  1. I have an irrational deep-seated fear of zombies. I think it started when I was really young and made the mistake of watching The Night of the Living Dead (that scary black and white original movie) late at night. Very little scares me in real life except heights and zombies, even though one of those fears is valid and the other is absurd. I saw the original Dawn of the Dead and it scared me. Then I saw the James Gunn remake of Dawn of the Dead and once he enabled those bastards to run like Olympian-caliber athletes, my previous state of finding them scary leapt up to DefCon proportions. I had nightmares for at least a week and yet continue to torture myself by watching it every single time it's on. Because I'm a freak like that. When I heard about The Walking Dead and that it was a realistic portrayal at surviving an apocalypse (in this case zombie apocalypse), I was in. In for a penny, in for a pound. I'll watch it until it reaches it's conclusion to face my big fear every week. Also, full disclosure, to snark on Carl. I despise that kid's character with the fire of 1000 suns. My biggest hope last season was that he would slide off of that roof right into a pack of hungry zombies, with only the sharp lid of his pudding can to protect himself. I don't hate all kids, really I don't. Hell, I have one. I just hate Carl. And I've really no clue why, I just roll with it.
  2. Absolutely. It was a great environment over there last night...Until the mod-bashing posts started and people started getting banned for them left and right, bwahahaha. Funny thing is, I was in the process of posting a big fat LOL to one of them in the RHoATL thread because, even if I didn't necessarily agree with it, it was a snarkaclious comment, but then I got distracted by the goodbye thread and didn't get around to it. Good thing I didn't, or Howard would have brought her BANNED hammer down on me, too! Keeping multiple tabs open last night unintentionally saved my ass. Glad to see you here, walnutqueen. You and I and Maharincess had a great time going down with the ship last night. Good thing we found the lifeboat known as PTV to keep us afloat.
  3. And then he himself appeared in this episode. Marcia was fickle...Davey Jones, Desi Arnaz, Jr. Girl had her pick (Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!!!) (I have attempted to link a video clip from You Tube but I am experiencing an epic fail...Back to the "how to" section with my thick head) Well, I'll be damned, it DID work...Woot!
  4. I always have a mental image of this happening when it comes to any of the housewives not wanting to participate in something. I'll use Kelli Bensimon since she maintains she was "forced" to go on the Scary Island trip. KELLI: Andy, I'm not comfortable around those women. I don't want to go on that trip. ANDY: Well, Kelli, you should give some more thought to that. You might change your mind. KELLI: No, Andy, seriously. I'm not going. ANDY: Well, of course, we can't FORCE you to go, Kelli. Let's just take a look at a your contract and see how that might effect your salary for this season or your return for next season, shall we? KELLI: Well, I guess I could go, now that you put it that way, Andy. I always figured the insistence on Kelli's part that she was "forced" to go and Andy's equal insistence that she was not forced to go probably goes down something like the above. Yes, Bravo can't force you to do anything...But they can damned sure make your salary and/or contact negotiations perilous if you do refuse.
  5. Persnickety13 from TWOP checking in for this thread. I went down with the ship last night and, wow...That goodbye thread was getting really emotional towards the end. Too bad those 9000 people couldn't have frequented the site more often because they had some great stories to tell. I am kicking myself square in the ass today for not taking screen shots of that thread once the Howard comments started. Some of those were absolutely epic. I hope yours was one final snark before the lights went off permanently!
  6. Thanks for being so accommodating to our needs, Lisin. You must be swamped with all of us TWOP refugees and your willingness to work with us as we're navigating the waters here at PTV are really appreciated!
  7. Another TWOP refugee here, too. I've made a couple of posts in the Housewife threads. I really gravitate to the NY franchise when it's on just for the amazing real estate porn and getting to see places I might never seen in my lifetime. It's the next best thing to being there. Thanks for the warm welcome, PVT!
  8. Ain't that the truth. And we know these women certainly aren't above pulling the "IT WAS THE EDITING!!!" card, so I was surprised Heather didn't just try to play it off as the editing monkeys hard at work to make her look bad. Heather grates on my last intact nerve. She and Terry are really coming across as beyond arrogant this season. It's not a good look for them. And I've had a bit of a bitter aftertaste in my mouth ever since I heard Terry call Coco a "little bitch."
  9. Aviva's Leg is very popular. It has 3 separate Twitter accounts: https://twitter.com/avivasotherleg, https://twitter.com/LeglessBlonde, https://twitter.com/AvivasLeg Unfortunately, none of them give a clue as to why it's all dressed up but abandoned in the middle of the floor. Personally, I'm hoping that leading up to it we're treated to an Aviva meltdown that would rival an erupting volcano.
  10. I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right thread, so moderators, please slap my hand gently if I'm not. Did anyone else catch the First Look for this week's episode this morning? So much fun in one episode. Ryan copping to using HGH purchased off the street. Vicki choking on a big old piece of meat (insert your own pun here, please. I certainly did). The family portrait sessions with both Shannon and Heather. I'm beginning to think those 2 might have a lot more in common than they realize. Now the countdown until the episode...
  11. I just realized what your screen name is. You owe me a keyboard now, lol!
  12. That stupefies me as well. I've nothing against drinking and enjoy my fair share of prosecco, but this was an event at noon. Noontime and already serving up shots? At what is supposed to be a family-friendly event? Yeah, not getting that. If this were an evening event and it was all adults, I'd totally be fine with it, but between the open bar and grown men yelling sexual comments at the women riding the bull, I was totally skeeved out that there were kids in attendance. On another note, Heather has apparently stated that she was drunk on champagne and didn't even remember making the comment about turning up the bull; on the other hand, she also maintains she was only joking. Well, which is it, Fancy Pants? Were you drunk off of your expensive "champs," or were you joking? I don't think you can have it both ways.
  13. Good point. I never made that connection until I read your post, LOL! I would have enjoyed this episode a great deal more had they left all of the footage of Aviva's dinner with Chester...I mean George, on the cutting room floor. I don't find his perverted shenanigans entertaining in the least. He can exit stage left and take his mannequinesque daughter with him, please. My first post on this site...I'm a TWOP refugee without a home.
