  1. I think Viola is doing a great job as Michelle. The "mouth thing" may be annoying, but it's true to character. I've never observed much chemistry between the Obamas, so it makes sense that the actors don't have chemistry either. Michelle Pfeiffer is doing an amazing job as Betty Ford.
  2. The Betty Ford scenes are all that interested me. Too bad they couldn't separate it into different shows that focus exclusively on an individual rather than go back and forth between all three women within an episode.
  3. Seems like Red would have his own guys watching the trailer. Since he kept saying Weetcha should be careful, I figured she’d keel over at any moment.
  4. The scene with Murray was ridiculous. Adam has time to leave a Madonna concert in downtown Philly to go home and seek Barry's advice and then return in time for the concert? Love Madonna's music from the 80s ❤️
  5. My favorite part was Beverly and Glasscott listening through the vent. I think he makes a good substitute for Murray. However, I don't really care to dig deep into Jeff and Erica's marriage. I also don't care about Adam and Brea, so I wasn't interested in Brea's loser sister. No need to add new characters to the mix.
  6. Love this, but wish they would have shared details about the pink sherpa cardigan/jacket she wore in the first episodes.
  7. I cringe most of the time they have Carter speak. I wish Randi would find someone else.
  8. Yeah, plus she didn’t say, but there’s the fact that Randy basically runs the place every time Kat goes on another whim.
  9. When Aram was getting the IV, I said, “Please don’t make this show all about Aram’s dreams.” 😩
  10. If he really wanted to kill himself, he would have found a way regardless of interventions. Given his background, it’s not surprising to me that he felt depressed. I think it would be difficult to put this story into a miniseries since the “relationship” was mostly text messages. I believe I read that they only saw each other five times in a two-year span. I think it would have been interesting for the writers to have included more about his time when he wasn’t texting her.
  11. I’m not suggesting that Michelle shouldn’t have called anyone. (I previously wrote that I thought what she said/did was wrong.) I’m saying she’s not 100% responsible for his death. I think the court agrees since she didn’t have a stronger sentence. The guy was messed up long before she met him. She was messed up too. I hope she gets the help she needs. I hope the parents recognize their mistakes as they move forward and impact other lives.
  12. Sure, she could have called someone that night, but there’s no sign that he wouldn’t have made another attempt. He’d tried in the past and would have likely made future attempts. He was messed up. I feel he was responsible for his actions. Not sure anyone could have helped him.
  13. Sad situations all around, but outcome appears inevitable. Sad he apparently listened to someone he barely knew. He was unstable when he met her and vice versa. The parents on both sides would make interesting case studies themselves. I can’t imagine why her parents went along with that baseball fundraiser as it was organized or why his didn’t insist that it take place in his hometown. After seeing the dirt bag musical, I feel as though I’ve invested too much time on this show. I was hoping for more of a format like “The Thing About Pam” or something linear rather than fantasy and so much jumping around in time.
  14. The more I watched, the more I felt his suicide was bound to happen. What she said/did was wrong, but this guy was pretty messed up. I’m surprised they didn’t meet more in person since they didn’t live that far apart, and he had transportation.
  15. I feel like this show has been going downhill. The Flatch part was just dumb, although I understand her need for extra income. It makes sense they added Louisville’s own Laura Bell Bundy to the cast, but I’m not crazy about the character. The writers need to have a serious meeting about where to go from here. I don’t think they know.
  16. Given all the time they spend doing anything but studying, I think it would have been more appropriate to have both Erica and Barry fail exams. Do they really expect us to believe Barry scored so well on MCAT that he has his pick of med schools? Whatever.
  17. I’m not thrilled to see Kate Hudson in season 2. 😕 Episode 1 didn’t draw me in like last season.
  18. I don’t care for Eddie at all. Not one bit. Never have. I keep waiting for her to be killed in the line of duty. They wrote out Danny’s wife and can do the same for Jamie. She’s so clueless if she really thinks Jamie’s the reason she doesn’t have friends. I was waiting for someone to tell the guy who was recently released from prison that he has parental rights since he didn’t agree to the adoption. She may have had custody, but I’d think a court would hear his case. Sad that he’s losing father and son. I figure Frank has connections to help the marine get a job outside of NYPD. After the publicity, the marine doesn’t need any help. The guy is probably a loose cannon, though. Only a matter of time for something bad to happen. We may get an update in a future show that he took out an innocent person or the bad guy triumphs in a future conflict. Although he’s a veteran and hero, I didn’t get a good vibe from him. Hmmm…the guy who senses others are bad gave off bad vibes himself. Good move, Frank.
  19. From the beginning, I’ve felt the twins or their mom were guilty of murder. This episode continues to make me think that. Josie was stupid to introduce her guy to her family. How could she not see that coming?
  20. I just started watching the series this week. I understand why Josie went away from her family to start a new life, but I don't understand why she stays in town now that the aunt's service is over. How could she be so stupid to have her phone out like that for her sister to take? Run, Josie, run! I still think the wrong person was framed for murder.
  21. I keep thinking Marvin knows more than he’s letting on.
  22. I like that this episode developed the other characters instead of focusing on Kat. I do like Kat, but this is a strong cast, so it’s good to see the others shine.
  23. I’m with you, but I’ll add Jacob jumping rope at the beginning as another favorite moment. 😂 I’m glad to know Ava’s been put on notice. She may actually turn things around and demonstrate competence in the position after all. I’m sort of surprised by Gregory’s reaction to the news about Ava’s hiring. I would’ve thought he’d have had more to say to the superintendent.
