I just started streaming the show over the summer on Hulu and catching season 13 on various internet sites. Crabtree and Brackenreid are my favorite characters. Love watching the interaction between Henry and Ruthie. Murdoch wears so much make-up that it's distracting at times. Go easy on the eyeliner, please. It's like they can't figure out what to do with Julia. Is she a psychiatrist, a surgeon, a coroner? A strong or indecisive woman? I don't see what Murdoch sees in her. I looked up the actress's bio on Wikipedia and was surprised she was around 40. She seems so much older than that. Looking forward to season 14, but not sure where I'll be able to access it when it's released.

Agree. I was waiting for him to throw himself in front of the car to keep her from escaping.

Well, I was sitting here thinking that Liz must be N13 (or whatever the name of that agent is). I imagined she had some sort of microchip (the archive files) implanted under her skin when she was a baby. That's why Red always wants to keep tabs on her. I know that's out there, but for this show, I figured it's plausible.

I'm glad. There have been more than enough Covid episodes on TV these days.

I can't believe the next episode is January 22. Liz's mother is shot in front of her, but M Boone can't muster up one tear. Bad acting or is Liz truly the ice princess?

If they're going to keep using the masks, they need to watch some old episodes of the MASH surgery scenes. That cast showed how easy it is to talk while wearing a mask, but something tells me Olivia and the rest aren't wearing masks because it might interfere with hair and makeup.

Very disappointed with this episode. Hope it’s not an indicator of what’s to come. The mask scenes were silly and unrealistic. Everybody wears one except the SVU team and lawyers. They removed masks to get up in someone’s face to speak.

We just never seem to learn a lot about what's going on. I'm not interested in a relationship between Ressler and Liz, so I hope we've seen enough that. After Liz duped them, I was expecting Park to speak up, but I guess she sensed that's a no win situation since Aram, Ressler, and Cooper are all under Liz's spell.

The more they do close ups of Liz, the more I think she resembles Michael Jackson.

I’ve watched a lot of police dramas like Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, Blue Bloods, etc. None of those shows had a captain out on the streets actively investigating cases in practically every episode. I think Liv ought to follow that lead just like her predecessor did. She’s another character they don’t seem to know what to do with other than repeat the cycle of listen to detectives, watch through a window, do her own interviews, and talk about Noah. Repeat.

I don’t think they know what to do with Kat. In some episodes she’s like a naive rookie busting in on interviews and not knowing procedures while in others she’s like a superhero and ready for an undercover threesome without blinking an eye. Those inconsistencies make me not like that character and it bothers me that they’ve put Fin on the back burner for a character they don’t know what they’re going to do with. Rollins is looking haggard these days. Guess that’s appropriate with two little ones at home and a bad knee. I wouldn’t be surprised if they found her a rich husband to give her some stay at home mom time.

Count me as another that wanted to see Kim Rollins take a permanent exit. How does Rollins avoid a desk duty assignment with a knee the size of a grapefruit? Hadid’s character is unnecessary. Time to let Carisi work more independently. They need to do more with Fin. The cases this season aren’t as exciting as years past.

I haven't cared for Eddie since she first appeared on the show. Having her skip the Sunday dinners would be okay with me.

I loved seeing Barba again even if it was just a short time. I'm already very tired of Kat. I wish they'd find another detective. Seeing Liv mourn Tucker is too much. She dumped him. Still don't understand that relationship given how he treated her and Stabler early on. I'm not liking the captain as a hands-on detective episodes, but at least they aren't exploring her family issues.

I’m confused about what Katarina is trying to find out from Ilya. Surely, Red wasn’t fooled by the murder scene. I still can’t figure out what Red’s big secret was that was so big it got Tom and Mr. Kaplan killed. I don’t see how Harold and the gang can keep giving Lizzie a pass when she dupes them like she did tonight. Agent Park getting put out of the car was my favorite part, although I expected her to throw a little tantrum about it.

I read that "rassvet" is Russian and can be translated as "sunrise." Kind of symbolic way of saying Red's secret is no longer hidden and coming to light. Also wondered if it's the name of a town or community in Moscow where they once lived.

I wonder if Liz is Ilya's daughter instead of Reddington's daughter?

I don't think the suitcase was mentioned, but I think they showed some footage of it. 🤔

I liked the Blacklister this week. Nice change from recent ones, but thought the odds of her pulling off all that by herself were pretty slim. Like, how did she get that ice statue in her car and position it without breaking it? Those ice statues were a cool departure from the bloody mess. I foresee Red and Dembe patching things up. I was waiting for the guy to hit the podcaster with the meat mallet and end up back in jail.

I hope they don't bring Agnes back. Let her stay with her grandma who is surely already spoiling her rotten as Lizzie wants. I seem to be missing something. I can understand why Red doesn't want the world to know he's an imposter because it could affect his business and all, but what does it matter if Lizzie is in on the secret? I just don't see it as something to kill Tom and Dr. Kaplan over.
