  1. Not sure where to post this since it's not specifically about Season 3, episode 1. I guess I'll post here since we can't start new threads. In the past, I streamed the episodes through the basic Hulu or NBC app the day after. Now I see this season is not available. Is it no longer possible to stream the current Law & Order shows (OC and SVU) for free? Looks like I have to have a paid Peacock subscription or Hulu Live now.
  2. I see your point, but to me, that’s just who she’s been…getting fed up with his karate obsession, then reuniting and standing by her man. Very predictable.
  3. It figures the protect the egg strategy would be needed in the end. After all these years, Johnny is still badass. My favorite parts were toward the end when he said, "I did most of this," and at the beginning when he hit the bullseye on Daniel's forehead with the beer can. That's so Johnny being Johnny. And the beer can imprint on Daniel's forehead. 🤣 I'm disappointed he didn't ask Carmen to marry him. We're already ready for Season 6. If there is another season, and I hope there is, they have to let those "kids" grow up a bit.
  4. I kept waiting for them to use their cell phones to call for help, but I guess they were too wasted to react quickly. Nice to see the younger ones getting along--it's about time. I wonder if the actress playing Mrs. LaRusso is disappointed with the lack of character development this season. She looks great, but seems like it would be a letdown for her to be reduced to eye candy.
  5. I streamed the episode last night and felt disappointed. I'd rather see Saul dead or still on the run than how he ended up.
  6. I was disappointed in the episode. Never would have guessed that it would have gone this way. Not sure what I was expecting, but this seemed rather underwhelming.
  7. I wondered if she makes a connection to Gene's/Saul's work with the Sandpiper community. I wouldn't be surprised if she had some friend or relative(s) at Sandpiper.
  8. This "Nippy" episode had me craving Cinnabons. We don't have one nearby, so I looked online and learned they can be purchased frozen at Walmart. If any of you are thinking of doing the same, be advised that they taste like cinnamon sprinkled cardboard with sweet frosting on top. If you purchase, please don't assume you'll get the same experience as Frank. I may try to salvage the frosting, but the rest of my box is going in the garbage.
  9. I thought this was interesting: an interview with the actor who plays Frank, the security chief, about meeting Carol Burnett and the "Nippy" episode: https://nypost.com/2022/07/27/jim-oheir-talks-better-call-saul-role-carol-burnett-and-cinnabons/
  10. My favorite part was the way Don Eladio imitated the bell. Like a Shakespearean tragedy, the writers added some comic relief in the midst of death and intensity. I was expecting Kim to jump when she was on the roof. After some of the things she said/did, part of me wished she had.
  11. I liked both characters early on, but the more I see, the more I feel they are moving away from their initial roles which were interesting to me. I wish the writers would stick to the crimes and mysteries instead of focusing on personal lives.
  12. Episode 15.15 - It's a Wonderful Game It is getting stale having Dr. Ogden insert herself as the expert in so many different situations. I hope they are finished digging into Watts’s personal life.
  13. Of course, Kim and Jimmy wouldn’t be readily believed. Duh. However, these two people not employed by the firm have shown they have extensive contacts who can pose as just about anyone. They can hire people to make phone calls, send emails, etc., to create an elaborate ruse which is in line with what the writers have come up with so far.
  14. Kim and Jimmy could easily come up with a story to imply he didn't simply vanish. It would be plausible to say he's taking an extended vacation given the recent fiasco, and I doubt anyone would question that. Kim and Jimmy can be very convincing, as we've seen. Sending Howard on a "vacation" would be easy compared to what they've done recently.
  15. That’s assuming there’s a dead body. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s presumed Howard just went away for a while to get some R&R. It’s not like anyone, including his wife, would be surprised or would necessarily go looking for him.
  16. I found this episode difficult to watch. I didn't want to see Howard die, especially like that. I hope that when his body is found it is not considered a suicide. Depending on the timing of the body's discovery, it could come across like that, and I just want better for him.
  17. I know there are so many things that happen in this show that push plausibility boundaries, but one thing that gets me is how it’s presumed all bad guys on Marvin’s list will actually believe him. If I’m a black lister, who do I believe: the infamous Concierge of Crime or his underling who has an ax to grind? If I were Red, I’d spin it so they think Marvin was the one who ratted them out and that’s why he killed himself—because Raymond was onto his traitorous ways.
  18. Red is slipping as he ages. That was stupid giving Marvin a long leash. Somehow I don't think we've seen the end of Aram, but I hope Park fades off into the sunset.
  19. I believe it was his sister who was the first to suggest that thought process. I thought the part about him having something in a suitcase in the back of the truck was suspicious. Just driving the truck at that time was suspicious. The missing gun from the girlfriend's house was suspicious. Living a double life looks suspicious. Then there's the dagger. I think he comes across as guilty. Hard to believe his mom just gave him that truck, but that's what he told his friends.
  20. I feel Missy’s Vanilla Ice crush is true to character. She wants to be edgy and no doubt has some friends who are into Vanilla Ice. The Penn and Teller parts were so unnecessary and took away from the regular characters. I guess that shows that the writers have no idea where they’re going, so they had to fill the time some way. I didn’t care for Sheldon’s dream sequence. Again, it was evidence to demonstrate they have no idea where to go from here other than what’s already been revealed on TBBT.
  21. I still can't believe there will be another season. I wish they would write out all the lines about Agnes and Liz.
  22. The graduation scenes with Murray were so horribly done. They zoom out and he's not in the crowd near the family. They zoom in and he's there. They zoom out again and he's not there. His stand-in must not have been available for very long that day. I understand time is limited, and Beverly made a comment, but I didn't like Erica's timing--sharing her baby news during the moment we've been waiting for the past few years (Adam FINALLY graduated), although it was the sort of thing to expect from a Goldberg. Beverly probably went straight home to bedazzle some baby blankets, bibs, etc. She will spoil that little schmoopy rotten.
  23. I checked the credits. Her name is Laura Kightlinger. Wikipedia says she was a writer on Will & Grace and 2 Broke Girls among other things. Also known for dating Jack Black from 1996-2005. Seems she was on Saturday Night Live (94-95) at the same time as Tim Meadows (1991-2000) - aka Mr. Glascott.
  24. Whenever Erica does her puke face, I feel like I'm the one who's going to be sick. Love the references to Cyndi Lauper, but find the "Erica pursuing a music career" plot rather stale.
