  1. Could Erin be falling for Anthony? I thought I sensed some jealousy. Danny's son gulping wine at the table just wasn't that funny to me. I think it's about time to find him a job or send him off to college. Maybe he could be the next Reagan in uniform. I wish they'd give more time to Danny and Baez and less time to Eddie. Has anyone watched all the facial expressions she displays in an episode? Whether someone's talking to her or not, there are so many reactions--some over the top. Although not my favorite storyline, I enjoyed seeing some emphasis on Grandpa this week.
  2. I thought that was an odd line too. Besides Baez, there are some gang members who know.
  3. I kept waiting for George to run to Brenda Sparks for consolation or for the boosters to get behind giving the job to the more sensitive and politically correct assistant coach. I love the focus on Sheldon’s college life, but honestly don’t feel a need to focus on Missy when her plot line doesn’t include Sheldon.
  4. That would have been funny, but I imagine Cooper insisted on pre-approving the reading selections. Cooper probably had the room wired or he was pacing the hall to make sure Red didn't stray from the script. 😂
  5. Sad so many here feel that way about reading 😕 Go into a middle school or high school classroom around here, and you’ll find teens being read to—even in honors classes. Adults must model and foster a love of reading. Conversations about what is read need to happen. I celebrate Red and Dembe for recognizing the importance of literacy and understanding the positive impact of shared reading and read aloud.
  6. Read aloud is considered an effective teaching strategy for middle school students. Studies show that students who are engaged in reading activities at home (with adult role models) outperform their peers on standardized reading tests. I congratulate Red for caring about Agnes’s education to the extent that he’s personally involved. To all of you criticizing Red, if you have a middle school student in your life, I encourage you to try to read aloud of a classic with that young person. It’s a great way to bond and you may be surprised by how the experience builds confidence, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills, as well as a love for literature. Do you think most of today’s middle school students are going to pick up a classic on their own to read independently? They need that modeling and encouragement.
  7. Awwww, next episode is February 25.
  8. Early on, when the rape case wasn't going to be pursued, I had a glimmer of hope that this episode would limit Erin's involvement this week. Then when she and Eddie were arguing after the victim left, I was cheering them on and hoping that it would turn physical. Girl fight! What a missed opportunity. The writers clearly have no idea what to do with Joe. More Danny & Baez, please.
  9. This was a good episode. I kept waiting for Sheldon to ask if he could go with the guy he debated on the bus. Since he's an adult, and Mary likes to indulge Sheldon and she was busy with Mary Kay, I figured she'd consent. Too bad he didn't know his former teacher would be going. George and Mary would have no problem with him chaperoning Sheldon, but Sheldon would've had a hard time convincing him to let him tag along. I prefer the focus to be on Sheldon, although I realize the other characters need to be developed as Sheldon reflects on these moments with an adult perspective.
  10. Story-wise, I thought it was strange that Murray's friends were so involved in the ice skating plot. I like the characters and understand things are going on behind the scenes, but thought it was odd how they stepped in a few scenes without Murray. I've never cared for the Adam and Brie relationship, so hopefully that's over. I like Barry and Joanne, but those two have way too much free time for law and med students. I'm tired of the Erica relationship/engagement plot. I guess I don't understand what he sees in her.
  11. Bev's always been pushy and obnoxious when it comes to her little shmoopy. Surprised she didn't expect him to have a role in the musical in addition to directing. I loved the Fame references. Great soundtrack. However, I'm tired of Erica. Clearly, she's not a part of real Adam's childhood. No wonder they don't have much for her in terms of plot. It was nice to have a break from Brie too. It looks like no one is being filmed with Murray in the same session. Funny how they danced around his empty chair at the dinner table.
  12. This latest episode was a big miss except for the JTP. I like the actor/character playing Murray's partner, but could've done without that unbelievable storyline. If he's no longer married, he could be a new partner for Beverly once they write out Murray, I suppose. Please let Erica get married already. This long engagement with frequent comments about the upcoming wedding vows, dress, etc., is beyond stale. The actress even looks tired of talking about it.
  13. I was so disappointed to learn that Ressler bought the carnations for Liz's grave instead of for the woman whose son liked Peter Pan. 😐 My only thought when the show ended is I hope they don't have a similar episode to fill us in on what Agent Park did during that time period. I was sort of surprised Ressler called the police after the husband died. I thought maybe he'd call one of Reddington's cleaners to do the job.
  14. Surprised by Kreese's last coaching tip, his moment of sympathy. Terry Silver was in true form. I wondered why they brought back that loser Stingray. Danny's son will probably get into the training next season. Will Sam retire? I so want things to go well between Robbie and Johnny. ❤ And Johnny and Miguel. And Johnny and Danny.
  15. I like Carrie Underwood, but felt her performance slowed the momentum of the tournament. I guess that's what was intended. Robbie's scary. Will he ever reunite with his dad? Hawk vs Miguel was a good match up at this point in the series. Did not expect that outcome. 😮
  16. Wow, that Pac Man prom tux 😅
  17. I can't believe Miguel helped with some of those recruiting efforts, but look forward to seeing how the new recruit pans out. The more I see of Sam LaRusso, the more she comes across as a spoiled brat. I realize she has reasons not to like Tori, but she goes out of her way to cause trouble.
  18. Hashbrown dead meat 🤣 Good flashbacks in this episode
  19. I agree with Johnny about poking the bear. Not a good move. This episode makes me like Sam less than I already did. I'm not crazy about the new Cobra Kai sensai.
  20. Catch the Koi winner gets to pick the Gatorade flavor-- doesn't take much to impress them. If we miss the mattresses? Try not to. Those writers are doing a great job with Johnny.
  21. No Be There 😂. Love watching Danny and Johnny bond. Mrs. LaRusso may have just made things much worse for her daughter. Not exactly into young LaRusso scenes. What a little punk.
  22. Been waiting for this season ...will probably watch it all today. "Eagle Fang" - what a perfect name - love the logo 😂 Wax on, wax off vs Johnny's way of having them clean the car 😅 Love how Johnny gets his recipes 😂 Funny how the actors playing the kids are in their 20s. Sam Larusso is 25. Training together separately at opposite ends of the dojo 😂 Love Johnny ❤ Yes, love how he evoked Rocky 3. Why can't LaRusso be Apollo? 😂
  23. I haven’t noticed that Murray looks edited in this season, but I felt he looks tired and unhealthy. If there is another season, I think they could get away with doing what they’ve mostly been doing—just don’t even mention him when he’s not on camera. Saying he had a sudden heart attack would also be believable. I keep waiting for them to try the American Housewife storyline where they gave the female lead a whole new set of friends. Beverly is so mean to her “friends.” Erica is such a loser/complainer. Jeff needs to run away while has the chance. Same for Bree.
  24. In recent years, Murray has come across as a slob and slacker. At least in the beginning he had the store. He plays such a small role that I could see them easily writing him out. Won’t miss the “Where’s my pants?” scenes. Surprised me to see the show renewed for its current season because I figured last season would be the last. It’s like they don’t know what to do with these characters…like some have said, too many recycled storylines. Not sure what’s been going on behind the scenes, but the only couple that seems to be a good fit is maybe the Schwartzes.
  25. Another down vote on the new detective assigned to 1PP plot. Hopefully, we've seen the last of her. Glad there was very little focus on Eddie.
