  1. I caught part of an episode of Seeking Sisterwife and a disgruntled 15 yr old daughter astutely asked wife #2 why she didn't just find ... a friend? Rather than try to make friends with unfriendly women her husband wants to have sex with.
  2. That's it and Savannah turns 18 in December.
  3. For 5+ years I've been hoping to see one of his kids take the clippers to his mop while he's napping
  4. How many times has Sarah had Covid?
  5. I can already see Lauren's face when she hears Gaspy on the podcast - "you feigned mental exhaustion and nearly ruined my business to take a pod job instead???"
  6. Robyn is probably exasperated from having Kootie underfoot throughout Covid. She wanted him all to herself, often calling/interrupting him when he was making rare visits to his other wives and kids. Then she got him all to herself and seemed frazzled & bitter during the last season.
  7. I think it was ~2000-2005 when green coffee bean extract, Garcinia Cambogia and other things in Plexus were first introduced in pill form as a "diet aid". Wait long enough so that people will forget it didn't work, grind it up, add some food colouring and put it in a clear dildo and abracadabra you can fool more people.
  8. I remember when Nikki was first doing "research" to become a businesswoman. She was "working" on a laptop on her coffee table (not good for bad backs). It was not plugged in nor did it have an ethernet cable, but she was pretending to send & receive messages on it - before WiFi was even available! How long before Michael starts wearing bolo ties?
  9. And they are making every business a family business, sort of like when Y&R started. But my advice would be to not put so many eggs in the same basket.
  10. At my brother's wedding, since my mother and I are allergic to most flowers, I suggested fake corsages, but my SIL gave us all scentless real orchids, even my non-allergic sisters.
  11. I suspect the same. Audrey on IG started their trans announcement with simple, pleasant and educational posts about how the pronouns work, etc., assuming that people want to address Audrey and other trans people the way they want to be addressed. Leo assumes the worst of people and informs them how they will be cut off if Leo's rules are not followed exactly. But Meri did teach Leo how to build walls, not how to break them down for people.
  12. BC=birth certificate & SS=Social Security card, neither of which have photos. SS card is needed for anything financial (including enrolling in higher education). BC is needed to apply for a passport (plus someone who knows you vouching for your identity matching your photo) & Driver's License. Once you have a DL or passport, those are used as ID in the US, but neither is required if you don't drive or leave the country.
  13. With the extra doctor visits, vitamins, healthier food & additional wardrobe big enough for two, it makes sense. Gestating a baby ain't cheap, and you wouldn't have these costs if you weren't pregnant.
  14. I have legs like hers and learned long ago that 2" longer dresses, skirts & shorts make me look thin instead of fat.
  15. and that strangling hazard in one of the kids' rooms
  16. I've seen university students who enroll with the name they prefer, and one had a typo in their last name on the class list so I suggested they get it corrected before they graduate. They didn't think it was a biggie, but in a few years it could be a big problem proving that this credential belongs to them.
  17. If they are anything like people in Eastern Pennsylvania where my cousins live, the answer would be NO.
  18. In this day and age with identity fraud, it is probably a good idea to legally change your name on everything and make sure that your dead name is truly dead so nobody can rack up charges on it that you later become liable for. Even birth certificates can be re-issued in a different name.
  19. I don't understand the attraction of having a "celebrity" tell Mom how much her hubby & kids love her & why. Wouldn't it be more heartfelt if it came directly from the hubby & kids?
  20. Me neither. The two things together point to the possibility of FATCO syndrome, which sometimes involves cardiac and/or respiratory problems. That ambulance ride probably wiped out any savings of having a non-hospital birth, though TLC got to film it all for more drama and more $$$ for the Browns.
  21. Canadian passports and many provincial DLs have the choice of M, F or X for gender. In the US, do the health insurance laws only apply to those with "Obamacare", Medicaid & Medicare? I seem to recall that private insurance, particularly for some religious organizations, could exclude things like birth control. I recall an article where some insurance plans covered Viagra but not BC pills.
  22. Sharon Case turned 51 in February. I've seen Monday's US show and Sharon is back to her nasal non-whispery voice, which was a bit jarring in comparison. I think that whispery & slow mode was Sharon trying to convey that she was calm and OK after Rey's death.
  23. I thought so, since I'm a scientist, with published non-fiction books and articles, who has never referred to myself as a "writer". Apparently only people who make things up think of themselves as "writers". Has writer Leo started using capital letters or still emulating e. e. cummings?
  24. Which one, the fiction writer?
  25. The fact that all three were for sale together probably explains the catwalks between cottages if they were originally owned by one extended family.
