I agree about having no one to root for. From what I recall, they have softened the character of Kathleen Wiley compared to real life. Anybody else notice that? I’m finding some interesting fact check articles online, but none have really mentioned Kathleen.

I wonder if this series will include any of Monica’s perspective about her relationship with another married man, her high school drama teacher, Andy Bleiler. I remember the headlines back then and noticed another one this morning mentioning it. That allegedly began when she was 19 and before Clinton.

I think the actress playing Coulter is doing a great job. The Laura Ingrahm actress not so much. Surprised she didn’t have a giant cross necklace. Did she not wear those in the 90s like she has in recent years? The Major Dad story must have been disappointing for Linda. She dedicated her life to DC, yet kept getting the shaft. She comes across as a little OCD. I wouldn’t want my co-worker’s dirty trays, etc., in my workspace either. LOL at the letter Linda and Monica write Clinton. Wonder if that really happened and if the original was ever found?

Finally got my Sling On Demand to show me episode 1 after waiting all last weekend for it to load 🙄 I recently watched all of ACS Versace season 2, and I’m already liking this one better. Maybe it’s the topic. Maybe it’s the pacing. However, I’d prefer they go on chronological order. I recall seeing the headlines and names, but I never got deeply involved with the story or know much about the people. I never saw the SNL portrayals of Tripp. My husband thinks Linda is nuts, but I’m loving her character and the way Paulsen portrays her. Paulsen made me sympathetic toward Marcia Clark, and I’m feeling the same toward Linda at this point, although she did come across as an overbearing know it all in that little job interview. I agree with the comments about the casting of Hilary. Missed the mark on that one. Paula’s husband expecting a role on Designing Women was hilarious. No surprise they divorced.

I don’t mind Rollins and Carisi together, but I want them to have an adult relationship. Late at night and she’s looking for action instead of realizing she’s got two little ones at home. No need for longing looks and lipstick on the collar sessions while on the job. I’m disappointed with where they’ve taken Fin. He comes across as a racist at times and no need to listen to his politics.

I have no problems with cutting Garland and Kat. Never cared for either of those characters. I’m not excited about the new guy, Q. Is he going to be a regular? I feel like more should have been accomplished given this 2-hour season opener. When I was in grad school, I took a theatre class, and chapter one of the textbook said that conflict is the basis of drama, and writers should create characters to care about. There were so many people on the screen that I really didn’t care about. I should have cared about the 15 year-old and her family, but I didn’t like any of them. Whoever is in charge of casting has missed the mark. The Carisi/blondie relationship is already stale. Lipstick on the collar? 🙄

Those lines were so unnecessary and so disappointing.

When her life flashed before her, I realized I had forgotten about blonde Lizzie. I had to shield my eyes from that. We mourned Tom’s passing much more than Lizzie’s. When she asked if Red was the one holding the camera in that childhood photo, that gave me hope that Red is not Katerina. Part of me was waiting for Ressler to intervene and be the one Lizzie shot.

The more I hear Agnes call him Pinkie, the more I wish Townsend’s guy would have found her.

I’m clinging to the hope that Red is someone we haven’t been introduced to yet—anybody but Katerina. I’m not following why the Katerina imposter would agree to pretend to be a person who had a target on her back. I can just hear her now, “Sure, I’d be glad to have this assignment. Let me spend the rest of my life as a hunted animal while the real Katerina lives out a peaceful life in seclusion.”

It does appear they are teasing that story, but I’m not buying. If this is where they go, we’re not watching anymore. Would be a shame to be so invested in a show just to have it get twisted into something like this.

LOL we rushed around to get in front of the TV by 8:00 p.m. and realized it’s not on until 10:00 p.m. 😂

LOL 😂 I guess it could be said the show started going off the rails when they cast M. Boone for the role, but I read somewhere that she was actually the first one cast. Unbelievable.

It’s been discussed here in the past, so I won’t dwell, but I think the show started going off the rails when M. Boone became pregnant. Would love to know what they had planned before that happened. In retrospect, I wish they had given her baggy clothes and only filmed her from the waist up and not written the pregnancy into the show plot.

I think they’re going to set it up so that Raymond dies and Liz takes over. That will be the series finale. I’d prefer that Liz die now and we get next season with a focus on Red.

Red apparently didn’t check his phone messages, but did he not check his caller ID as well? Seems like he would have followed up on that phone number Lizzie entered. I imagine he’d locate Agnes and send guys to protect her and in the process learn the whereabouts of Townsend and that Liz is still in kahoots with him. Disappointed Townsend was so easily persuaded to give up on killing Liz. 😐

So, they went on a plane ride for several hours, and while Liz slept, Red didn’t have time to check his phone messages, and during that time no one got through to Dembe to warn him about Liz’s tracking device? 🙄 I’m with you. I wonder if that woman was really Liz’s mom.

Great line was when Red told Harold to tell Pannebaker he’d pay for the roof...”Or, I have a guy.” 🤣

Liz is crazy. She really thinks anybody else would have done the same if in her situation? 🙄 Aram’s Tale of Two Lizzies speech was ridiculous and waste of time. Love Edna ❤️

How many facial expressions does she use in one episode? Must be exhausting. What acting! 😂

Count me as another who missed Boyd and wished they never created the Jen character. It’s like they didn’t know what to do with Vanessa—a smart woman or silly drunk? I would have liked for the show to continue with just Outdoor Man scenes but no Kristen. Making her the next CEO may have made sense to them, but IMO she added nothing.

I think the “Red is Katerina”idea is absolutely ridiculous. No way.
