved Inspector Morse when it first came out, probably because I loved John Thaw's acting and he reminded me a lot of my mentor. Having lived through those times, sexism was the norm. At first Endeavour seemed incongruous, but it grew on me quickly and I went back and watched all of the Inspector Morse episodes to help me deal with withdrawal in between seasons of Endeavour. There are so many little tid-bits of information to catch that I cannot do anything else while watching these shows.

Looking at Google Maps satellite view it appears that the "playground" and the property south of it have drainage ditches next to 63rd Ave. I wonder how often Richland Creek overflows and if the cheap house ever flooded

Battle On The Beach - General Discussion

I don't like the whiny blonde wife. Why didn't she just wallpaper the room herself if she is so smart and skilled? Or did she make hubby do it so she could blame him? -

Are those their magic underwear garments under there that the sun is illuminating? Especially if you pig out on a lot of carbs & salt before the challenge and then drop the water. -

And if you didn't earn it, you are lazy and have only yourself to blame, of course. -

One or two of the ingredients in Plexus are diuretics, so she peed out 12 cups of water (one quart a day), not fat. And bioimpedence scales are notoriously inaccurate. -
And the ham quotient seems to increase to over half the show after a couple of seasons so I watch the opening to see the property initially and FFwd to the reveal. The ham and hijinks are bad enough on FF with no sound; I don't know how anyone can watch in real time!

Yes it was just her family's stuff and it didn't seem organized - remember when she was rooting around in one of the trucks for someone's pillow and new favourite toy? Next time they should look into renting one of those "Pods" that you can choose to load over a few days or weeks, but only use a vehicle to transport them to the next site, so there is not the huge rental cost of parking two trucks on the Plague Prairie for over a month. Also, if you plan in advance you can get better deals on moving costs. Meri had ~50 labelled bins of Christmas ornaments and other stuff. You'd think after the 31st move she'd get tired of hauling them around. My last move I downsized by 50% and it was very freeing. -
Vacation House Rules - General Discussion

They're hard to climb up to, but how do you get down the nearly vertical ladders - lie on your stomach on the floor and slide your feet & legs over the edge until you can feel around and find one of the rungs with your feet? Better hope you don't need to relieve yourself in the middle of the night. That one ladder that went through a 12"x 24" slot in the loft floor was odd. It may have kept the ladder from falling down, but how do you climb over the lip since only very tiny children could fit through the slot. Both ladders should be taller so you have something to hold on to when you step onto or off the ladder onto the loft floor. -
I thought I was looking at the album cover of Little Feat's "Down on the Farm"

A couple of weeks ago one of the clips showed early Baba Wawa and I remember thinking - why don't we see one every time they show clips since they must have more clips of Barbara than of any other host? There would be no The View without Barbara.
-
I didn't know his name when I saw 'that guy' on Airwolf back in the day, but it was easy to recognize that it was the same Brian in the clip.

I also use a spiralizer to make "spaghetti" noodles out of zucchini and use green cabbage sliced in various widths to make "fetticini" and "lasagna" noodles -

That is exactly what it was like. Meri was up at the crack of dawn with her clipboard and sensible shoes. Meanwhile Mother of the Bride Janelle went fishing and shambled over to the wedding as if she was some guest's plus one. -
Battle On The Beach - General Discussion

They deserved to win the main bed/bath challenge since the others made design flaws that would be very expensive to correct. And now their "mentor" is saying mean things about their choices on national TV. So I don't blame them for being discouraged. -
Indeed. Even if they had never used a Realtor, they should have noticed that when houses near them were selling, that the Realtors & potential buyers & sellers were there at all hours. And successful Realtors don't sit on the couch playing with their phone while telling potential buyers to look around by themselves (I'm looking at you, Janelle).

Vacation House Rules - General Discussion
deirdra replied to FormerMod-a1's topic in Vacation House Rules
In cottages the key requirement is for the bedrooms to have egress windows (a realtor might list the closet-less rooms as "lofts" rather than bedrooms). Certainly Debra could find some cute deer antler or branch-like wall hooks to hang up a few clothes or wet bathing suits. There is not even any space to put your suitcase/bag/stuff other than a 1-sq ft nightstand. When I travel I don't like putting things in drawers because I don't want to risk leaving anything behind. If there is not space in the room for a suitcase/bag I usually put it on the floor of the closet and hang up a few things. I don't mind not having a closet as long as there are hooks and space to organize my stuff. Do they expect people to just put everything on the bed when they are not sleeping in it? -
No doubt. Meri would take good care of him.

Two are large - Koda the Lab cross and the new one Kenai is a husky cross. Mosby is small, but getting older, which comes with more vet bills.
