My three favorite moments in this episode: 1. Kody proclaiming there is no "head wife." 2. Janelle saying she might be able to open her own farm-to-table restaurant. 3. Kody asserting there are no "slopes" on Prairie Plague Pass when all of them appeared to be going up and down slopes whilst walking the property. This truly is the show that just keeps on giving...just not in the way it's intended to. 😂 And watching the season preview....

Well, she could simply ask the French man what he thinks.... If he existed, that is.

Sarah Winchester was such a drunken hot mess, but I loved watching her on the show, particularly when she was walking around with a plateful of food stalking Vicki all over the bowling alley. Between these episodes and the RHBH episodes Bravo has been running, I've got a lot of DVR catching up to do this weekend. (ETA: And this season features Gretchen's Pussycat Dolls debacle, always a highlight for me as Mikey and crew realize that they've invited her to perform...but she can't sing 😂)

And as an animal lover, it touched my little black heart when Victor said they had sheltered the family dog in that small area with them during the hurricane. ❤️ And now we have Victor and Ellie apparently actively trying to have a baby as well. I rolled my eyes so hard I saw parts of my brain that I didn't even know existed. I'm convinced most (all?) of these couples on these shows have no common sense whatsoever. From what we're shown, Victor and Ellie can't even go without arguing for more than an hour. Bring a baby into that mess? OMFG...

My personal theory (for which I have zero proof and only suspicion) is that Ryan went on the show to promote his business by joining forces with Whitney. I think Whitney was all over Ryan like a stage 5 clinger, trying to turn it into a romantic endeavor and seriously undermining Ryan's plans for a business venture. I suspect Ryan talked his longtime friend Chase into appearing on the show to distract Whitney so Ryan could focus on growing the business partnership. I think Chase likely had a girlfriend all along, kept in the shadows, and he was doing his buddy Ryan a favor and getting a TLC paycheck for pretending to swoon over Whitney. Chase was saving up to buy that bar apparently and I'm pretty sure it seemed like easy money at the time. I do not believe for one hot second he and Whitney ever had any sexual contact. Hell, even at the family yurt where he and Whitney supposedly had a round of afternoon delight in the sweltering heat and humidity, neither of them had a single drop of sweat on them, not even on their foreheads or hair. So I think knowing it was all fake and just an acting gig, Ryan's real girlfriend may very well have gone along with it. I believe Chase's reason to bounce after the "engagement" would have been the whole long-distance/Whitney refuses to move story line which ultimately did become the excuse used. Anyway, that's my personal theory about what unfolded. I never thought Chase was the hot prize many did. I mean, he was definitely by far the best looking of Whitney's conquests we've seen on the show, but I thought he was pretty average. That being said, I don't think there's a chance in hell that a guy into fitness and health would have been attracted to the braying, slovenly, sloth-like beast known as Whitney. I think the entire "relationship" was a set up, not by TLC/Sharp but by Ryan and Chase themselves.

The religious guy and the girl from South Africa were Danny and Amy. I absolutely loved them. My heart just broke watching Kyle interacting with his obviously inebriated mother. I had wondered why he was so secretive and keeping Noon away from his family. Then I saw the "reunion" and understood perfectly. I, too, found it extremely distasteful that Sharp even aired that footage. I think the circumstances regarding Kyle's estrangement from his mother could have been handled in a different way. I also loved the way Noon was willing to risk her visa status to go visit her father who was sick and Kyle was by her side as they left. Jason and his father are probably still scouting yard sales and making their money off of Ebay sales from their retirement community with the algae filled pool. Ah, the good old days of this franchise. And to bring this back on topic, I love to watch Sumbitch's facial reactions whenever Jenny brings up getting married. I can't decide if he's a decent actor or if he really is a deer in headlights at the thought of actually having to marry her. Either way, it's immensely entertaining.

I watched the supersized version last night (missed the original airing), and Amber was a passive-aggressive piece of work with what seemed to be a lot of underlying hostility towards Nathan. That "your little journey" comment combined with her subsequent comments about "that's a lot less food than you're used to eating...do you think you'll still be hungry?" (paraphrased) were just over the top. I did love his clap back of "I think it's better not to think about it." Nathan ordered something called Swiss chicken, I believe, but there goes Amber ordering potato soup, which is likely not on anybody's weight loss plan. Ugh. Probably thinking she could tempt Nathan to change his order. Nathan seemed like a good guy, so I hope he continued his weight loss "little journey" (ugh) and Amber found a more appropriate direction for her underlying anger. Now I'm going over to the live chat thread to read the delicious snark contained therein.

After that fuck and awe sleight of hand TLC* displayed in that entire Geoffrey/Varya/Mary story line, I'm starting to side eye all of these couples. I think the show has been on the air more than long enough for these couples to figure out how to get on the show and stay on the show by creating false drama (such as Pedro and Chantal, the Potthasts, Corey and Evelin, etc..). Anything to keep feeding from the bottomless TLC trough. I think as soon as the glorious train wreck of Dani and Mo came onto our screens and increased ratings, the writing was on the wall. The more outrageous the couple, the more likely they would end up on the show in some form. We have no proof that Sumbitch's family barged into their apartment and swept him away from Jenny. TLC (conveniently?) wasn't filming when this incident occurred. The only reason I lean towards believing it might have actually happened is because I don't think Jenny is skilled enough to pull off all of those tears, etc., when recounting it. I think their story might have started off genuine but, again, feeding from TLC trough and becoming a Z-list "celebrity" is apparently difficult to walk away from, so who knows how much of it is reality and how much of it is bullshit. *I'm saying TLC here, but a part of me wonders if it was really Geoffrey/Varya/Mary who played TLC as well as the viewers.

I'd have paid good money to see him go search around in her car for fast food wrappers and empty Starbucks cups again. 😂

Damn, I'd much rather see all of them jammed into Janelle's RV like sardines in a can. Set up your DVR if you are so inclined. The snarking resumes 11/21/2021. 🍿

Here's a question for my fellow posters who are more well versed in the area of personal training than I am. Since Whitney is not certified and didn't even complete the course, would Will be able to hire her as a personal trainer? I'm wondering about his liability if one of her clients were to be injured in some way and resulted in a lawsuit. I have no idea if being certified is a requirement to be hired as a personal trainer for a gym, but I'm sure one of you knows.

I'm not ashamed to admit if Papa Armando shows up, I will shed a few tears. Whilst not the most riveting story on this franchise, I find everyone involved so endearing and am truly hoping for them to get off of this show before TLC can fuck it up their happy ending. (Making a note to make sure I have a box of Kleenex next to me for the wedding episode.)

I've been in the hospital for the last week so I haven't had a chance to watch this shit show yet. Mini Persnickety gave me a recap, though. I am hoping beyond hope that after that incredibly rude and nasty "Ask Me Anything" she did and the fact that viewers uncovered her "relationship" with a French man was bullshit that "Bon Voyage, Whitney" means to the SHOW, not just this SEASON. There is no way anyone in an alleged happy relationship would have been in the mood that she-beast was in when she did that "Ask Me Anything." I thought maybe she was actively trying to get TLC to fire her. Then it occurred to me that maybe they already have. (All just speculation - and wishful thinking - on my part, I have no clue as to the status of this dumpster fire. I just can't believe TLC will keep slogging her ass along when she shit all over her own "fertility/egg retrieval" plot line that was driving this season while the season was still fucking airing. Crazy.)

I'm waiting for her to start using "comme" every 4-5 words as she does with "like." Oh, that's right, she can't speak French so it won't happen. 😂

I had a suggestion for Rinna's fake pony tail. "Duplicitous." For some reason, I doubt she'd have liked it, though.

I'm was skeptical about their storyline from the onset and that she was using it as exposure for her radio (?) career in Russia and his acting career. I think I even posted my suspicions on one of the early threads. Then seeing how quickly his temper seemed to flare and other things, I had second thoughts and decided maybe it was a legitimate story line and I had jumped the gun. That being said, when she showed up at his doorstep, I really smelled the bullshit. He might be an actor, but the acting on all of their parts was especially dreadful once that part of the story line came into play and I went back to believing the entire thing was fake. I'm still trying to wrap my caffeine-deprived brain around this latest development. I think not only were the viewers totally duped, but maybe even TLC. No matter what's really behind this shit storm, I hope Varya is proud of herself. She really grabbed herself a winner. 🤢

I totally agree, just like dumbass Liz with Ed. But now I'm curious about something. The show led us to believe Varya had left and he had resumed his relationship with Mary. In fact, someone on one of the FB Savage pages even posted a picture of herself with Geoffrey at a local bar, where he had shown up with Mary. To this poster, it looked for all intents and purposes that he was back with Mary. I cannot swear to it, but I believe this poster who had her picture taken with him even outright asked him if he and Varya were together and he said no. So where does the truth end and the deception begin? Was the entire storyline bullshit and Geoffrey and Varya were together the entire time, even after filming ended? Did Geoffrey and Varya fake the entire storyline hoping to get him more exposure for his acting career and her a green card? What was the extent of Mary's true inclusion in this bullshit? Did she and Geoffrey really have a relationship after filming ended, but it didn't work out so he bounced back to Varya? Ugh, so many fucking questions about where the lines of "reality" and "bullshit" cross. (Disclosure: I hope this makes sense. I'm only on my first cup of coffee this morning.)

And not get off topic too much, apparently the rumors were correct and there will not be a reunion this year. On topic, WTF with that twat known as Erika referring to the victims as "alleged?" These victims are not "alleged," Erika. They were decided in a court of law to be victims and hence awarded their settlements that your husband robbed them of. Fucking idiot. And Kyle had to have Farrah's boyfriend explain the NYT article to her because it was so long? Not to make sure she was comprehending it correctly but because it was so long? (insert face palm emoji here). And she was certainly quiet during this segment of the reunion. I guess she's hoping the target won't land on her for all her not-so-subtle shit stirring this season. You can hide your shit stirring spoon, Kyle, but we all saw your shenanigans this season. 🥄

I've always been under the assumption Hunter is gay. I don't even know why I came to that conclusion, but it was reinforced by Babs never talking about Hunter giving her grandchildren (although, gay or not, he certainly could provide grandchildren for Glenn and Babs), always talking about the only way she would get grandchildren was from Whitney, and just other little remarks throughout the show. Who cares if he's gay? I certainly don't give a fuck. I doubt anyone else does, either, so I'm flummoxed as to why asshole Whitney went off on that IG girl's question the way she did. As for her not being single? Okay, asshole, whatever you say 😂😂😂

I really enjoyed this season as much as the previous two. I'm almost embarrassed to admit I started to actually like Sherry and Carey when they were locked in the cage together. Ironic how being trapped together (and shooting each other) brought them closer together. I was glad when they found the key. And next season set in Paris as Joe tries to track down Marianne? Oh yeah, count me in! Thanks, Netflix, for letting us know season 4 is on its way 🥂

This was never anything more than a transactional relationship. Michael failed to be able to hold up his end and Juliana left. I don't know why these chucklefucks who "buy" themselves a spouse are so shocked when things end as this did relationship did. It's like this, Michael...You buy yourself a beautiful home but cannot live up to your end of the purchase. The bank takes your house away since you can no longer make the payments... Oh wait....

And I always found it interesting that he quit that call center job almost the minute Jenny's flight landed...and neglected to tell her about that for a few days. No explanation as I recall, either. Just that he had quit.
