I can say they looked...good... and the little bit I could hear was fine. I thank you all for helping me along with this. (And yes, I could go to the other room, but laziness has taken over).

Mr ebk is on a Zoom call with his family, so the TV is turned down pretty low. Am I missing much? 🙂

This week's show with (should-have-been-President) Elizabeth Warren was excellent! Liz was excellent, and the next segment with Michael Lewis was outstanding. And scary. And funny.

FS1 is showing episodes of This Week in Baseball from 1983. The last good year in baseball... 😉 It's picking up my mood today.

Little Shop of Subtitles Better than Horrors, I guess.

In case anyone is interested, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley are doing 2 videos a day, mostly with Broadway folks, but a whole bunch are TV reunion casts. Here's the one with the Barry cast (without Barry, but with lots of other fun folks). It's a fun hour.

This was fun. A little rough, but needed. I did love seeing people's houses, especially the Hanks house and Colin's living room. I wasn't crazy about the laughter during Update, but otherwise, a nice job.

The Hal Willner tribute was beautiful.

The last 2 shows, with Stacey Abrams and Katie Porter, were wonderful. That's a ticket I could vote for - Abrams/Porter...or Porter/Abrams. And Jewel in the shed!!

I would pay good money to see this... especially the broken bottle part! Thanks teddysmom. And thanks to all of you. I never watch this show, but I always check in here. You watch so I don't have to.

Wish I could help, but since i was at that game, I didn't see it on TV. And never did, actually. I've seen the highlights, but not the whole game. It was a great night at the ballpark! Then, exactly one year later, Eddie Murray's 500th HR. I had to wait out a rain delay for that, but it was so worth it.

Ellis Marsalis, Jr., father of Wynton and Branford, and an incredible musician and teacher, has died.

Playwright Terrence McNally has died from Covid-19.   This makes me so sad. I saw many of his works back in the day. He wrote the books for some wonderful musicals, too. Sigh...

If you watched 2 or more shows on any NBC network yesterday, you felt like Larry was a celebrity. He was an important part of getting the celebs on the air. And from everything said about him, he was an all-around fabulous guy. I, for one, am always grateful to see the backstage folks get some on-air love. My only nitpick would be that by the end of the day, I wanted more pictures of Larry than the 4 or 5 they kept showing. Thanks for everything Larry, and RIP.

I was reminded this morning that Mr. ebk became a stagehand because of Kenny Rogers and the First Edition. They were playing a concert on his campus. His dorm was near the arena and when the trucks got there, some guys from the dorm were co-opted to help unload and set up the show. Then they found out the band was somewhere else. So they took the show down and loaded up the trucks. Mr. ebk was hooked and the rest is history. The band came back the following year to do a make-up show, so that was nice.

Mr ebk and I had to play it back a couple of times because I first heard "has a bag in its mouth" and that didn't make any sense. At the risk of having no one know what I'm talking about, I'll say Stephen was using a "Bob Ryan" quality phone (you'll know if you ever listen to Tony Kornheiser's radio show/podcast).

Stephen is on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me this week. Charming, as always! His daughter's cow joke is funny.

I was happy to see Jon Batiste and Stay "Homin;" last night, too. I love Jon.

I'm pretty sure refunds will be automatic. Without spoiling it (because you really can't say much about this show without spoiling it), I thought it was funny/a bit silly at the start. Then it got more serious and raised many good issues... quite interesting. Then, it took a sharp turn and went off a cliff. I'm still not sure what I thought of the play. Which is why I'll be interested to hear what you think. I hope the show is able to resume when the crisis has passed.

We were just saying that about the Os earlier today. ETA: Although now that I think about, I'm sure we can find a way, no matter how short the season is!
